I’ve noticed on more than one occasion my fitness pal is not correct. I’ve had well showing low or I was really high by going by what they said, but I will try the other apps to see if it’s better and thanks for the tech.
Ive seen several that count only "net carbs" youve gotta check with the nutrition facts on the actual package to make sure its accurate. You can add your own meal as well
I want to thank you for all of your videos and posts on Instagram and RUclips. I am so thrilled to have found you. I was diagnosed at age 12 . I’ve had diabetes for 52 years and for over 20 of those years I’ve been wearing a MEDTRONIC pump. I almost switched after having such frustration with my 670 G / Guardian 3 that I was ready to switch I decided to give MEDTRONIC one more chance I upgraded to the 780 G / Guardian 4 and it has been a game changer. All the issues are resolved , I feel so validated because I thought it was me that was at fault but it was actually the system . Needless to say your content is so helpful and informative I am going to try the apps you recommended Thank you
Not helpful - so many apps. I don't want to spend so much time looking up individual food items. I need an app where I can enter my planned meal and it provides a list with individual and total running carb count. Anything out there?
New subscriber!! Thank you for the information!!! My son is 6 with 9 months of diagnosis and counting carbs is probably the hardest for me as his mom but this HELPS SO MUCH!
figwee does not seem to be very active. I check what they still have as contact pages; twitter say that is not a listed account. I like their idea of showing pics of serving sizes and adjusting carbs; do you know of any other apps that do that?
Why blood sugar is getting high after the cheat meal , even after taking the right dose , when i check my blood sugar after 2 hours i have to high my basal dose for 12 hours, becouse its keep spiking the whole day , till the next day to become fine, any answer for this please?
Great tips! I've been using My Net Diary (the Diabetes version) for years. Check it out. I input my food, my insulin, my BG numbers. I'm using the carb counting version and see my carbs right away. You also have the ability to input a unique recipe and get a pretty accurate carb count. It is available for phones, tablets and PC's.
Thanks for the tips... I was searching for something similar online,, but couldn't find it until this clip. Cheers
Glad I could help! Listen to tomorrow's podcast for more carb counting tips!!

Thank you for all the tips. Diabetes management is hard, anything to make it easier is appreciated.

Welome to the channel :)
Hello, I use Cronometer, it's pretty easy to use. The free version does more than I need, log, favorites etc.
Thanks for sharing!! I'm going to check it out!!!
Cronometer is miles beyond MFP, which I quit using due to a lack of accuracy.
did you try to do carb count with chat gpt ? i did and it’s very effective

I use Carb Manager. They have a scan feature and you also get the number of carbs
WHAT???! How can it scan and know how many carbs? That sounds futuristic.
@@diabe_tech sorry scans the barcode lol. That would be awesome
In the UK I use an app called Carbs and Cals not sure if it is available in the US. Seems similar to my fitness pal
Please let explain how com prevent high or low?
Calorie King not available on the UK. 😢

The Starbucks app has the nutrition info on everything. I’ve found it to be super accurate on the breakfast sandwiches.
Me too! Love going straight to the source for the info.

Gluroo calculates carbs using a photo. Not sure how accurate it is...
Yes! I’m going to test it out.
