Massive thank you for 200k on RUclips!!!! 🎉❤ thanks for watching and all of your comments over the last few years. Who knows where it will take me!! Xxx
Hannah congrats.
Higher the better, still not quite made it to 500 subs as yet. Will do some point in the near future hopefully. Steve
Hannah, our goal is for your channel to reach 1 million subscribers within one year.💐🇬🇧❤🇺🇸💐
Congratulations ❤❤❤
Congratulations you so deserve it❤❤❤❤❤
Yes!! I’ll be here with her till she gets that million sub plaque ..congrats Hannah!
Hannah, congratulation on your 201k subscribers 🥳🎉!!! This is really a wonderful milestone achievement! And it's a well-deserved recognition for your hard work filming, editing and choosing weekly content full of beautiful places and interesting things for us. But, mainly for sharing with us, a little bit of your life, personal taste, comments, opinions, or even moments together with Natalie, your nieces, your dad and friends. Thank you so much dear Hannah, for always being so kind to us! And also for bringing good moments into our lives. Your “stunning beauty”, and your lovely smile always brighten our days! You are very special and very loved too! 😘💐🏵🌸🌹🌺🌻🌼🌷
As a huge fan of Hannah, I could'nt have said it better myself - Great post !
And don’t forget her perfect non-accented English accent😊
@@suzy8109Uh, to me she definitely has an accent. I'm Irish so probably it sounds different to me.
How generous! Well done, Carlos!
This is so nice Carlos!!!
Your success is very much down to your special talent. The very first time I watched one of your videos I thought you had something very different and distinctive. It feels like going out for a day with a friend. You have such a lovely manner. ♥️
We’ll done, don’t know why a tv show doesn’t pick you up, you’re always a breath of sunshine, Sue👍💐
I love Japanese Gardens. They make me feel so calm and peaceful.
No barbecues, no cycling, no breathing, no fun😂😂😂😂😂😭😭😭😭 you are hilarious!!!
She truly is !
@@lyndabond1443 Well, I don't like snooty parks that have signs "KEEP OFF THE GRASS." You must remain on hard concrete and have no contact w/the earth because you may dent the grass!
🎵DO THIS, DON"T DO THAT, CAN"T YOU READ THE SIGNS🎵🙄😀
But I liked the dog-toilet. There was a "JUST FOR LAUGHS/GAGS" episode where they handed out diapers to dog walkers entering the park. It was hilarious. One woman actually put it on her dog, she thought they really meant it, lol!💓🐕🐕💓
I love your honesty 😂😂😂. The "I pick my wine based on the font of the label" cracked me up 😂😂😂😂😂😂. You are not pretentious and I love it ❤i love how you talk to the birds in the park 😂😂😂😂
Hi Hanna, I a new fan of your videos. I did my PhD in the Uk a couple of years ago, thankfully before Covid. I used to visit London quite often. Now, I miss it so much. And here comes you. Yesterday, I watched like about 15 of your videos. I like your style and being genuine. Do continue vlogging, please
What did you write your thesis on, may I ask?
I discovered Hannah this past week. Currently recovering from covid. I've really enjoyed watching many of the videos while I've been sick and reliving my time in London.
@@erzsebetkovacs2527 My PhD is on political discourse.
The building next to Barkers was another famous Department Store - Derry & Toms. Famous for its roof garden (where Roy Orbison filmed his song Pretty Woman) which is still there. Massive Congratulations on the 200K 👏👏
Hannah I am SO excited for your 200K Subscriber Milestone Achievement! Honestly, it seems that you were crossing over the 100K not too long ago, & now you are gaining momentum as you head directly toward 300K & beyond! Hannah you spend so much time & effort planning, fliming & editing & selecting great music; all so that we can enjoy the wonderful sights & sounds of London with you! Thanks for ALL your hard work & creativity that goes into each & every vlog! As always, have a great week Hannah, & I look forward to your next vlog on Friday! Congrats again & well deserved!!!! (Stay Safe!)
Classic! "Pigeon, you can maybe have the crab snacks, I am happy for those to go...stay there!"
Congratulations for usurping 200k. Onward and upward to 1m.
Kit-Kats are big in Japan. They have dedicated stores there that sell flavours that can’t be bought anywhere else. It’s because Kit-Kat is close to the Japanese phrase “kitto-katsu” (きっと勝つ). It literally translates to “you will surely win”. In English, it’s simply wishing someone “good luck”. In Japan, it is a tradition to give Kit-Kats to students just before they take their exams.
Matcha became popular because Buddhist monks would drink it in order to stay awake whilst handwriting out scriptures. It was the Pro-Plus of its day!
At the start of high school in Japan, students have to take an extra curricular activity, which is then studied for the rest of their time at high school, including during the holidays. Calligraphy is one of the options, so by the end of their time at high school, those students are good at it, and the art form has been preserved this way. Fun fact: Yoko Ono took calligraphy as her option at high school.
Love your videos, Hannah! 💕
Congrats on 20.1K subscribers, Hannah! 🎉
Your name in katakana is →ハンナ リケッツ
Hannah sounds like hana, flower in Japanese.
It would be nice if you come to Japan, but be cautious on big earthquakes. I would recommend hotels away from coastal areas.
