During try guys history, Ned was painted as the lead guy, the leader of the group and the one that made things happen so it’s amazing to me that now with all that’s happening, everyone is getting to see that Zach is and was all along the one, he is the moment, the heart of the try guys
Couldn’t stop smiling seeing Eugene’s step dad smile so big during his performance and taking videos/pictures. You could tell how proud he was of him. Now after his passing, I’m so glad Eugene has this footage to cherish.
That was exactly my thought. I immediately fell in love with that man's smile. He was so happy and proud of Eugene. I was very sad to learn of his passing at the end of the movie. My most sincere condolences to Eugene and his family on the loss of their loved one, SungYong Cho.
I thought that was very touching. I was so pleased that Eugene has him as a stepfather. He seems like a very gentle and kind man. Eugene seems to still have a lot of pain in regards to his childhood and I think he still needs a loving father. His mom is just wonderful. When she said that Eugene was the most creative person in the world and it was obvious that she was sincere I just wished I could give her a big hug
Watching this after Ned's colossal fuckup and departure is painful and heartbreaking. The Try Guys created something really special with their depictions of nontoxic masculinity and queer representation. I'll always be grateful for that. I hope the other three can heal and find a way forward to keep making amazing things and inspiring people.
Like you, I am watching this after all the Ned drama of cheating. I agree it is weird watching this after Ned has been removed from the Try Guys. I hope the other three can move forward and escape the drama Ned's cheating scandal. How sad for years; he has been portraying himself as a "wife guy." I feel sorry not only for his kids, the other guys, and most of all, his wife Ariel, who, let me add, has removed their wife from her Instagram profile. I know that the other guys will be able to move forward from the drama concerning Ned. I hope the guys can be in the spotlight for something unique they have done, not for all the Ned drama videos other creators have created.
1:14:25 The unintentional foreshadowing of Zach saying that "we often say that we're not friends anymore, we are brothers." While the camera pans down to show him wearing a Jonas Brothers t-shirt, a group of just 3.
😓 one day when it's not so fresh it'll be easier. There are still 3 that have done a excellent job of holding this together I almost cried again watching the what's next video there laughing and smiling again in a video filmed in real time.
What I learned from this video is Zach is the head of the try guys he works so hard in the back and so smart, Eugene inspires people and Keith brings them joy and laughs. I stand for the three of you guys ❤️ keep strong we all got you 💓💓
Yeah…Zach is def the leader shouldering most of the weight with his performance and production skills…I used to think it was Ned but it wasn’t…it was really Zach
@@ngmblue no people are just taking tweets, anonymous tweets, as facts. People don't have the full story so they're believing everything that is posted. There's no proof but people are still believing it anyways
I’m glad that Eugene posted his video onto the try guys RUclips and not somewhere else. I feel like it reached a bigger audience and also by posting it from the try guys it made it feel like it was something supported by the whole company and something bigger
Like the try guys covered in this documentary, Eugene seems to believe being a RUclipsr is “less than.” And, is inferior to other types of media such as major movie studios, theater, etc. I hope his viewpoint has evolved.
I do wonder where else he would have posted it. Like, he doesn't have his own channel, it wouldn't have been picked up by Netflix or anything at that stage in their company, TV is a dying media. Where else could it have gone? x
This was such a moving documentary. The authenticity and vulnerability of the try guys is truly moving. And, seeing Eugene perform in front of his mom and step dad gave me goosebumps. The amount of courage and acceptance of self that took is inspirational.
@@ivyarianrhod But I loved how supportive his stepdad seemed! Every shot of him showed him clapping, smiling, and taking pictures 🥹 His mom did seem more open and supportive in the end, seemed very proud calling him a creative genius.
The debacle about Ariel and Maggie in the video is so raw- I’m actually amazed they allowed the conversation to be recorded and shared. It made me respect them even more to see how they conversed very clearly and rationally with one another
It really was a masterclass in disagreeing about something and still treating the other person with respect and love while still feeling passionate about your position
I actually came to watch this because of that, and in light of the recent crap that happened with Ned. I'd heard from some internet random that this particular thing painted Ned in a horrible light - but it really doesn't, and I don't understand why they interpreted it that way. He was understandably upset, because his project he worked hard on was unilaterally taken down by another member of the team without even discussing it. Keith was mad, too, and it wasn't even really his video. Like I know Ned's done some bad stuff recently - but this particular example has nothing to do with that.
@@LordofFullmetal Its the way that Keith is mad about the lack of discussion on the topic, Ned is just mad because HIS project was touched, and how DARE Zach put Maggie above Try Guys, and it doesn't even matter because everyone hates Ariel anyways..
The part when Eugene called his sister to announce this huge life accomplishment and they reacted with a “oh, good for you I guess” sort of reaction hit me so hard. So many of us have always longed for that approval of our siblings and parents and nothing we do will ever be celebrated in the way we want it to be. Eugene, I’m sorry your family was not BLOWN AWAY by your absolutely amazing accomplishments as an LGBT activist and as an Asian American man. All of you are amazing and deserve recognition. Kudos you guys 👏
Some people don't show the range of emotion they actually feel. For some, it takes time to sink in. For others, they have to actively process that information later on. I have a 1-10 range of emotion like everyone else but outwardly only show 3-8. I also have to process things later on. My brother quit his job and became a preschool teacher. It took me months to tell him I was proud of him for following a passion and I did it in a note with a gift. Eugene's family is very reserved. I'd guess they were blown away but just don't show it they way society thinks they should.
This is less well articulated than the other comments responding to this one. But the point of the matter is: Eugene’s sister’s lack-luster response(although can be viewed as genuine distaste/ uninterested/jealousy) was actually just banter. She’s actually SO VERY proud of him.. the same way he acted as it wasn’t a big deal, she responded in kind, and gave him a bit of a sarcastic pinch.. He explains that this is their regular banter in vids(and their book).. I’m happy he has her approval; as insincere as it comes off.😅😅❤️❤️❤️
For real i accomplish so much and my family doesn’t give me the proper validation. That’s why i don’t share my goals and plans anymore. People can watch my stories and stay jealous then. But i admit it hurts…
This whole thing was moving but Zach saying he started this because he wanted people to like him really hurt my heart. I hope he knows how loved and cherished he is by many.
Every time they showed a shot of Mr. Cho in the audience, he had the biggest smile on his face. It felt like he was so proud of Eugene. Obviously it's been a couple years since his passing, but I hope Min and the family are doing okay. He seemed like a lovely man.
The level of respect I have for Zach was already pretty high but now it's easily increased tenfold. Most of the greatest try guys moments were because he was back there pushing them to happen. That's a gift
So let me get this straight. Ned's future/alternative plan was to get into lifestyle and home design which revolves around and is completely based on his wife's talent and literal profession - and on top of everything else, he still completely devalued her and their relationship. Good thing he has a science degree from Yale because he's fucked any chance of staying in entertainment.
