    Hello. Chris Konkle here. Just to give you a heads up. If you click on any of the links in my video descriptions or on my website, you will be led to Amazon. I am an associate and will receive a commission on any purchases you make. My goal is to make it easy. For people who do not know what real contractors use for tools, personal protective equipment, equipment, services or any other procured items. Also, easy for experienced trades people by having all the items neatly organized and grouped together for quick and easy purchasing. There are millions of different products available out there. I only promote those that I have either personally used or have fully researched and believe they will deliver value to you.
    It takes a lot of time and money from myself to bring you all the free content. Our message is to master construction and be an industry leader. Then you can train other workers to be quality trades people that value organization and leadership and use problem solving to ensure project success. This message promotes good ethics and practices in both business and work.
    Construction Kronies is affiliated with Amazon.com, Merch by Amazon, Skill Share, SimplyWise, Paltap.io, Streamlabs and Tubebuddy. Please know that I have not received any free product or compensation from any of these companies for mentioning them on my website, in my video descriptions or videos themselves. The only form of compensation that I would receive is if there is a transaction made with those companies and I would receive a commission.
    Thank you for your support.
    Chris Konkle.

    Thank you for the shout out in the beginning of the video bro, very humbled by it. It took me a couple days to watch it because I didn't want to miss anything. I sat and watched it on the big screen. Honestly I want to watch it again, in case I missed anything. Just so I can have it set in my brain. I think you guys make a wonderful team, you're very blessed to have a partner that you're able to learn off of and is willing to teach you. Cheers to you my bro you guys are the best.

    hey ive been a taper in calgary for the past 13 years (im 32 now) the company that im with started as a small company that mainly did new houses and custom homes. we eventually started doing commercial, mostly downtown (which i hated but now i enjoy it) anyway i never really cared about the whole drywall process. so i recently got a raise to 35 an hour and its really motivated me to learn more about steel stud framing, boarding and tbar. ive been watching your videos like its gospel and its so entertaining and educational. ive always prided myself on my finish but now learning the steps before hand, i feel so much more confident in my trade. i was forced to learn about all the steel, tbar and drywall sheet sizes just because of deliveries in the company truck. i wanted to say thanks for your vids. one day i hope to be able to do the basics of framing boarding and tbar so i can look at the process as a whole and become that much more valuable and indispensable (which i already am taping wise haha. sorry i had to toot my own horn)

      Eye legs, you can get different drilling points, for wood, steel, even drillable or shoot in eye legs for concrete.

    Love your videos very informative! I’m thinking of getting into this type of work. Is this something I can learn and easily turn into a business and hire employees or you wouldn’t recommend it? Is this a good long term business (will there be this type of work available in the future)?

    • @ConstructionKronies
      @ConstructionKronies  Год назад +1

      Sure is. This trade will be around for a long time, until we are replaced by robots. I was running my own crew in a few years after starting the trade so it's possible my man.

      @@ConstructionKronies thanks for the response! Can you make a video on how to read and interpret blueprints and how to properly bid jobs in person or just with the blueprints? Also do you have any videos on how to do artistic callings and exterior heavy gauge framing and the sound proofing sheets that you use for exterior for industrial buildings I believe.

    • @ConstructionKronies
      @ConstructionKronies  Год назад

      Yeah man, I think stilts are the best. I'm actually just afraid of them myself. Also here in Alberta I believe is the only province of Canada you are legally aloud to use them.

      @@ConstructionKronies wow that's nuts, didn't know it's illegal. Here in the US, some jobs won't allow them. And some companies won't as well

    Thank you for your content. I am a 52 year old carpenter with 40 years experience but have little hands on steel stud framing experience . Im about to take on a project involving lots of steel stud. Your videos reminded me of what I do know and some stuff I didn't.

    I like to lock my first main in perfect on the line so I can build off it without worrying about it moving as 'm pushing the cross tees in and connecting everything. Also I'm surprised you guys don't have to use seismic clips there. We pretty much have to use them on any room bigger than 12x12 in Ontario, and of course our company never supplies the proper ones for the cross tees.

    • @ConstructionKronies
      @ConstructionKronies  Год назад

      Yeah I've heard about those clips, I'm sure it's just a matter of time before they start specifying them here. Cheers my man!

  • @franciscogutierrez3095
    @franciscogutierrez3095 5 дней назад

    I don't put the wires in the middle of the tees, I always put them in the corners and the main connections!

    • @ConstructionKronies
      @ConstructionKronies  5 дней назад

      Yeah we have them all on the maina as well. 4x4 on the main none on cross ts

    • @franciscogutierrez3095
      @franciscogutierrez3095 5 дней назад

      @@ConstructionKronies I mean between tees, many times you end up with no wire on the main connection and the connection ends up not being leveled and it's harder to lay the tile having the wires in the middle of the tile
