What is Disney Dreamlight valley?
This is a brand-new game that is still in early release and available on multiple platforms including the switch! The game is very similar to other cosy games such as Animal Crossing New Horizons and Stardew Valley. There are plenty of things to do and some great quest lines with your favourite disney characters!

Not sure if this is known, but if you go back to Remy’s starting realm and cook a lot of 5* meals and then drop them on the floor, they stay after you leave. So instead of going home to restore stamina you can warp,right to Remy’s world pick up a couple meals and get yellow stamina every time and it’s all free materials.

You have no idea how long it takes to make a path on console...
on what console do you play? I play on switch and it's a nightmare to make paths with the originial joycons, they are soo bad... I want to buy PRO controller but I'm not sure it will help...

if anyone is using switch and struggling with path placement you can use your joycon to place the path and THEN use your finger to drag your path on the screen of the switch. I discovered this recently after struggling for a very long time because I mainly play docked. Hope this helps someone!

For the tree hack, I personally found it exhausting to keep placing trees until I found the one I was looking for. I found this trick by accident but instead of placing the trees over and over, just get the type of tree you want and if it’s not the size you’re going for just click ‘B’ or whatever your cancel option is and then select the same tree again until you find the one you want then you can place it. Saves soooooo much time. I hope this makes sense. ❤️ amazing tips btw!
Love this, just started playing and like with all games I play “do the quests, do the quests” but I really want to make things look nice.

Your tips have been super helpful to me that's a beginner in all this, but I've noticed some people have these medieval looking metal fences they've been decorating with and I don't have that in mine to build. Maybe it will appear when we get the update fix this month.
For the brick floor. You dragged around the floor tiles, right but you know you can click any one of tile and, then drag it around again *without* re-opened F to click on brick tile to add again anymore. ♥

I had no idea that I had to have at least 1 of an item in my inventory when attempting to order from Scrooge! I couldn't figure out why I could prefer some dog and not others; I thought it was related to his shop. Thank you for the heads up! *new subscriber*
I made my plaza a new Orleans theme, THEN I realized there was a swamp biome! I'm trying to do different themes in different biomes, now I gotta figure out what to do with the swamp biome lol. 🤣
I haven’t even ATTEMPTED to decorate yet. Also waiting till I get more furniture as I level up & buy from Scrooge

It kind of reminds me of the interior decorating of acnh but outside, which is pretty nice! However it is pretty janky so I’ve avoided decorating as much as possible (on Xbox and it’s a nightmare lmao)
Yeah it’s pretty hard on Xbox (the device I play it on) although it’s not that bad

I only wish the roads did corners and that it aligns with the houses more, so I can build it right up to the door, some of them delete part of the road so it looks off

Not a silly question at all, but if you go into furniture mode and scroll down there is a section for landscaping items and they are free to use! 😊
So the trees don't add to item count is that what you mean by free please or you don't need to pay for them?
It’s so hard to decorate on the switch . I wish I knew how to convert it on the PC.

I bought the ultimate pack but honestly there is no need for that as it’s just furniture items. Finding a game better than acnh will take a while!
Do you decorate via switch? I find it so hard on switch and it crashes and drives me crazy.
I play on PC. Hopefully the crashing will improve with the updates as it is still in early release.
I removed everything from the plaza and then went to decorate it for Christmas and it looks awful and I can’t fix it…:(

I think they patched being able to buy crafted items :(
And made it harder to get resources by limiting the amount of things you can buy per day from Kristoff's stall too.
