    Check the patient( shake , call the patient’s name close to ear)
    Check the palse
    Mouth to mouth 2times
    Check the palse
    ----------
    If there is no response
    Check the patient( shake , call the patient’s name close to ear)
    Check the palse
    Mouth to mouth 2 times
    Chest compression 10 times
    Repeat the cycles until Paramedics comes or victim wakes up

    You know, you end up here for two reasons: 1) you have an emergency (in that case, i dont know why you are reading this, go help the guy!) 2) you walked pass an AED in the airport or mall and became curious "what to do and how you can me prepared in case, when you need to use".

    Does it matter if the person has chest hair? The last training I went to, the trainer mentioned the possibility of having to shave the spots where you’d have to apply the pads.

      Yes chest hair should be removed as otherwise the pads will not be in full contact with the underlying skin. This can result in burns and sparks.

    Does it make a difference that the left sided pad wasn't applied correctly according to the picture drawn on the pad? It should technically be horizontal on the left side.

    What would happen if the user got the pads the wrong way around?

      It may deliver an ineffective shock or won’t deliver shocks properly