Honestly, yeah. That's part of why his tantrum at Zach over the Try DIY video backlash they showed in the movie really bothered me. The way he talked it was as if he did ALL of it... when his wife is the interior designer who lays out 99% of the vision for their clients/friends. Never "my and my wife's project", no "Ariel & I worked hard on that", no... just "MY project." Like sir... you might have pitched the idea and paid for it yourself, but your WIFE did the rest.
I'm afraid he and Ariel will still try to do this and use the controversy to get more watches. I hope she's safe and strong enough to leave him bc without her he's nothing and she could build a brand just by herself
Hope she sees her worth and finds a partner to truly love and respect her. She deserves soo much better. How are you going to make a video where you say you want a lifestyle channel and simultaneously let the internet disrespect your wife for profit?? The red flags were there but we thought it was because red rhymes with Ned
Such appreciation for Zach for all he puts in behind the scenes. When I watched this a while back, my first thoughts were “wow. the Try Guys still existing is largely part to Zach.” Everyone had their own endeavors they wanted to explore and it seems like Zach was a major part in keeping them together while also having different avenues. So thank you for being so passionate about this company and fighting for it! Love you all and everything you do and stand for♥️ Edit: Please note I am in no way saying they put in any less effort. I am merely saying how based on this documentary, I gained an appreciation for how passionate Zach was about the Try Guys becoming something bigger. Please don’t negate the hard work everyone else put in!
Yeah go back to the first stuff they did on the channel. Zack and Keith did like 95% of everythinggggg. In front and behind the camera. So thankful for them
Couldn't agree more! So thankful for Zach pushing so hard to keep everyone together and everything still going, very often without anyone even realising
@@riverwing7497 Yes and no - they are all very up front about the fact that Ned was dealing with a newborn who arrived four weeks ahead of schedule and Eugene was out of state working on other projects. It wasn't that they were abandoning things - they all knew what was happening then, and it was unavoidable. But they did keep things running early on. And now all these years later, they appear to have found better balances of their personal projects and Try Guys and all have other things going on - some with the company, some outside. And it's allowed them to expand the Try Fam in a wonderful, diverse way.
I’m glad that Eugene didn’t leave the group. I’d much rather him be in less videos and split his time with his solo projects and Try Guys than him completely leaving.
@@mollymiller3720 100%, it would be like when lee newton was forcefully kicked out of the valleyfolk. that channel has awful views and the content is bad now. it needed lee, elliot, joe, and steve
If he left I’d completely stop watching the videos because he’s my absolute favorite and it’s not the same without him even the handful of videos where he’s gone aren’t the same
zach is just so….. inspiring? the ability to be so raw and real with himself and with us, his acceptance that people will never fully see his complete genius potential that is all his behind the scenes work and will just see his arguably kinda dumb internet persona, all his struggle with mental AND physical health, and yet he still smiles and gives us his 100% every time. i was tearing up when he talked about his past and his struggles and then when he got the news that he got a standing ovation. he’s such a humble person and just a genuinely nice human being. i love all the guys and they deserve everything and so much more but right now i just wanna specifically say thank you for just existing and being yourself zach, you’re so loved by your fans ❤️
This comment needs more likes!! We see you Zach, thank you for being yourself and so vulnerable through all of your joy, and your struggles. You are appreciated and loved by so many!!
I think Zack is cool, not because he’s goofy or funny, I think he’s real asf and he puts so much effort into everything he does, we all have our habits from childhood but his childhood does not define him. He’s overcome so much and he’s still such a strong kind and passionate person. I hope he knows that we all see his value and we don’t see him as a “man child” we see him as inspiring, upbeat and like he said, FUN. Underrated member! 😊
Hearing Keith talk about how he struggles with feeling like he’s not lifting everyone up all at once equally and how that effects him was so relatable. I am similar in that aspect, feeling like if I can’t always give all of myself to everyone all the time then I’m doing something wrong. Whether it’s work friends, family, school friends, close friends, etc. I hope that Keith takes some time for himself and realizes that you don’t always have to give give give to everyone else for your happiness, performance or otherwise. It’s okay to just give to yourself.
Hearing Zach and Ned arguing about whether the DIY video should have been taken down to protect Maggie and Ariel hits even harder knowing what we do now. I thought Zach did the right thing before and I feel even more sure now. Good on him for protecting his loved ones above all else.
I agree,Zachary was only thinking about his loved one but Ned was thinking about his own project and time he himself put into it and not how it could be effecting his wife
Eugene and Keith are more understanding and gave validation to Zach’s point. Eugene explained in such a way that yeah you’re hurt but that’s a bit immature to give in to BS trolls by taking it down immediately. But hey, that video was cool! ❤
I remember when the Try Guys came to Singapore, everything was going so great but suddenly there was major technical problems during Eugene's segment and his sound went out. Eugene just started power posing and everyone was cheering and shouting encouragements at him.
Oh yes I remembered feeling so upset for him because I know how much effort they had put in this and the video and audio kept failing. But he pulled it off perfectly 💜💜💜💜
Zack deserves to be respected by his Try brothers as much as the audience who loves him. Because of his kind and tender heart. He has proven constant support of them it sucks they don't do that often for him.
Mary Allison Tbh you don’t really know how much they support or not support unless you actually know them personally … I didn’t know how much Zach was there for Eugene during all his struggles, until Eugene started speaking about it continuously in multiple videos and constantly shows his respect and gratefulness for Zach
I remember the days when Ned used to talk about wanting a kid, I remember the first time Zach talked about having a chronic illness, I remember Keith announcing his wedding, I remember Zach struggling with loneliness and self-love and I remember when Eugene brought his dad to a video and then his mom and when he came out I fkn cried and I remember watching and loving their first video in 2014 and I'm emotional now
Just for the record, I was at the LA show, I had no idea it was their first performance, and it was honestly one of the best nights of my life. The energy in the crowd was infectious and I don’t think I’ve ever screamed so hard for anything else. My voice was completely gone the next day. It was just an amazing night, I’ll never forget it :)
It's odd how the fans thought of themselves as "protecting" or "defending" Zach but ultimately were tearing him and Ned down by attacking their loved ones. Like do they think the Try Guys have no part in reviewing and setting up their own videos?! That they don't know who their friends and partners are? Ridiculous. I've been watching this documentary in pieces and it's given me so much added appreciation for each of them and what they bring to their work.
Parasocial relationships are a bitch. Lots of people think just because they 'like' and 'follow' these guys they know them. And they form emotional attachments to who they think they are.
@@Chibbykins Try Guys seem to attract viewers whose need for lecturing and advocacy exceeds their love for humor. After all, Try Guys make entertainment which has its own constraints, especially in terms of fair representation of people. Being slightly offensive or hurtful towards someone is one of the core elements of almost any humor that is not overtly childish or overtly intellectual (i.e., humor that has mass appeal). The fact that Try Guys are willing to make themselves the butt of the joke, instead of bashing outsiders, should indicate what their core values are. But despite this, some of the viewers feel the need to lecture Try Guys for every little thing that can be seen as "offensive". It makes me understand why many youtubers decide to be offensive from the get go and attract people who don't care about fairness or social advocacy. You can't win with viewers that are in a fight against the world.
