Especially since this is a woman who is/was a big part of hip hops story. She's extremely successful but since she's a woman,we just focus on how "fuckable" she is or isn't and not the impact she made on the industry.

I am 45 from Jersey and remember when she started. She was cool as hell, but she was too much of a dude's girl than a girl's girl. Like she was trying to kiss every male rapper's ass. I understood she was trying to be the anti-Wendy -- where Wendy was girly, loud, and in your face she tried to be cool, quiet and chilling, but TO ME that was boring and seemed mad phoney. just like I think this book is going to be.
