I love this interview; you did a great job Angie Martinez! What people have to realize that both Kim and Remy been through alot of shit with the industry. They both dealt with the messy contracts and the political games of the industry. They also dealt with feeling betrayed by people that they loved and loss people in their life that were important to them. They also both been to jail or prison. Sometimes God put people in your life for a reason. Like Kim said when you are real, authentic with one another and have respect for one another you may find a friend within that person cause you never know what that person was going through. In this case they going through the same shit and can relate to one another issues and they are grown women with kids. So they can look at one another and be like I get what you are going through and I'm sure it was a working progress but lets put our differences aside and unite. They probably form a friendship within that unity cause they been through so much and had more in common then what they realized. They are focus on uniting all female rappers and bringing them back to the forefront and I love it. What did Lauryn Hill say you can keep money you can keep the power but keep your eye on the final hour. I believe they are focus on changing the game for women in hip hop at this moment and its a blessing to see the unity again. They are both connected to some historical figures in hip hop. When people see Kim they think Biggie and that whole era of Pac, Biggie and Bad Boy era. When people see Remy they think Big Pun and then you also have Terror Squad and D.I.T.C which Fat Joe came from. So Blessings to them.