1:11:00 The audacity of Ned to moralize and berate Zach for trying to shield his girlfriend, gaslighting him into thinking his protective instincts were unnacceptable. Maybe if Ned gave as much of a shit about Ariel as Zach did about Maggie, he wouldn't be in the mess he's in now.
@@mary02fairy I think the real eye opener here is that it was 100% not his priority. Like I do think Ned 'loves' Ariel (as much as one can while trashing their relationship) and it would bother him that people were dragging her, but her pain was simply not enough for him to sacrifice his project, and that says a LOT about him. She is not his priority. His own ego, accolades and pleasure are his priority. She comes second and the affair is just more evidence of that. Poor Ariel.
I think you're reading too much into it. He and Ariel put months of work into the video and the comments weren't 100% negative, they were mixed. For one of the guys to delete a video without consulting the others first IS unacceptable, since it affects the others. Nothing to do with not caring about Ariel.
I didn't know as much about Zach's work before this. It was neat to see his behind the scenes "glue" type work holding everything together. He seemed very afraid of the others leaving to do other ventures, but I think his own skills are worthy and important too, and would be valuable even if the company changed structure
it really makes me happy that they’re actually best friends. like they were pushed together on buzzfeed, but the past 4 years together have been all their own doing. them being so different creative wise but still such good friends is what makes the content amazing!
Eugene’s discussion around the pressure he felt being gay and Asian in the filming world, along with the caution putting his coming out video on the try guys channel had me crying. Especially around how much support he feels from the rest of the group although they cannot understand his journey and his art completely. Thank you Eugene for being that representation and taking so much time thinking about your media presence. All of the guys are so fucking inspirational for kids who feel so alone and different. Thank you for being you guys.
The most recent TryPod episode made me realize that Keith, Zach, and Eugene are going to be just fine. I’m looking forward to supporting them on their new journey.
This ended up being more emotional than I expected? The quote, “we’ve been their friends for 5 years…” really hit home. I’ve watched you guys since Buzzfeed days and you and your families do feel like friends. Thank you for giving us all things to laugh about, learn about, and feel about. Also… the production on this is stunningly beautiful.
I’m so surprised to learn that Ariel and Maggie got hate after the Try DIY video. I have always seen them both as loving, funny, smart, capable, supportive people and great partners to Ned and Zach, respectively. I’m so sorry that some fans didn’t see that and made such negative comments about them. I hope very much that that is always the minority that voices anything like that. Neither of them deserve that kind of hate. It is a privilege to get to see them in more content now and I hope that they both feel as though they’re still also able to keep the boundaries that keep them comfortable in living the lives they want to lead. This also, of course, all applies to Becky and Matt, as well as Wes and Finn for their parts in the Try Guys videos, and the rest of the company. You all give of yourselves to us and that is a real gift. For anyone to act otherwise is out of line and wrong in every way. Thank you all, Second Try, and your families, for all that you do.
And also, just for the record - it’s none of our damn business. If Ned loves and feels supported by Ariel - that’s what matters. If Zach loves and feels supported by Maggie, then that’s the bottom line. No commenter knows everything about their relationships, nor should we, and so we have no right to say anything negative about them.
I was also suprised watching this part, I did not know this. It is horrible and the conflict that followed. Some people are just awful for even putting that in the comments. Why would you do that?
"It's weird to know...that you did something wrong, but also know that the reason you did it was right." Relatable as heck. I've been the Zach and the Maggie and the friend in this situation. Friendships and relationships and life are nuanced and the ones who stick together are the best balancers of those nuances, I think.
The irony of all the people that trashed Ariel and Maggie in support of Zach, only ended up hurting Zach more! When Ariel used the word "weird" to describe Zachs stuff and himself, is a word that HE used himself! The situation was very unfortunate and could have been handled better on all sides!
@@madisongriffith7763 I don't think they were talking about his emotions being an overreaction, I think they meant his decision to remove the video without any discussion was an overreaction. Which it was. It was unprofessional and wrong and he knew that, but everything he was feeling when he did it was totally valid.
@@rinesserin I agree with you, the videos are the property of ALL of them! One person does not have the authority to make that kind of decision, without consulting the other 3!
Just because something is in the internet, most people think that they have the right to assume they know better about these people's lives when they're just a viewer. They may have the power to give clout but to assume they know better than people who ACTUALLY know each other is just WILD. I bet you they wouldn't be able to say those things in these guys' faces.
Watching this, I realized how much of a superstar Zach is- he does a lot of things behind the scenes that helps improve the videos (pep talks, improvements, criticism, etc)
I’m a 40 year old female lawyer, wife, twin mom, and disabled person in Texas, and I’ve been a fan since the beginning… your demographic is SO much larger than you can imagine. I can see so much of myself in each one of you. Don’t EVER stop. You INSPIRE on a level that is unparalleled and special. Sending sooooo much love to all of the Try Guys, their partners, and all of the team behind them!!!! 🙏🏻💞
Same her! Mom of 2 from Argentina, former make up artist, but, after some time in quarentine decide to go full on my dreams and try to be a pastry chef. 45 yo and keep on trying!
yes!! when they were told their audience was kids i was just staring like 😳 because I'm 32 and I've been a fan since the buzzfeed days. I love them all so very much and would definitely freak out if i ever met them haha
If there is one unsung hero in the try guys its Zack! The amount love he has for these guys, the sacrifices and additional workload he took for this passion project is truly inspiring. A true friend, companion and human being.
One of the reasons that I love Zach is BECAUSE his past and the fact that he can talk so amazingly about it! He knows how to put things in words, and perspective so that it’s easier to understand for people who doesn’t know what it’s like
The part where Zach said he did the wrong thing with taking the DIY video down but did it for the right reasons made me cry. I commend him so for standing up for Maggie. Proud of you Zach.
I'm glad you included the negative comments part on the documentary. Its important for people (even me included) to realize how comments affect content creators and their lives. For viewers it might be a passing comment, but for you guys its huge. Thanks for being so honest about it
This!! I will admit I've been one to leave slightly snarky comments on creators posts (not Try Guys) thinking it was funny or to get a ride out of them..I never really seen from their perspective. Try Guys have literally taught me SO MUCH about myself 🥰
And it's so cruel to do it when it comes to commenting negatively about their families and loved ones, they are putting themselves out there in a different way. The Try Partners are so incredibly supportive of the guys, they are lovely people... and Maggie and Ariel are such thoughtful women, they didn't deserve what they got. Huge no no messing with them like that
I also appreciated them showing how they worked through the dispute about that video having been taken down. It’s displays a healthy way to resolve differences.
I really hope Zach gets to make the films he wants to make. 🎥 For Keith to perform on every stage he wants to perform in. 🎭 And for Eugene to do whatever he wants to do because we all know he can do just about anything. ⚡
I keep coming back to 56:40 with Zach's perspective on what it means to be a RUclipsr, played over Eugene's internet breaking coming-out video. I really feel like Zach's biggest strength is that he has such a zoomed out understanding of internet culture. I feel like he's really tapped into what consumption on this scale means, not just as numbers on a screen, but the magnitude of this kind of human connection. Like the others want to compartmentalize, and Zach sees it all in an Everything Everywhere All At Once kind of way.
