    Is this the same word I sometimes hear repeated 3 or more times when someone is being encouraged to go faster/harder in an athletic event?

      I don't think so. I guess the word you mean is "เร็ว" (reo), which means "fast" or "quick."

      @@IgetThaisbecause the "r" sometimes sounds a bit like a "l" to my ears. I get it!
