As a hairdresser of 35 years, I'm standing nearly 10 hours a day and my hip broke from osteoporosis without any fall or injury. And as of today, being on a bisphosphonate medication for 4 years I am still at high risk for it to happen again.

I'm sorry you're dealing with this. I was wondering what all you think caused this for you. I appreciate it. Thank you. And hope the medication helps you.

Consider looking into a new technology for building BMD called OsteoStrong. It meets many of these recommendations with significantly more impressive results in just 10 minutes per week. Many PTs are very supportive of the therapy.

From your handle, what is your connection to OsteoStrong? Looks like there could be a conflict of interest to me. People - research first. Lots of fractures and no comprehensive studies with this program.

You can do all the exercise you want. If you don't replace the minerals you lost over your lifespan exercise won't help.

Well, I tick all of 99 percent of them but I was doing weight bearing exercise and hiking and horseback riding. I also took some vitamins but I nursed to sons for a total over over 5 yrs. Suddenly fractured my spine at 62.5 and again 2 vertebrae the second time at 67.5. Now what. I need a weekly diet plan as I am struggling. So many things I cannot eat much of due to being acidic and also having a sensitive pancreas.