The part where they were arguing about a video being taken down without the other guys knowing actually made me tear up. idk, it's just the fact that such a beautiful, and I guess "perfect" friendship experiences stuff like that doesn't make them any less perfect. It's so realistic, healthy, and actually makes me feel validated. Thank you for showing this side of you guys to us. 💙❤️💚💜
This is a great documentary. It gives us such a vulnerable insight of what they went through. Seeing Eugene's vulnerable moments of his mother coming to see the show and Zach figuring out how to navigate having his partner on the internet is eye opening to all of us. These are people. These are humans. They have fun and make us laugh, but they get hurt and argue and cry. And they get through it.
What i love most about the Try Guys is their willingness to be examples of the right kind of masculinity. Their honesty in showing emotion to camera without being worried about coming across as weak are the kind of role models we need.
In addition to this, I also really love how they walk around in their underwear while being completely relaxed and comfortable. None of them have the stereotypical "hot masculine guy" body, yet they're completely fine with showing off their bodies for all of the internet to see!
I've cried watching this now more than I did the first time. It's so much more than an affair. Not only was a family ruined, but a brotherhood. Brothers that we've watched grow since 2014. My heart is broken for all of them right now, and I hope for nothing but healing for the guys, their significant others, the people working for them, and the company itself.
Eugene's mother and step father gushing over his performance in the tour had me in tears. His mother explaining how she would gladly suffer in order for Eugene to be happy is everything a parent should be. This was so beautiful to see!
Maybe it’s just me, but the ONLY people who did anything wrong in this situation were the fans commenting hateful things. Why people always feel the need to tear others down is beyond me. You can dislike someone’s video without commenting awful things about them, their family, or their friends. It’s that simple. Anyway, love this documentary and been a Try Guys fan since the beginning. Thanks for sharing your world with us all 💙💗💚💜
Maggie and Ariel should not have been "written" as misogynistic tropes tho. Like people were horrible to them but the writing team was so obviously ignorant of what it means to be a "visible" woman on the internet and they should not have been.
The try guys gals I'll come across as very strong and intelligent women. They are extremely talented business women in their own right and often this is misunderstood by uninformed people. It's ridiculous that these confused fans think they are defending Zack from the person that he loves the most in the world. Not even thinking how he would be affected by this. Look at what the outcome was it devastated the woman that he loved and caused the separation although temporary between him and his try Guy Brothers. I'm sure all of these foolish people feel Justified still in the things they said.
@@drawingsticks5333 This part. It was the way the videos were constructed, edited, put together that made them appear to be controlling and condemning. Zach kind of acknowledges that in this movie: it wasn't that the women did anything wrong, but that they were portrayed a certain way.
It's weird to me that during the argument about the video being taken down, that Ned had little sympathy for people bullying his wife...foreshadowing to his actual character I guess. I think we would ALL want a partner like Zach, who would remove a video where somebody he loves is getting hatred they didn't ask for.
When Keith was talking about how it is actually impossible to lift everyone up and please everyone in his life at once, it really hit me deep. I have divorced manipulative narcissistic parents and I grew up having to constantly please both of them to get by. It has taken me years and years and years to break those habits and constantly feel the need to please everyone. It takes so much life energy to give everything you have to everyone else. Keith is so good at making sure everyone else is ok and supported and loved- he is a true performer, like me and like so many others, and sometimes it helps just to get a positive comment telling you that I relate, and I go through similar struggles... I guess I just want to let you know if you're reading this that I really admire and support you and I think you're a really wonderful person and I don't know if you get enough people telling you that... so yeah :)
This was intense AF. You guys continue to push the boundary of vulnerability and relatabilty. The more human you are, the more I respect you. It takes guts to do that in an age where people are literally just waiting in the wings to talk s%$t about you.
I'm moved to tears by Min's support of her son. His art. His talent. And his happiness. Thank you, Eugene. For really hitting home the fact that art has the power to move people. Please know your creative expression has moved me as I'm sure it has countless others around the world. Much love.
it is so special eugene has these clips of his mom (and step dad) saying such beautiful things he deserves to hear about himself. love that for him. he is simply phenomenal.
I agree with Zach's explanation of why Eugene should be proud of putting his coming out video onto the Try Guy's platform. The most charming thing about their channel is that they all have their own honest videos about their real lives. It's in the video Keith made about making a miniature golf course for Becky, and Zach's video about his disability and ankylosing spondylitis, and Ned's video about his family. It's nice to relate to someone. It feels cathartic in alot of ways. I think releasing literal art like Eugene's coming out video is incredibly important for that platform, and especially for people who would never have the opportunity to see art like this in their real life, for whatever reason.
“I don’t know, I just cried a lot” -Keith Me, crying with tears streaming down my face, every time there was a section of Eugene talking about being gay and his thoughts, feelings, and emotions (three times I cried because of Eugene)
There are not enough words to express how grateful I am to be able to watch Behind The Try. I was a fan since the 7th grade and now I have graduated as class of 2022, you four felt like a comforting group of role models that made me and many others realize that it's okay to be silly, aim for your passions, and be apart of the LGBTQ+ community. Each one of you are the reasons why so many of us feel impacted behind our screens. I felt like I got to grow with you guys over time and it just brings me tears of joy to see you guys be successful now and be able to celebrate four years of your channel. You guys deserve it and I am not sure if you'll see my comment. However, as a dorky asexual, thank you guys for making me feel safe to be myself!
This made me cry happy-ish tears!!! (Ish because everyone should feel secure in being themselves and finding joy anywhere possible) Congratulations on your graduation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have a 5th and kindergartner, and I can only imagine what your school years have been like.
ariel designing their office towards the end reminded how integral she is to the try guys family. and the fight over they diy video? zach saying he needed to prioritize his loved one, and then saying that the guys are brothers. ned really hurt his family, and the family he created with the guys.
The first and last chapter for Ned . I’ve been watching this channel for four years now and I just want to say I’m in utter shock that the try guys fell apart like this. The three guys continuing without him seems like the best move.
The way they've expanded in recent years to include other creators is really going to help them recover. Having Kwesi and others fill in has become pretty normal, to the point that sometimes I don't notice when one of the guys is missing. I think they'll recover from this, and weirdly, probably come back even stronger because of the media sensation this scandal has caused.
Agree. It won’t be much of a loss without Ned. He never really solidified a personality or space on the channel. Aside from being the married white guy with kids.
They didn't fall apart. One guy fell apart, one red-haired, married member in particular... made a really bad decision and made everyone else look bad.
Right!! They need to carry on and move forward. And not let Neds poor judgement and cheating. Ruin their legacy. And by not continuing making videos and doing their projects would let win.
I cried, I have a trans girl and I can’t imagine Eugene’s pain. Loving my daughter is the easiest thing I’ve ever done. I’m glad your mom supports you, Eugene. She’s such a mama “I would suffer myself for my children”
I needed this reminder of support today. I had a call with my daughter school and the principal kept saying “he” I finally got assertive and said “I told you her correct pronoun is she. Stop saying it wrong” she did correct it but still….
