    Ahh yes the GT 730. In 2016 I had an E7500 Core 2 Duo @ 2.93 GHz, 8 GB of DDR2, and a GT 730 with a 500 GB HDD. It was a temporary hold over PC that I used for about a year and I played on a 900p monitor. It actually surprised me. It could handle games through the PS3/Xbox 360 era. I remember playing a lot of Fallout New Vegas and State of Decay. That was pretty much the limit and of course plenty of low resource indie games such as Darkest Dungeon.
    It's my 2nd back up PC these days. My back up PC has an I5 2400 @ 3.1 GHz, 16 GB of DDR3, a GTX 570 1.25 GB, and a 500 GB HDD.

      @@ArdaiThomasInvestments Yeah, at first it wasn't my intention. But as PCs age, the hardware becomes worth very little. I know some stuff becomes collectible if it gets old enough but the PCs I named aren't there yet.

      @@Jaindike genuinely all that's been needed up until this point. My own setup is the same or it would have been if I hadn't wrecked the socket on my last build and given my nephew mine instead. I'll buy another motherboard next month normally around a tenner. My son uses a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB DDR4, RX 580 combo but for the rest of us playing a load of eSports the K620 is all we need - zero card failures and we have five K620s.

    K620's are nowhere to be found locally and the cheepest is $50 cad shipped on ebay + tax. Due to our expensive shipping our floor for non local deals is much higher. 7770's can be had for $40 but locally midrange kepler is in that pricerange. Although kepler has its issues.
    For $50 there is a 7790 that supports dx fl 12.

    • @Jaindike
      @Jaindike  Год назад

      By the sound of your graphics card availability, that 7790 isn't a bad deal. But if you could get a 7950 for about $20 more, I think that'd be a better option. The lack of reasonable k620 prices is a shame though

      @andrewmcewan9145 Год назад

      @@Jaindike Yea thats true, a 7970 would be a huge upgrade from a 7770. The bottom of the market doesn't exzist here. But mid range is normal rx 4/57/8s 8gb can be hac for arround $100 cad pritty often and 1070/1660s for

    NVS315 is hot garbage as it's essentially an underclocked GT610. Take a GT430, chop it in half and you'll be left with two GT610s.
    I wouldn't have put the legendary 8800GT and the 9800GTX+ "below" the NVS315. That's just sacrilege in the biblical sense!
    Sure, these cards are DX10 only, but I can't think of a single DX11 game that will run at 720p 60FPS on the NVS315. That's just not going to happen.
