Would you get a size small of this was your bike? How tall are you? Also one tip i have learned regarding hand position is to keep bar roll relatively forward to make weighting the front tire easier but make the brake position near horizontal so you dont pull your weight forward on descents while you are trying to simultaneously mantain brake control. You get best of both worlds.
I’m 175cm. I could go either way I think. I’d get a small and run the reach adjustment at 460mm, or I could get away with a large with the reach adjustment at the shortest setting of 475
What tyre pressures do you run? Not sure what I should run on my levo. It’s got 2.6 tyres. I’ll be going to 2.5. I currently run 22f and 28r. 75kg maybe a bit more with gear on
Depends on the tyres, but on the maxxis 29ers I like 22 up front and 26 rear. 21 and 25 for stiffer tyres, the new EXO plus tyres I run at 23 up front because they are more supple than the old ones and feel a little squishy at 22
By the end of the test I was trusting it and having a good time on it. But in the past testing it on off camber trails and hardpack flat turns, the edge is not there for me. And it felt like it fights me when leaning the bike versus a dhr2 or a 2.5 Aggressor.
@@cunning-stunt i’ve done a lap on a kryptotal enduro soft up front but thats it so far. Initial impressions; the tread pattern is excellent all the way across and felt like maybe it can give you a touch more lean angle than the assegai before it lets go. (Very similar tread pattern to the assegai) But the soft compound is not soft at all, it feels quite hard, closer to a 60a than a Maxx Terra. I’ll try the one I have here, and try to get on super soft compound to see how that feels
I found coming from a DHR to Dissector you had to be more aware of the Dissector letting go way quicker. Currently running Spec butchers front and rear in gravity casing and love them for dry and dusty 🤘

Not a fan of the dissector on the rear mate?