What is so precious and extraordinary about this group is that they aren't willing to compromise who they are, their creative ambitions and perspectives just for the sake of 'being a group'. And doing that not only highlights each of their qualities, it inadvertently makes the group even stronger, more endearing and REAL. Honest, intentional collaboration. Nobody is doing it like them!!!!
If anyone doesn't know, Eugene produced a movie about the abuse of Korean women during World War 2, the movie is called Comfort Girls if you want to watch, I think that's what he's referring to when he first left Buzzfeed, and it's the scene with the girls with the fans!
Zach, I’m sorry I didn’t realize how much you contribute behind the scenes. I’ve battled depression since childhood (now in my mid-30s) and have been struggling with my health the last few years. You make me feel like I can get through this. Keith, your love and talent for music and performing are inspiring. You make me want to recommit to performance and immerse myself in music again. Your musicality is just… beautiful. You have been an incredible source of comfort and joy in good times and bad. Eugene, you’ve had a huge impact on the LGBTQIA+ and AAPI communities. You’ve absolutely helped create space for others. You absolutely deserve a place in the spotlight and should be so proud of all of your many accomplishments. Also, your coming out video _still_ makes me weep. You guys will probably never read this drop in the ocean of comments. But if you do, then I wanted to say thank you. You’re whole, real people with the right to keep things to yourself. Thank you for sharing parts of yourselves and lives with us.
"For his happiness, I would suffer myself." 1:30:38 Every family has their issues to go through. But that is the most distilled version of what it is to be a mother I've ever heard. Congratulations to all of you. Ned, may fatherhood lead to more happiness than you could or your wife could ever imagine. Keith, may you and your wife continue creating and finding love in all of life's small corners. Zach, whether you know it or not you've given a voice to depression, to many, a tool to battle against it, you are far more capable than you may ever think. And to Eugene, keep on being your authentic self, it is what so many people look for. Thank you all, for being a voice, an ally, and a relief. Good luck in everything Try Guys.
I love Zach more and more for every piece of himself that he’s vulnerable enough to share with us. he doesn’t need to be creative. he doesn’t need to be funny. he, inherently, is the heart and soul of the try guys and is by far the most relatable one to me. Zach, I hope you know that you don’t have to be productive or creative to be worthy of love. you just get to be you
I’m a fan of Mr Cho. He looked like he was having fun the whole time and was proud of what Eugene has curated. His mom still looked uncomfortable though I’m sure she too has come a long way. And I loved that she said she hasn’t met anyone more artistic and talented than her own son-I felt like she wasn’t saying that as a mom in the way that all moms think that about their kids, but she said it just as a spectator and that means so much more. I’m a fan!
I’m nervous for how they will go forward but will WHOLE heartedly be there to support them. I’m saddened by the poor choices Ned made (he was one of my favorites) but the others also have so much to offer too that I’m looking forward to see what they have for the future.
Yes. I support Eugene, Keith and Zach 100% with their future endeavours but I am sad there will be no more Full Throttle Fulmer thanks to his love of bad ideas.
Well, I guess this was the last of his bad ideas. It was definitely a HUGE one to go out on. I'll definitely miss everything but I'm glad that those two didn't hurt anyone or anything else more than they've already have. There's a part of me still hoping that maybe it was all just for a video, really.
Not in the slightest. Like people have been saying for weeks now, I'm glad Ned is gone. He's always just creeped me out, made me cringe, made weird comments, he makes comments to Ariel that piss me off. I'd always just be rolling my eyes during his part in videos, so, I'm really really excited to see where the true try guys are going to go now :)) They're all incredible people.
Tbh Ned didn't contribute much to the group except for acting like a prepubescent middle school boy. I'm looking forward to the new era of the Try Guys 😊
Seeing Ned's proud smile on his face as he runs out to wave a flag for Eugene is so powerful !! And then of course, Keith and Zach running out too! It makes me so so happy that Eugene has support and love pouring into his life now from all these different places ☺️
the fact this isn't viral is so strange to me. It's literally like a whole movie with so much humour, vulnerability and inspiring individual looks into each part of this amazing self built company. Idk i just feel like it deserves more love lol
Why would it be viral? It's a pretty niche subject that the average person wouldn't tune into for 2 hours. Almost a million views is pretty good considering most youtube channels only have 10% active subs.
I've noticed that this comment section misses some Keith love, so Keith: you're amazing! Your personality is awesome, your humour is too, and I think I can speak for everyone if I say that we're all so proud of you :)
Eugene! You 👏 are 👏 not 👏 responsible 👏 for representing 👏 communities 👏 of BILLIONS 👏 of people. That stress to be a “model minority” is so detrimental, not just to yourself, but to others who are in similar situations. We love you, and I think I speak for most Queer Try Guys fans when I say: we just want you to do you. The moments that inspired me the most, were when you laid down some guards and talked about how your mother was in denial. I can relate to it and I just want you to know that we support you- model or not.
So well said! I found myself many times throughout the years of more behind the scenes videos, and in this documentary, worrying about the amount of mental and emotional pressure, Eugene puts on himself. I get it....of course. Having a bit of a perfection struggle myself, but I know how damaging that is to my own mental health. Nothing ever being good enough, even though I have all the validation, and evidence to say that it is. Especially for Eugene and Zach, I pray they can adopt a positive internal monologue, and find peace and acceptance in just their being, not only in what they are doing.
This is nice and all but it’s hard when you have a big platform and u meet thousands of people 1:31:32 who tell u they look up to u. Maybe that’s why he feels that…
Seeing Zach stand up for his girlfriend by taking the video down but Ned wanting the video up despite his wife getting hate too just shows what Ned was like. He didn’t care about his wife’s feelings.
I think Eugene sum it up perfectly. It was valid for Zach to feel that way, however the problem lies wirh the way he handled the situation (did not talk/inform the guys first). So yes, Ned's sucks, however he has the right to be mad about this particular behavior as that is his work as well.
@@crustlesswhitebread8372 He has the right to be mad about it for sure, it was bad communication from Zach, but the way Ned reacted was still shitty. He only thought about himself and his project, not his wife or Maggie or even Zach. He even said all hate was aimed at Ariel so it was fine, like wtf? If any hate was aimed at my significant other I'd applaud the guy who unlisted the video, not basically say that the hate doesn't matter and to post it again.
Ned had the balls to talk about his stupid video being taken down (rightfully so), when he was busy jeopardizing the entire company? "I just kinda do it". So you're fake. It's about the brand, more than about your wife. I'm so proud of Keith, Eugene and Zach. You'll be okay cuz you guys are strong AF.
I already knew Zach was the most passionate about the Try Guys but after watching this it shows how he’s the heart of the group and also most importantly the glue. It was his idea to start their own company because he saw how special they were. His true love for the Try Guys makes me so happy
This is a Zach appreciation comment. I know a lot of your skills go unnoticed because you truly shine behind the camera as well as in front of it. But I notice. It may seem insignificant because I’m just one person, but it’s what I got. I love how you put your all into the company, the other guys, and the staff. You’ve had an incredible impact on me and I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know. Please never stop being the funny, kind hearted, lovable person you are. Never stop sharing the emotional moments with us. Never stop expressing your creativity through production. Never stop being you
The way I was so scared for Eugene showing himself in drag in front of his family, I kept pausing it because I was filled with a total feeling of terror and chills across my body. As an immigrant myself, the idea of disappointing my parents weighs heavy on me as well, and making such a powerful statement in front of his family takes more than courage, it takes a lot of power and pride. I commend you, sir.
