I just saw him on the tour.. the first time I have seen the show too. He is EVAN for me. His acting was amazing.. like HEARTBREAKINGLY AMAZING. I wish he was on the OBC recording.. for me.. it is like PLATT WHO? His voice is so clear.. and I love his placement

No one can ever quite replace Ben Platt as Evan in my heart but I’ll be damned if Stephen didn’t come damn close. That little “He’s come to get me” just melted and broke my heart, and my God, that last verse almost sounds like he’s crying. Now I wanna see his Words Fail!

The more I listen and see his performance, the more I moved by him. He's such a lovely person with a great gift of acting and singing. I always want to see his another project ❤️🌷
I saw this guy at a Saturday matinee in Costa Mesa over a year ago. His presence here gives away he’s passed being 17 as Evan is supposed to be. But he has got a good voice. I wish it was him doing the movie instead of Ben Platt. The song is still beautiful even if out of context.
I just saw him perform the other day, it was beyond amazing. I personally think he did a better job than Platt. He did such an amazing job at representing Evan and he was super nice in person too. He will always be my favorite Evan. ❤️

All the actors who have played Evan are over 17. Hardly any of them look 17, but that doesn't detract from my enjoyment of the show.
