I picked up this figure and Short Round a few weeks ago. Really looking forward to the Crusade version of Indy, and of course the Adventure Series Henry Sr as well.
Swap the necks. they probably don't match the ball joints to the heads, because the skin color is different on the necks. so glad i waited for the mezco.
Have you thought about gluing the whip holster closed and cutting a diagonal slit on the coiled whop where it would slide into the holster and not be seen? (If it goes wrong, we have plenty of coiled Indy whips to replace it lol)
great one spot.....i wonder if they'll keep this line going since its still so new or really done like people been sayin. be nice to get some crystal skull figures and come on.....give us the ol' river phoenix young indy and crystal skull since they did 8 billion other versions of him already. might as well have em all at this point.
The Indys with lighter beard, eyes, and eyebrows pull Harrison Ford out of that sculpt. The darker paint apps look like generic "adventure guy." Most of Hasbro's Black Series Han Solos suffer the same fate. Lighten the face paint and bingo -- Harrison Ford.
I'm able to attach the whip to the belt on this one, but not on my Raiders one. I think it's really just luck of the draw. Love this figure overall, but the machete is just terrible. I'll make a replacement one eventually, but for now I'm just using the one from the One:12 Jason Voorhees.
Is it just me or the one I got but his face sculpt is terrible and it’s all glossy looks nothing like Harrison ford and for as many black series figures they have done with the photo real face sculpting in recent years they must just not of givin a shit about this line……to be honest the dial of destiny one looks the best of them…..so glad I got these at Ollie’s for $10 and didn’t pay almost $30 each for them ……I still want short round tho
Are these boxes seriously to do with "recycling" reasons? Because plastic and cardboard literally goes in the same blue bin. And i don't see how cardboard is more "green" than plastic, anyway. As cardboard is a tree, and plastic is not... wouldn't it make more sense to use more plastic and less trees? Is anyone understanding this backwards world?
Trees are a renewable resource whereas plastic enters the environment and never ever goes away, causing long term harm to living creatures including human beings. The boxes are crap but paper is definitely more environmentally friendly.

The differently-sized neck ball-joints are disappointing. Hasbro must know people would want to try swapping heads between the various Indy figures.
Got mine at Ollie’s and opened it to my surprise missing machete and revolver lol still haven’t got around to exchanging it lol … great review btw
I like the fedora.
Wow that looks exactly like him some dolls dont look like the stars but this one does.

Great review! Can’t you just swap the necks with the heads still attached to them?

Can you change the entire neck peice?
Try a small piece of blue tac

The headsculpt on the 1st figure isn’t good. The best one is the Temple of Doom fig..I’m amazed you can’t swap the heads!
This indy has a pronounced overbite
Yeah it really does stand out wonder why they painted him like that?