Right? My heart dropped when I watched him find out his mum and step-dad were gonna be there. For a lot of LGBTQ immigrants, that's a worst-case scenario. I'm really glad they're supportive of him, though.
"We have only been able to affect people in a positive way because we are actually best friends" Idk why I teared up at this update: all of it made me cry
the part where zach talked about not letting all the shit that happened to him get in the way of his fun or happiness, really helped me actually, im not about to spill my life story in these comments but ive been going through some stuff lately, and zachs speech has kinda like, inspired me? to actually grab life by the balls and do smth about it instead of just staying sad yk, thank you guys for all the content you put out here, it really does change lives
I don’t know why but when Ned talked about how views are people not data it really stuck with me. It’s so easy to forget that in a works of SEO and clicks. You guys truly got me through the past few years and I’m super grateful for the joy and inspiration you give myself and others. I’ve felt able to be myself than ever since I joined this community. FUCK YEAH TRY GUYS 💪
Lol. Same on the data thing. I work in digital marketing and constantly talk about audience demos, SEO/SEM performance, clicks, conversions, etc. but it’s easy to forget that what I’m actually talking about is real people interacting with what I’m putting out in the world. “People not data” needs to be on a sticker in every marketing office in the world. Lol
@@monie802 totally! I work in digital journalism and get SO caught up in the numbers, that I have to remind myself on the daily that these are people. That’s actually a pretty great idea for a sticker, might have to make one for my computer 😂
The fact that Ned is raging at Zach for taking down the 'project', then goes on to act in the most selfish way possible, putting the whole company in legal jeopardy, causing them to lose a fortune, makes me so mad😅 So Zach can't unlist a video, but you can cheat on your wife with an employee? Cool Ned, just checking🙄🙄
@@TheAlmalilibeth Their entire Without A Recipe TV series had already been filmed as well, with Ned in every one. I really hope they still air it :( That must've been an INSANE amount of money, more than they've spent on any other project I'd imagine
@@adoraperson3833yeah I agree, it’s really annoying when people compare him cheating to everything else he has done before the scandal. I feel both things can co exist. They’re mad he didn’t communicate with them before taking the video down esp since it took 6 months to create. I hate how people are overthinking the entire thing
Awh, my heart broke over the Zach situation with the Try DIY video. I can completely understand his point of view and his actions. Truly, I know where he was coming from. But on the flip side, yeah, Ned and the rest of the team absolutely needed to be involved with that decision. Zach said it best saying he knew what he did was wrong but for the right reasons. That moment hit me the most during this video. Thanks for the incredible upload, the behind the scenes, the soft underbelly of the vibrancy we're used to.
The legend of fun.."people wouldn't expect that I spent my childhood depressed, in therapy, and crying myself to sleep"... this is just an announcement that your 'fun and happy' friends may need some love.
hearing eugene’s mom speak about his sexuality reminds me so much of my mom. nobody ever speaks about the cultural barrier between a lgbt child and their parents who are immigrants. thank you for showing this!
Yep…Zach is definitely my fav try guy. He carries so much weight despite being chronically in physical and emotional turmoil. He really works himself to the bone. I knew he did a lot. But this really shows how dedicated he is to being a unique voice to the internet. I don’t think he gets the recognition he deserves for being the glue that holds them all together.
I have been too❤️ and still am. But life has a way of surprising you once you try to get urself out of your comfortzone. We’ll be okay❤️ and if ur not right now, that’s okay too!💖 wish u all the best
I’ve been a fan since buzzfeed try guy videos and then when you made this channel it got better as time went on and of course a couple months ago with one of my paychecks I bought the movie and it was worth it. To see how far you guys have all grown blows my mind for Eugene he showed me that it’s ok to be gay and be proud of it. Keith taught me eat your heart out if you love food then you love food. Ned taught me how to cook some amazing foods and tell me about different wines. For Zack he taught me how even with my autism and anxiety that I will be ok so all 4 of you have helped me in so many ways of my life I just want to say THANK YOU! -Alexis from Indiana
Okay did anyone else get teary eyed watching Ned run out enthusiastically with the pride flag, waving it with all his might in support behind his friend as he expresses his true self (around the 1 hour 27 min mark)? Seriously so touching and so sweet 🥲
YES! I had to rewind and rewatched that part like 3 times. I think it really captured the support that Eugene has in the Try Guys and it gave me so much damn hope that I can have support like that too someday.
Omg hearing Eugene’s mom say “he’s confused” and “I think some day he’ll change” broke my heart. I can’t imagine being Eugene and hearing that. Heart wrenching
I feel like she was saying that's how she used to feel. I think messages from eugene's mom get misinterpreted by the internet sometimes because of the language barrier. Her true sentiment gets lost. You can tell at the end that they are proud of him
Okay so the thing you need to understand: tense in Korean (so past, present future) is much SIMPLER than tense in English. When she says "I think he'll change" she's actually describing beliefs she had in the past. You can pick that up from the context around it. She's describing how she felt when Eugene was younger. So I'm guessing it just translated poorly from Korean to English.
I really appreciate how they get into some of the conflicts that they've had. They're content is usually happy-go-lucky, so it's nice to see what it takes to create that experience for us.
When Eugene's mom said that she would suffer for him to be happy i teared up. her whole speech... Eugene deserves everyone to accept him and im glad she does
It makes me so happy that they posted this documentary here. It shows they are more than just 4 guys being funny and doing random stuff on the internet. Each one of them is immensely talented and hardworking. Seeing how they pushed through all their struggles to make an impact and really use the platform to bring a change while working hard for their passion is really inspiring. They deserve all the love and respect for puting themselves out there and being so vulnerable in front of millions of people in hope that it might become a reason for someone out there to take their first step. Thank you for taking a big leap of faith and starting this channel. Hugs and one high five 🤭💕
I really feel for Zach, Eugene, and Keith. They not only lost their best friend and the person who they started this huge project/business with; but also their "brother" as Zach said after their TryDIY argument
I feel like i relate to Zach the most. I was diagnosed with Autism at a young age, along with depression and a multitude of other mental health issues. And I started dealing with extreme chronic pain, and sickness in middle school, which caused my mental health to get worse and I still struggle to this day. I always felt like I was a burden to those around me because of this. Sometimes I forget that I'm not the only one who struggles with depression, and seeing Zach tell his story helped me feel like I"m not alone.
U really are not, I'm on the spectrum too🙂which no one understood nd mistook me for stupid (one of many reasons I was bullied) idk how chronic pain feels but cramps do suck😅 (sorry) but ur not alone
I’m not on the spectrum but I do understand the hardship of going through something like that at a young age I’m disabled and have been since I was seven (I’m twenty now) which has been a if not the main cause of my mental and physical health issues but you’re not alone and will never be even if it feels like it ❤️
As another neurodivergent person (diagnosed with ADHD) who struggled with mental health issues, I also had lots of moments I related to or looked up to Zach. I'm so grateful for the moments he choose to talk about his story and reminds us all that we are not alone.
