Thank you for the beneficial explanation. I have a few questions. 1. Can we insert it the same way into left nostril, given the tip will be over the nasal septum. 2. Can we insert two nasal airways in a patient to increase oxygen flow (in both right and left nostril at the same time) 3. Can we insert OPA & NPA at the same time. Will it benefit? or harm the patient? Thank you
I have a question, we doing the size of NPA from the nose to the jaw end tip is it the only way? Because my doctor said from the nose to the earlobe. we can use the both or just in this video?
Hi can you clarify the unit for the adult size for Naso which mention in the video? The size indicate the outer diameter or the tube length? Is it in mm/Fr/Ch? Thanks
Definitely not, but they are an important part of an individual trama first aid kit. I have one in my truck kit. My car kit. And my range bag. It could be used to save me. It could be used to save you. We never know.
I’ve had on before when I was having a seizure it isn’t that bad when I woke up it just felt like something was in the back of my throat it’s not painful

The size mentioned is in mm and it refers to the inner diameter of the tube.
Thank you.@@MsEternalpeace
In an emergency, can saliva be used to lube it? Or would that share too many potential germs
Yes. The patient’s saliva can be used (or yours if needed) In an emergency save the patient. Antibiotics can be given for infection.

I don’t think I would ever want one of these. Lol

They are not too bad. Not comfortable but just an annoyance. We trained on each other in the military so I've had this a dozen or so times.
I have a pretty big nose so I’d always be volunteered to do it in the Army. It’s not terrible but definitely not pleasant
