Agree. It definitely lacks something compared to the shotgun, it also lacks room tone because of how close we held it, which helps the audio from the NTG3 sound more natural.

Immediately contrasted to the other mic you can hear a slight difference, but garunteed it’s basically impossible to tell a difference if you’re the average RUclips / film audience

RW Pro sounds more tinny, less bass tones. RW Pro has more pops and sounds close to clipping. NTG3 has a much warmer sound

They sound pretty much, both the exact same both have sharp tones snd are very clear. But the one thing that is different the rode does sound like it has a high decimal limit because the microphone is meant to be clipped onto your shirt or anywhere near your mouth so you can hear yourself more clearly in the vids. But both sound pretty good

It's about 1/3rd of the price of the shotgun mic, BUT it comes with 2 transmitters, and lavs. For the price I think it's the best wireless mic out there right now!

Yeah, the NTG3 sounds better, but the RW Pro actually holds up surprisingly well considering the price and convenience.

Side by side I can hear the difference but if you just used RWPro I probably wouldn't have noticed.
