- I LOVED making this song, cuz I made the lyrics with my sister 😊 So for this one I used a Raven to symbolize Darkness & bad luck. Sometimes in life you desparetly want to seek happiness, but you are SURROUNDED by darkness, making it seem impossible. All you need is that Raven to sing you a happy song 😊 I Also played off Edgar Allen poe’s “The Raven” poem for some of the lyrics, one of my favorites 😊

I legit thought that exact thing when I heard the Scorpion line. I love how both that story and the meaning behind The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe is tied together in this song along with so much other symbolism. This is my favourite song from Unlike Pluto.

My mom passed away January 1st this year, and this song reminds me of her BC she loved ravens and he favorite poem was Edgar Allen Poe’s the raven. And listening to this song made me tear up and smile just BC of what it’s based off of. This will forever be my song to her. Thank you.😊

Bro you took a 2 week break, and in that 2 week period I had a big revelation in my life and you come back with a new song that still matches my mood. I cut someone off that was toxic that I thought I loved, but it was the first time I had ever done something like that for myself, let alone anything for myself. It wasn't easy, BUT I'M FUCKING BACK. One of my character’s name is Raven. He is a black and white cat who lives in a clan. He was adopted by his adoptive father and adoptive brother. Later on, he discovers that the creatures his clan always had feared, are really kind and special creatures. Raven is destined to become the leader of both tribes so that all of them would live in peace.

I really enjoy this one because the symbolism is so good. Sometimes our pain and darkness can feel like companions. And in a way, they are, they're trying to protect us from even more pain.
But eventually we have to move on, we can't stay stuck in the pain and darkness. We have to realise that what was once helpful to us is now hurting us. We have to move forward.

After a bad break up I essentially changed big time and figured I’d even change who I was know by and started to be called Valravyn or Ravyn for short. Heard this song while essentially drowning myself in depression and reliving my past and it’s odd to say but things instantly changed.
