I disagree Freckle actually seems to be aware and even acknowledges what they're doing is bad. Rocky doesn't. Worse I think he fully understands what he's doing is wrong but doesn't care. Or at the very least he's too concerned with remaining "Useful" to Lackadaisy to care.
@@scottmemelord6130 good analysis! I wonder if Ivy would try to persuade Freckle to go with her if she discovers that the gangster life isn’t what she imagined, seeing how she romanticises it so much.
@@teamtx1578 freckle would be dangerous with Rocky’s mentality. Freckle is a good guy but his problem is that he’s too nice in a way. He cares about his cousin so much he’ll stick by him and do what Rocky says (who himself isn’t fully aware of how he’s endangering others), which causes actual damage
I love how Freckle just casually puts his hat back on while he still has that feral look on his face. If looks could kill, he'd be giving both Viktor and Mordecai a run for their money.
The later Lackadaisy comics went insane, with Rocky becoming absolutely unhinged from his head injury, and the beautiful backgrounds and scenery in the comic panels.
I am looking forward to when more comic pages are released and we see what Rocky does next. Honestly, just about everything in book 3 seems to be escalating to an intense degree! Looking forward to reading more!
I think Freckle was probably the one responsible for whatever happened rather than Rocky, and was worried Rocky told Ivy something that might color her opinion of him a bit differently.
I think the fact that getting his head split by a Hearse didn't kill him gave him an ego boost that will be very interesting, or terrifying, to see in future pages.
@@CommanderActaeon I think it’s also made him desperate. He was so upset earlier when he “failed” and now he’s willing to put himself at even further risk he’ll be left behind. His depressive episode where he talked about how he was sent away all alone shows how worried he is
Thanks! I appreciate it! Rocky is especially entertaining to work with! Though on reflection, I think I could have gone another route with Wes. in a fandub by channel "Zee Andrews" for the page "Scrutiny" I think VA Simon in that page pretty well nailed Wes. If/when I do another fandub involving Wes, I may try that approach. Thanks again!
Wow, honestly i think Rocky is far more dangerous than Freckle! Why? Cuz Freckle is a nice guy but only turns into a monster when he is mad or has a weapon. Rocky On the other hand, he is simply a monster. If you make him very angry, he can blow up your house or kill/hurt many people. He is very unstable at this moment kinda like Bipolar/Psychopathic disorder ☠️👌
Absolutely wonderful fandub! Oh poor Rocky’s been through so much. Poor Sweet boy has lost a few screws here and there. But He’s still an adorable ball of Anarchy though, right after my own heart. 😻
An out-of-place pie truck lumbering up a steep hill and easily letting itself get cut off without trying to escape? Also, driver is talking a lot about seemingly nothing and doesn’t seem too phased to be held at gunpoint even as your buddy searches the area? Nah, that’s TOTALLY not a trap.
I honestly am in love with your voice portrayals for the characters in this. I honestly thought there were different people voicing different bits xD. But anywho, I believe you did Lackadaisy some justice with this. Great work!
Thank you very much! I try to make each character sound distinct as best as I can, It is a unique challenge when voicing two characters who are talking to each other! By the way, did you see the Lackadaisy Season 1 teaser? EXCITING!
I enjoy watching these Lackadaisy fandubs. Well done! Which one do you think is scarier, Wes Clyde or Mordecai Heller? Clyde is larger and more muscular but Heller's got smarts and a certain dark charm.
I think Mordecai ultimately is the far more dangerous character. Mordecai is a hatchetman who plans for everything (except Rocky's shenanigans. . . no one could have foreseen him driving an excavator filled with Dynamite. . .lol). One simple, but significant piece of evidence to this is in the volume 3, page 3 "Bearcat." (read past the SPOILER WARNING below for more details.) Meanwhile Wes does have an AWESOME design, and I am sure he was dangerous in his own right. A no nonsense weas-. . . . cat. . . that does not shy away from lethal force. Sadly, we don't have a whole lot of time with him after his. . . crushing defeat here. UNLESS, they THINK Wes got shot and fell, and he's actually still alive and the car was rolled off the hill in the OTHER direction. (I imagine you've read it, but I'll include a SPOILER WARNING in case you or anyone reading this hasn't.) When Gracie Grombach searched Mordecai for weapons and found a pistol with a Left-handed grip, Grombach said "A fellow Lefty?" but it was a decoy with the firing pin removed, so when Serafine attacked his backup from behind, he couldn't fire back. We then see Mordecai Fire his own real gun with his right hand. Clearly Mordecai is right handed, or maybe Ambidextrous, since he is a stickler for Symmetry after all, but he always fires right handed regardless. This shows me just how dangerous he really is. He wanted to deny who he deems his target as much information as possible, even something as simple as if he is left or right handed. He does not allow the enemy to have any information that could give them even the SLIGHTEST advantage.
@@CommanderActaeon Agreed! Sure, Clyde is larger and gruffer than Heller but I'm sure you can easily sidestep him if he runs at you like Heller did with Grombach. However, Heller is visible proof that brain beats brawn. Plus, he's unpredictable, cunning, and doesn't seem to lose his cool very often. Plus, he doesn't drink or smoke, so he earns 10,000 respect points from me for that. This probably doesn't matter but Heller is the only villain I've seen that doesn't seem to be affected by any of the 7 deadly sins: 1. Greed: Doesn't seem like the type. 2. Pride: He takes pride in his appearance, but he doesn't boast about it or himself. 3. Lust: Asexual 4. Wrath: Cool-headed 5. Sloth: Always working or finding stuff to do 6. Gluttony: With his build? I think I'd put Mr. Sweet under this category than Heller. 7. Envy: I think people are more envious towards Heller than he is towards anyone else
Welp, i think its safe to say Rocky's recovered from his little existential crisis(it was when he saw the scar on his face for the first time and he had a breakdown)
Great video! I haven't seen anyone else that's dubbed this portion of the comic, so it's nice to finally hear it! As much as I love seeing dubs for the main cast, it's nice to see peoples impressions of side characters. Can't wait to see more videos dude
Everything is pretty good, though the one thing I'd love to see is references to Calvin's Irish heritage, like him pronouncing some "th" words with only a "t" and maybe a slight Irish accent
Tracy and company do have physical versions of volume 1 and 2 preparing to go out, I think you can still order them. And I agree the artwork is fantastic!

I love the quiet terror in Freckle's "Oh." Rocky has never been entirely stable, but now, he's quite possibly crazier than ever.
What's interesting about the art in the comic is that it transitioned from strictly sepia tones to far more color at this point.
Lot more detail and shading as well. The character designs definitely look a lot less "angular" than they used to.
Freckle must be confused about the "family tragedy" that Rocky signed his name on.
Yeah I don’t understand what he meant by it
