We're moving there in April from AZ. Coastal Tide Apts. I'm familiar with the area since I'm originally from Baltimore and vacationed in OC and Rehoboth. We had a house in Ocean Pines for 10 years that we sold 2 yrs ago and we're moving back but to Lewes. Love your videos.

I’m in crazy Los Angeles and have been to about ¾ of our country, but never been to the whole Northeast part of our country (other than a layover in Baltimore, so that could’ve been anywhere). I’m highly interested in either DE or PA. BTW, your demeanor reminds me much of myself 👊
I haven’t been to LA, but have been to Anaheim. We are about as different as you can get in all aspects haha

Hi Mat. We currently live in Florida and considering a move back up north. We are very interested in Lewes as possible area for relocation. We are both retired and looking for a 3 bedroom home with that has a basement for where we can build a woodworking shop. I do not want to be in a flood Zone. Hoping to visit this area as soon as practical for us. I also have a 96 year old father in law that would possibly live with use so a separate living space for him would be wonderful.

There is a fair amount of undeveloped land. Other than public parks, is this land potential for development?
Depends on who owns it & who they sell it to. Unless the farm lands are in a land conservation trust, they could be sold to a developer and built on

Are there any other communities live Five Points where you have everything needed within that community?
Not in Lewes, yet. There are plans for something similar with less commercial stuff closer to the beach on Kings Hwy.
The Mi place at the Vineyards has everything. A brand new redners, gas, new stores opening soon, hair salons, a spa, nails, it has a beautiful pool on the lake with a clubhouse fitness room. We are 5 miles to the beach. It's on Rte 9 in Lewes. We live here and love it. A beautiful new well maintained complex.
What grocery stores are located in Lewes, are there any Wholefoods around?
We don’t have a whole foods, we do have a fresh market in Rehoboth. We have a ton of stores though - food lion, redners, Weis, acme, Safeway, IGA

The INN at Canal Square is our absolute favorite in downtown Lewes. We also love Dogfish Inn. If you are looking to be out on Route 1 near more of the shopping, there’s multiple options: Holiday Inn Express, Hampton Inn, etc.

Is this a flood area?
Most of our area is not in a flood zone, but certainly some areas are. It just depends on proximity to water