Now we know why Zach's back always hurts - he's been carrying double the work load for so many times and we've, as the audience, have had no idea. Zach the MVP
During try guys history, Ned was painted as the lead guy, the leader of the group and the one that made things happen so it’s amazing to me that now with all that’s happening, everyone is getting to see that Zach is and was all along the one, he is the moment, the heart of the try guys
Ned was only painted that way because he was the one most experienced with managing money, I think.
ZACH HOLDS IT DOWN
Zach is a Leo, enough said
I never thought Ned was the leader. I always thought it was Eugene and Zack.
Zach is strong AF!!
“If we start fucking hating eachother, we should stop” hits so much harder after seeing how upset Eugine was today in the video they posted. 😞
Couldn’t stop smiling seeing Eugene’s step dad smile so big during his performance and taking videos/pictures. You could tell how proud he was of him. Now after his passing, I’m so glad Eugene has this footage to cherish.
It's ned's birthday on June 11
@@dixierae3442 Wait I'm confused, Eugene's step dad passend away, but was he the man we saw in all the videos, or was that Eugene's "real" dad

Exactly offbeat Kiki. It imploded. But something good could come from it x
Now they can be called the Tri-Try Guys
I just can't believe he destroyed his life for a fling. That bastard.
Beautifully said.
1:14:25 The unintentional foreshadowing of Zach saying that "we often say that we're not friends anymore, we are brothers." While the camera pans down to show him wearing a Jonas Brothers t-shirt, a group of just 3.
Damn. Speechless.

Like the try guys covered in this documentary, Eugene seems to believe being a RUclipsr is “less than.” And, is inferior to other types of media such as major movie studios, theater, etc. I hope his viewpoint has evolved.
Also, he needed Papa Ned to give him a crane

Kudos you guys 👏
the way i read it was just some sibling banter and sarcasm
I’m happy he has her approval; as insincere as it comes off.😅😅❤️❤️❤️
Literally how my family is too
For real i accomplish so much and my family doesn’t give me the proper validation.

His speech to Eugene about the coming out video being on the Try guys was so genuine and thoughtful
I was 100% just thinking the same thing. The backlash he will get if he still tries to move forward with "lifestyle" content...
@@sihnpax6220 yeah, don't think there's anything wrong with couple teams as long as they uplift each other but well the thing about Ned...
Such appreciation for Zach for all he puts in behind the scenes. When I watched this a while back, my first thoughts were “wow. the Try Guys still existing is largely part to Zach.” Everyone had their own endeavors they wanted to explore and it seems like Zach was a major part in keeping them together while also having different avenues. So thank you for being so passionate about this company and fighting for it! Love you all and everything you do and stand for♥️
Edit: Please note I am in no way saying they put in any less effort. I am merely saying how based on this documentary, I gained an appreciation for how passionate Zach was about the Try Guys becoming something bigger. Please don’t negate the hard work everyone else put in!
I just felt the same way. You articulated it so well.❤️
Yeah go back to the first stuff they did on the channel. Zack and Keith did like 95% of everythinggggg. In front and behind the camera. So thankful for them

And now all these years later, they appear to have found better balances of their personal projects and Try Guys and all have other things going on - some with the company, some outside. zach is just so….. inspiring? the ability to be so raw and real with himself and with us, his acceptance that people will never fully see his complete genius potential that is all his behind the scenes work and will just see his arguably kinda dumb internet persona, all his struggle with mental AND physical health, and yet he still smiles and gives us his 100% every time. i was tearing up when he talked about his past and his struggles and then when he got the news that he got a standing ovation. he’s such a humble person and just a genuinely nice human being. i love all the guys and they deserve everything and so much more but right now i just wanna specifically say thank you for just existing and being yourself zach, you’re so loved by your fans ❤️
This comment needs more likes!! We see you Zach, thank you for being yourself and so vulnerable through all of your joy, and your struggles. You are appreciated and loved by so many!!
Put my feelings into words
I just came here to say, I'm sitting in some part of some random country so I'm sure there's countless others. But we see you Zach, We see you.
I know right?! This opened up a whole new facet to his awesomeness
Zach is my favorite 💚💜💙💙💜💚 I love all of em tho
Hearing Keith talk about how he struggles with feeling like he’s not lifting everyone up all at once equally and how that effects him was so relatable. I am similar in that aspect, feeling like if I can’t always give all of myself to everyone all the time then I’m doing something wrong. Whether it’s work friends, family, school friends, close friends, etc. I hope that Keith takes some time for himself and realizes that you don’t always have to give give give to everyone else for your happiness, performance or otherwise. It’s okay to just give to yourself.
you can't pour from an empty cup
Hearing Zach and Ned arguing about whether the DIY video should have been taken down to protect Maggie and Ariel hits even harder knowing what we do now. I thought Zach did the right thing before and I feel even more sure now. Good on him for protecting his loved ones above all else.
I agree,Zachary was only thinking about his loved one but Ned was thinking about his own project and time he himself put into it and not how it could be effecting his wife
taking it down was the right move but it's also not incorrect to say he should've consulted the guys before doing it.
Eugene and Keith are more understanding and gave validation to Zach’s point.
Eugene explained in such a way that yeah you’re hurt but that’s a bit immature to give in to BS trolls by taking it down immediately.
But hey, that video was cool! ❤
I agree and I can’t believe people weren’t saying exactly this BEFORE all this shit went down. Zach didn’t do anything wrong
I still think Zach should've discussed it with the other try guys, but his intentions were pure.
I remember when the Try Guys came to Singapore, everything was going so great but suddenly there was major technical problems during Eugene's segment and his sound went out. Eugene just started power posing and everyone was cheering and shouting encouragements at him.
Omg yes!! I think about this from time to time. It felt so surreal to be a part such a wholesome crowd
@@jvynk Right?
The triumph of a heart 🔥😭😭😭😭
Oh yes I remembered feeling so upset for him because I know how much effort they had put in this and the video and audio kept failing.
But he pulled it off perfectly 💜💜💜💜
Also the fact that Ned said Zach’s part in the show was the weakest one is really fucked up because Zach was so honest and vulnerable.
Time stamp?!
@@whitneysanders7005 idk if he says it in this documentary but he says it in one of the lie detector videos
@@josiemac7807 seems like something he envies, honesty is an inner strength few actually have.
I remember the days when Ned used to talk about wanting a kid, I remember the first time Zach talked about having a chronic illness, I remember Keith announcing his wedding, I remember Zach struggling with loneliness and self-love and I remember when Eugene brought his dad to a video and then his mom and when he came out I fkn cried and I remember watching and loving their first video in 2014 and I'm emotional now
Same same SAMEEEEE
Yeah, I find this weird as well. We're not witnessing their lives in real time. If they didn't like a certain representation, they would cut it out.
