It’s so fun seeing places around where you guys live! Hope to one day make it out to the east coast. That hotel room is so pretty and unique. I’ve never seen anything like it!
Oh I think you'd love it! Before my GI Issues, I was a huge craft beer person and was super excited to finally stay here to support my favorite brewery. They're huge on nature, music, craft and helping small people so that's why the room is unique and different. The company that designed the Inn was from Studio Tack from Brooklyn, NYC. Once the world calms down and if you ever decide to make the trek out here, we would be happy to meet up with you to show you around or even to just have lunch in the surrounding areas. All major cities are 2 hrs away from us. D.C. is gorgeous during the spring with the Cherry Blossoms around the Basin and and NYC has so much history. Philly has yummy foods! ❤️
Classic example of judging a book too harshly by its cover! Seeing the exterior of the Dogfish Inn, my first thought was "Oof - not sure how well I'd sleep on property" 😅But the interior looks great! Certainly worlds above the similarly-shelled Ocean City motels, which is what I expected to see on the interior. Also, the audio clipping isn't too bad! Probably still better audio than you would have gotten without the lapel while standing on the beach. We've yet to invest in a travelling mic because the Osmo Pocket performs pretty well in most instances, but a windy is a whole different story. 😂Great vlog! Happy New Year to all!
Happy New Year to you guys as well. In all honesty, if this inn was not operated by the Dogfish Head brewing company, I think we too would assume the place to be just another beach side motel. But we have been Dogfish Head patrons / fans for 10 years now and trust the company 100%. Thank you for the kind comment about the audio with the mic. We have had it for sometime, but never used it to record audio for a video directly. So to not have a audio read out to see how hot the audio actually was, made mic placement just a blind shot in the dark. I actually just downloaded Filmic Pro (I can see the audio levels and control them), so I am going to try recording with that in the future.
