I wish 50 was interviewed in this series considering his recovery from a near death experience, road to success and early mentorship for some young cats who unfortunately passed.
Angie, all your episodes have been profound but THIS one was THE ONE. Joe changed the trajectory of my entire life moving forward with his theory about us getting clues about our death. This was a great conversation and we need more like these. I want an Angie and Joe segment on a regular basis!
Dammit the algorithm is really doing its job today. I wasn't aware of this series by Angie, but as you will see again and again. "I see Joe, I click" simple as that. I even shed a thug tear from "you will die being you" Amazing conversation. 🙌🏿🙌🏿
Word..I was here watching something about Kobe and seen something about Angie Martinez interview Derek jeter and I’m like wait, when the hell did Angie get a podcast.
This is BY FAR Joe's best interview I've ever seen. This was fantastic. I knew Joe only gives good interviews when its with someone he truly likes, respects, and reveres but man, GREAT JOB, Angie! You pulled back the layers and made Joe take off his mask and really kick his feet up. I loved the topics.
Great episode. The greatest Joe is the one talking to his real friends. You know when he doesn't respect the person asking him questions. Congrats to both of you
This is the Joe Budden I love to see, when Joe is comfortable wit the interviewer he tells the best stories and give the best advice. This was a Great interview, I learned a lot about Life in General!
@@yungcino I ended up finding it, haha! Thanks though. By the way, what he said was wrong. Kobe did not die holding his daughter, and people really need to stop spreading that fairy-tale version of events. The crash was fast and unexpected.

I just love that Joe, was in a safe space to articulate the corky thoughts that most people aren't honest to admit they have especially about death. I totally understand why he is so fascinated with documentaries now.
This episode changed my outlook on life. When Joe says “you’re going to die being you.” Wow… it does make you work harder at being the best you you can be each day. this was powerful to say the least.
This is the best interview of Joe Budden ever 💯 It's dope him and Angie are actually friends because he Actually answered her questions unlike when everyone else interviews Joe!!! 🤣🤣🤣
Applause to both Angie and Joe for this one. The natural chemistry between these two is amazing. They should have a podcast themselves as a team. Their outlooks on things and how they compliment one another is great.
Angie should have Joe on at the end of every chapter. The chemistry! the conversation! It was truly beautiful how they were able to have such a in-depth and pull so many emotions. Loved it! Great podcast unbelievable episode. Can’t wait for what’s next.
I was thinking the same, this conversation & the way Joe went through his philosophy of the way he views death brought her series full circle. Really enjoyed it. He was perfect for this last episode.
Another freaking amazing episode & Genius to have Joe close the season. I’ve always admired how deep his mind goes but it was dope to hear his vulnerability in this one. Angie just makes everyone feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable 💯
@@Kingkongbigdog well, that was a very mature response. If you watched this interview and got nothing from it, that says more about YOU than Joe. Angie literally opens the episode stating her purpose for this series and the guests she carefully selects. Leave your personal opinions about Joe outside for bit and you just might learn something.
Hi Angie Martinez!, I'm Morris; I live in Jamaica. I've enjoyed your podcast thoroughly so far. I think the theme of the first chapter " we're all going to die" was most fitting because it's something that is inevitable to all humans but only a small fraction of people are either willing are comfortable talking about it. I enjoyed all the episodes that I watched but Lauren London episode resonates with more. I think she's highly intellectual but also very spiritual conscious, mature and very evolved. She's very wise, much beyond her years. This is my humble opinion: I think for the second chapter. The topic" our super powers" I think you could invite Lauren London once more and also Chadwick Boseman's wife and Jay z. Those are my humble suggestions. I'm sincerely hoping you'll get to read my message. I know you have a lot of messages to read.
As a long time fan and follower of Joe.... Going back to maybe 2007 or 2008. His personal growth is something that has been truly amazing to see. Watching this it's hard to believe that's the same human. It's inspiring man.
I loved all the episodes but this last one has to be the best! & Joe definitely should come back for another conversation. He’s very interesting. Great speaker. The way he dissects things is very interesting. The whole way he took the way Nipsey and Kobe passing and the significance of their purpose and how it tied to how they passed is just so good.. so true.. I never thought of death in that way. I love how he respects people and values people especially whether he likes them or not or believes in their ideologies or not. Super dope person. Please have him come back!
Angie telling Joe he might have to carry her through her own pod at the beginning & Joe proceeding to then carry her trough the pod just cements how great a podded she’s is!
This interview has made me look at Joe in a whole different way! What an incredible 1st season! Congratulations Angie and I can’t wait for the next season ❤
Wow! This podcast is that special gift you never knew you needed but now can’t understand how you lived without it! Great job Angie and team!!! Best of luck on next season!
I’m only about 10 mins in but Joe really fucked me up about the clues of one’s death. Now, I thought I got over my fear of death itself and maybe I have but the thought about clues popping up of one’s death is terrifying because I honestly believe that’s true. If I look back on all the people who have passed around me, the clues ARE there. This forces me to literally see my own clues and WOW. 🤯🤯
These episodes are SO, SO, GOOD, Angie! Thank you for your genius and kindness. I’m going to speak with my parents and create legacy videos for my siblings and all of our children 💜
Joe Budden. He the realist & hard core.He has no filter he just says what he feels. So luv how he speaks his mind or his truth. I think that so important. Be the best version of yourself.
This is my favorite episode by far. Joe took my mind where it never been. I had chill with kobe developping that memba mentality not for basketball but holding his daughter in their final moment. May they rest in peace.

Yes, I totally believe that when people pass away they stay with you. I definitely have had moments of clarity for me after my Gram passed when I literally can say or even think 'tell me what to do' or 'I need your help' with a situation that I once thought was impossible to resolve or so difficult to wrap my head around, and I can be still, and sit with it thinking of her... all of sudden it will come to me- overnight. The best compliment I've ever gotten is "you remind me of your Gram". She's still here in me, for sure.❤❤❤❤
Dope to see Joe gain a bigger fanbase based on his brain pattern because those of us who have been fans for the last 20 years just in his music have been trying to tell ppl for years how introspective the guy is. He has his faults and some consider a psychopath, but it comes with the genius characteristics. His music is just as deep. Sometimes I dont think even he k ows how philosophical he can be because for him it's been natural his whole life. Salute to this episode!
