    We sincerely apologize for the audio issues with this video. We are not sure what happened with the upload between the Dell and RUclips. Otherwise we hope you enjoyed the tour! The campground is water and electric only. It does have 3 dump stations at the campground exit.

    Great content. I always wondered what the towers were for. We will be checking in at Delaware Seashore SP. tomorrow afternoon. I believe we will take a ride over there and take a look. Thanks for all the info.

    They have since installed another Big Gun on site. It was salvaged from a naval ship They brought it in via the train tracks. The only time I ever saw the tracks ever used in the years I was there.

      D5 Is a big site, however the "camp" side is on the hookup side. Plenty of room though.

    Thanks for the video. I am a landscape photographer. Do you have any must-visit suggestions near or around Cape Henlopen or Rehoboth Beach? Also, is Cape Henlopen good for landscape photography or flying a drone?

      I like the summer sunset on the lighthouse on a low tide. Go out to the great fishing pier and take the shots. Or walk out as far as you can on a low tide and you'll get a shot of the lighthouse and breakwaters. As far as the beaches, they are directly due east so sunrise pics are nice of the Atlantic.

    I'm moving to southern Delaware from Mass. What towns are nice and safe and cute in that southern part of state for renting (then buying. )? I know the coastal town but which perhaps a little more inward?

    • @TheCampoholics
      @TheCampoholics  Год назад

      Look at Milton or Georgetown. Milton seems to be the most reasonable out of the coastal area.

    For an out of towner visiting how does this compare to Fenwick island state park or others as a quiet place to hang out at the beach?

    • @TheCampoholics
      @TheCampoholics  Год назад +2

      This is the place for quiet campground. Fenwick and Delaware Seashore are gonna be a little noisier at the campground. Plus side to Fenwick is OC is the next town south. All three are ocean front so all are gonna be busy on the beach.

    I know it has been a while since you were there but I had a question about parking. If it says online the site length is 40... Are they picking about how you park your vehicle.? We have a 34 ft camper and a longer bed dually. Just trying to lay out plans for next year. Thanks for the input

    • @TheCampoholics
      @TheCampoholics  2 года назад +2

      Hello and thanks for watching! There is not really a whole lot of space to park your vehicle but if I recall we were able to park on our site but we did have a pull thru site. There are several overflow parking areas along each loop in the park so even if you couldn't fit in the site, you are not very far from your vehicle. We didn't encounter any park rangers enforcing much of anything while we were there but it was also early fall. You will enjoy the park, lots of trails and loads of history!

    I am a Delaware native but learned almost all I know about this park from this video. I have been to the Point and up the Tower and to the big beach. My wife and I love the beach in Lewes. We hope to camp here in our T@B teardrop camper. This was a great video introduction.

    Great video tour! I saw you in comments on Steve Turtle's channel.
    I camped with my family at Cape Henlopen in the 70's, and haven't camped there since, but I want to!
    Are the sand fleas there year round? My son and I camped at another campground in Rehoboth a couple years ago, and they were terrible!

    • @TheCampoholics
      @TheCampoholics  3 года назад

      Not sure how they are in the mid summer because we cant get a site due to being booked year round now. I do not hear of any complaints though being from this area. We were there last fall and didn't notice any. Thanks for following along! We leave for full time life April 8th!

    Thanks for the tour! I stayed there in May 2021 at $36 and again in Oct 2021 at $38. Made reservations for April and it's up to $41 now. We have a dog and not liking some of the no pet rules at the park.
