I saw this on cable as a kid. The Video Pirates skit has been stuck in my mind ever since. I have watched dozens of movies from this time period trying to figure out what it was from. For years I thought it was in Time Bandits, but I could never make it through enough of that one to confirm or deny.
This movie was not even on my list as I couldn't think of any reason, I would have watched such a thing. But back when we first got cable sometimes, we would watch whatever caught our eye and the skits in this coming one after another would have definitely been a stop and watch without knowing what the movie was since the only way to know back then if you missed the intro would have been to dig though the T.V. Guide or the television listings in the paper assuming you had access to either.

The very first time that I saw this movie it was 1:30 AM, and our (old style CRT) television was off. I had just woken up; still groggy. I turned on the TV and the picture slowly faded into the opening title of the "Son of the Invisible Man" segment. I sat there and watched the whole thing through to the end before I realized that it was not an actual sequel to the Invisible Man. This was my bewildering introduction to this film.

So, a few points you might've missed (that others MAY have already mentioned):
    1. The man with Michelle Pfeiffer in the Baby scene was her (then) real-life husband Peter Horton (best known for "thirtysomething")
    2. The lady with Steve "gubenab" (Guttenberg) is Roseanna Arquette
    3. The "Siskel & Ebert-esque" critics in the Harvey Pitnik sketch were (AL) Lohman & (Roger) Barkley, a long-running radio duo from LA
    4. The Head Pirate in "Video Pirates" was William Marshall; best known for "Blackula" and also the 2nd actor to play "The King of Cartoons" on Pee Wee's Playhouse
    5. The Man propositioning the "1st Lady of the Evening" was Terry McGovern; AKA "Launchpad McQuack" on the Original DuckTales (...woo-hoo!)
    6. Kinda surprised you missed Ralph Bellamy (AKA Randolph Duke from "Trading Places"/"Coming to America") in the condom sketch...also, the late Kelly Preston as the girlfriend
And I'm sure there's a bunch of other "Wait! I know that Guy's" that you missed, but I still enjoy your enthusiasm watching these movies.

Pointless trivia: "Nessie" is a leftover prop from Larry "Buck" Buchanan's 1981 ultra-cheapie _The Loch Ness Horror._ Whomever kept it must have rebuilt it, because it's a lot more expressive than the original. Somehow, the clothing and the prop's leering eyes make me think of Lee Van Cleef in _The Good, The Bad and the Ugly._
President Lava Lamp was Forrest J. Ackerman, editor of _Famous Monsters of Filmland_ magazine. He did a lot of cameos, usually in tish like _Dracula vs Frankenstein_ and _Future War._
I love _Amazon Women on the Moon_ and it's so good to see you two enjoying it, perhaps even more than I do! It casts its net a _little_ too wide, I think, but the segments that didn't land for me when I was younger are killing me now.

As soon as I saw the thumbnail I thought of Don "No Soul" Simmons singing "Tie a Yellow Ribbon". It's been decades since I've seen this movie.

"Bullshit Or Not" was a parody of Ripley's Believe It Or Not (hosted by Jack Palance) and little nod to In Search Of (hosted by Leonard Nimoy), as well. I like how they kep changing the year Amazon Women On The Moon was made each time they went back to it.

What about Russ Meyer, the king of large breasted women, as the video store clerk? I'd watch anything he recommended (I recently met a guy who knew him!)! And the usher at the funeral was Joe Dante staple Robert Picardo (Gremlins 2, Explorers, etc.), and the bad baby doctor, Griffin Dunne (the rotting corpse Jack, from American Werewolf in London) and all of those great old Borscht Belt comics: Steve Allen, Henny Youngman, Charlie Callas, Rip Taylor, etc., and the great Paul Bartel (the social disease doctor) of Eating Raoul, Death Race 200, etc. So many great comedians! And there are outtakes available!

We still sing Don No Soul Simmons songs to this day!!! Tape recorded this shit off tv with our VCR. It was a slightly different altered for tv version. That playboy model was wearing sexy lingerie (not nude).

If you havent seen it already, I would really recommend checking out Strange Days from 1995 which will be turning 30 next year and is a forgotten masterpiece from Katherine Bigelow and James Cameron, starring Ralph Fiennes, Angela Basset and Juliet Lewis. Its is an incredible movie, but there just aren't that many reactions out there for it so far.

The one spoof you thought was Unsolved Mysteries was actually a series Leonard Nimoy hosted called "In Search Of" that dealt with UFOs, the Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot and every other paranormal conspiracy theory you could name.

If you want to watch an actual movie like "Amazon Women on the Moon" here are a few suggestions... Sci-fi sex comedies are a bit of a thing
    Space Babes from Outer Space
    2069: A Sex Odyssey
Candy Von Dewd and the Girls from Latexploitia
    Andromina: The Pleasure Planet
    Sexmission
Outer Touch/Spaced Out (it has different titles in the US amd UK)
    Barbarella
    Zeta One
Flesh Gordon (this is not a typo) and it's sequel Flesh Gordon Meets the Cosmic Cheerleaders
There's also talks of a remake of Barberella being made by Edgar Wright staring Sydney Sweeney. But we'll need to wait and see how that pans out. A movie isn't made until it's released