@@Chibbykins deeeefinitely. I see it a lot in streamer culture but RUclipsrs also sometimes need to establish boundaries with their audiences
@@Chibbykins Exactly. We know their entertainment personality. We might know that really well but it's not their private life.
He mentioned the project before his own wife.
I was shocked at how much he did not care about ariel getting hate, you would think he would side with Zach on that
Goes to show how narcissistic and selfish Ned truly is
@@mary02fairy I think the real eye opener here is that it was 100% not his priority.
He seemed very afraid of the others leaving to do other ventures, but I think his own skills are worthy and important too, and would be valuable even if the company changed structure
couldn’t agree w you more
it really makes me happy that they’re actually best friends. like they were pushed together on buzzfeed, but the past 4 years together have been all their own doing. them being so different creative wise but still such good friends is what makes the content amazing!
@TheKitKatLizard stoop 💀😭 Ned being a shithead doesn't negate the sentiment for the other 3.
Well put Jessica.
Well, the content was meh....
The irony of all the people that trashed Ariel and Maggie in support of Zach, only ended up hurting Zach more! When Ariel used the word "weird" to describe Zachs stuff and himself, is a word that HE used himself! The situation was very unfortunate and could have been handled better on all sides!
Yeah, I agree. I don't understand what they were going for by being so hateful toward the guys' SOs.
I hated the way they said he overacted. No absolutely not. That's how he truly feels, and it made me so mad.
He knows how to put things in words, and perspective so that it’s easier to understand for people who doesn’t know what it’s like
I didn’t particularly have a favorite try guy before this but holy crap Zach is the greatest person.
I never liked him much as he annoyed me but my opinion has gone way up now
The part where Zach said he did the wrong thing with taking the DIY video down but did it for the right reasons made me cry.
For Keith to perform on every stage he wants to perform in. 🎭
And for Eugene to do whatever he wants to do because we all know he can do just about anything.

Zach is just such a gorgeous soul. He cared more about Maggie & Neds wife than Ned which really speaks volumnes. We all need a partner like Zach.
😂 just Maggie but keep trying to make Ned look like the devil in every old video
I'm sure all of these foolish people feel Justified still in the things they said.
i remember when 'guys try women's panties' came out, that's wild!

THIS. Yes.
Any time you stand in front of people and do ANYTHING, people will talk s#!% about you! You have to NOT care to participate!
“I don’t know, I just cried a lot” -Keith

Innit funny how they said (in the first lie detector vid) they shouldve had a black member in the try guys and Kwesi seems to fit in nicely
Right!! They need to carry on and move forward. And not let Neds poor judgement and cheating. Ruin their legacy. And by not continuing making videos and doing their projects would let win.

Seeing Ned's proud smile on his face as he runs out to wave a flag for Eugene is so powerful !! And then of course, Keith and Zach running out too! It makes me so so happy that Eugene has support and love pouring into his life now from all these different places ☺️
I didn’t think I was gonna cry but that part got me good
Oh that moment makes me cry instantly, I've watched this like 4 times and it just make me go
That part hit me so hard
:(
the fact this isn't viral is so strange to me. It's literally like a whole movie with so much humour, vulnerability and inspiring individual looks into each part of this amazing self built company. Idk i just feel like it deserves more love lol
Why would it be viral? It's a pretty niche subject that the average person wouldn't tune into for 2 hours. Almost a million views is pretty good considering most youtube channels only have 10% active subs.
ehhhhhhhhh
Most people have short attention spans and I usually click off videos I see are more than 20 minutes
I get bored easily
Anyone who wanted to watch it badly already paid for it and watched it.....like myself.
@@Nonyah123 A lot of folks also already saw it when it first aired too. That's a separate video with its own views.
@@schuylermorgan9627 I paid for it too 😂 I’m watching it again because it’s here 🤷🏼♀️
I've noticed that this comment section misses some Keith love, so Keith: you're amazing! Your personality is awesome, your humour is too, and I think I can speak for everyone if I say that we're all so proud of you :)
I feel like Zach should’ve consulted everyone first but it was really sweet he did that
Maybe that’s why he feels that…
Y'all should do a bucket list series. Like doing things on each of the try guys bucket list.
this is an amazing idea! i second this!
Third!
YES!!
I love this idea!!
Can we get this bumped up more because they need to see this amazing comment
Seeing Zach stand up for his girlfriend by taking the video down but Ned wanting the video up despite his wife getting hate too just shows what Ned was like. He didn’t care about his wife’s feelings.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As long as it makes money nothing else matters
And also made Ariel’s pain entiiiiirely about himself!
Exactly. Poor Zack.
Yea worried about his creative process as he is literally throwing all of them down the drain.
Im so happy you’ve released this. I was so scared I would never see this 😭😭
Omg me 2
Same lol
Same😭💕 literally made my day and I haven’t even gone to my local pride parade yet😂 8pm🥳
Me tooo
ME TOOO ima grab the popcorn
"We have only been able to affect people in a positive way because we are actually best friends" Idk why I teared up at this
update: all of it made me cry
It's 1: 30 am nd guess who's crying
the part where zach talked about not letting all the shit that happened to him get in the way of his fun or happiness, really helped me actually, im not about to spill my life story in these comments but ive been going through some stuff lately, and zachs speech has kinda like, inspired me? to actually grab life by the balls and do smth about it instead of just staying sad yk, thank you guys for all the content you put out here, it really does change lives
The fact that Ned is raging at Zach for taking down the 'project', then goes on to act in the most selfish way possible, putting the whole company in legal jeopardy, causing them to lose a fortune, makes me so mad😅
So Zach can't unlist a video, but you can cheat on your wife with an employee? Cool Ned, just checking🙄🙄
And all the "projects" he caused them to lose! Cause now they have a bunch of videos they can't use because he is in them 🥲
@@TheAlmalilibeth Their entire Without A Recipe TV series had already been filmed as well, with Ned in every one. I really hope they still air it :( That must've been an INSANE amount of money, more than they've spent on any other project I'd imagine
In all fairness those two things don't really correlate
@@adoraperson3833they both impact their business so they are related
"To everyone out there trying"... got me right in the feels. I'm going through some stuff right now and this really lifted my spirits. xoxo
same!!!
Just watching how supportive they are of him…I continue to watch that part over and over, 😭😭

Omg hearing Eugene’s mom say “he’s confused” and “I think some day he’ll change” broke my heart. I can’t imagine being Eugene and hearing that. Heart wrenching
gotta watch til the end
@@ellifz yup
I feel like she was saying that's how she used to feel. I think messages from eugene's mom get misinterpreted by the internet sometimes because of the language barrier. Her true sentiment gets lost. You can tell at the end that they are proud of him
@@stephanieg7229 Exactly!
This!
I love that Mr. Cho looks like he’s having a ball the whole show.
I cried so much watching that part, he was so happy to be there
It's so wholesome 😭😭😭😭
"I will not be intimidated into mediocrity" thank you Eugene.
Lookup Wim Hoff breathing technique. There's documentaries about him. Deep breathing cures depression and even inflammation based chronic pain.
