I love Arlene Francis so much. I am very sad Peter Gabel, her only son passed away last year. Wally Bruner is the worst though. He just answers for all the guests. I’m glad he was not there s long time. I miss seeing Bennett, John, Dorothy, and Steve Allen.
It was cool to see Alan Alda before he starred so many years on "M*A*S*H on this episode.
I love the show, but the Cottens are really are a strange couple. But it worked and she loved him dearly. In her day Mrs Cotten was drop dead gorgeous.
He was a well known attractive actor. She was beautiful. Not that strange to me. Nice looking man and beautiful woman. She is gorgeous

IMDB lists Patricia Medina as 5 ' 7 1\2 " . That is the shortest 5' 7 1\2 " I have ever seen ! She appeared in movies with Abbott & Costello and the Three Stooges , not many can say that . She usually appeared in adverture type movies like Maureen O' Hara . I do not get the bangs , she usually had long raven hair . Maybe she was ill at the time . She was in her prime a beautiful , exotic woman
I went back to listen to it a second time. That girl got paid a dollar and a quarter an hour. I suppose 50+ years ago that must have been big for a teenager.

Joe Cotton's career would take a nose dive a few years later when he ended up in schlock films. Dr. Phibes was the last great film Joe Cotton Co starred in at this time. Then for some reason he did Ed Wood type films for awhile.
It always amazes me how time flies, when you think about how that lovely young lady Joyce is now in her 70s. I don't wish to sound crude but Mrs Medina is creepy looking, I'd like to think that it was the makeup job

For a second I thought they were going to guess Eddie Albert and Eva Gabor because the lady's fake voice sounded just like Eva's. Obviously once they established it was a married couple that ruled them out, LOL.