Nara is an older capital city of Japan, older than
Kyoto. Tourists enjoy interacting with polite deer at Nara Park. 1300-year-old Hokkedo building houses big Buddhist statues from that era. JNTO in London will help you out planning! 😊
Your channel is such a delight. I was in Japan for the cherry blossoms this spring. The exchange rate is very good right now. I want to go back for the autumn leaf color, some day. You need to make plans to go. I will be in London in November. Your channel is helping me make my plans. Thank you.
Your music selections are exquisite, throughout all your vlogs. I have them all on a playlist. Thanks for your effort in finding such great music 😊
Every mum dreams of a daughter like you, or a daughter in law. Well done.
Hannah, the building to the left which houses Whole Foods used to be Barkers (I used to work there!), and the building on the right which houses H&M, was the larger Biba store, which I went to as a very small person! (original shop was on Kensington Church Street).
Used to love those Japanese pancakes with the bean paste, and love a Bubble Tea, but that's about it for me!
Oh, Hannah! It's always such a delight for you to take viewers along w/you around London! Thank you!⭐😊🏆🥇
Glad to hear you are going to take a bit of a break to enjoy summer. We started something new, every month my sisters and I have a ethnic dinner night where we have to make dish from the chosen theme, it has been really fun to taste new dishes from around the world. I am always impressed with all the parks around London, really stunning green spaces. Have a great week!
You're hysterical!!! I love how you told the pigeon to stay there so you can give him your crab snacks. Your candidness is why I follow you. Congrats on your ever growing followers!
1:54 and 2:20 what a beautiful doggie indeed.
Thank you for filming that, Hannah. Brought tears of joy that there are still good people who did not give up on their fur baby.
Since discovering yohr channel last year..i hv yet to miss any video. ❤
I remember travelling to Cornwall on vacation and I was completely touched by the businesses and homes I saw who had a bowl of water at their front door for thirsty dogs. That little dog was precious as he scurried along in his wheelie. 💓🐕💓
There's about 60 different flavours of KitKat in Japan. Not always all available in one place. They come in bags like the one you picked-up, but pay attention to the stated quantity in the pack, because certain flavours seem to less (or more) than the usual amount you could expect.
Congrats🎇🎆✨🎊🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎊🎈🎈🎈🎈🍷🍷🍷!!!!!! You should try Poki. It's a really slender cookie that's dipped in a variety of flavors, chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream and more. My favorite is chocolate. I think that your nieces would like this. Love you💖!! Keep trying different things. You never know what you could uncover.
Asian supermarkets have a pleasant ambience. The packaging is enticing. Linaments, homewares and sesame snacks are a favoured buy. The cloth rice bulk bags make great recycle projjects. Kensington has wonderful architecture, some of it with an Oriental influence from the Empire era. The Japanese garden is quite serene. It's time for people everywhere to come out of their bunkers and check out nearby sights and shops. Make the most of what you have around you. Find a bit of joy.
Hi Hannah. I just discovered your channel and have been binging your London touristy vlogs (even though I am a Brit living in the North West of England). I especially love your afternoon tea vlogs and your Christmas shopping vlogs. I so enjoy your engaging personality and that infectious jolly humour. You are a walking advert for all that is lovely about our country. New subbie. ❤
Those Lay’s snacks are very moreish! There’s a Japanese supermarket just opened in Norwich and they sell an incredible range of products, not just food, but kitchen things like woks, pans etc
Hannah, You got the Golden 200k subscribers ticket! Congrats and everyone knows you worked very hard for it.
The ladybug lighting on you in Kyoto Park was letting you know that a Japan trip is in the cards soon. Can you imagine: Hannah meets Japanese culture! A bit of jolly fun.
Hi, Hannah…love the vlog you made…(the one with the visit to the Japan shop)..did I see you eat ‘cat’ treats in the yellow bag with the picture of a cat on the front, and you ate cat size treats 😂😂😂😂😂….you will have an urge to chase mice, soon…😂😂😂
No that’s the brand logo lol not cat food
Single malt Scotch whisky Hannah….you maybe need to visit Speyside before you book a ticket to Tokyo.
Hi Glenn, I don't think it's possible to beat Irish whiskey. A glass of Jamison in front of a roaring fire, with a bowl of Irish stew, on a winters evening. Almost heaven. But, hey, I'm Irish. Anyway, just a bit of fun. Isn't Hannah the sweetest girl?!Cheers!!!
@@roisinpatriciagaffney4087 you might be on to something …….I always had a soft spot for Jameson…..many happy memories of having a glass in the evening over here in Yorkshire.
We have dumplings with our stew…….and Yorkshire puddings as starters, with the main course and as a pudding!!
@@roisinpatriciagaffney4087I have to admit that a glass of Jamesons in front of a roaring fire on a winter’s evening is pretty hard to beat.
Maybe our Yorkshire puddings would make a great starter for your Irish stew.
Hannah does produce some super vlogs……love seeing London through Hannah’s perspective……actually going to London these days can be hard work.
When the breaking news last week, about most of the Chinese truck drivers using the petro oil truck to deliver bulk cooking oils for decades, consummers all over the world stop buying those MADE IN CHINA processed foods and prepared foods, Canned foods frozen food , soup bases. and oiling oils Try something from Japan, Korea, and Taiwan, just to be safe!
But Islay whisky 😋
I was actually born in Tokyo and my parents moved back to the States when I was in one. They were there because my dad was in the military. I have had one layover there when I was traveling to Singapore. I have wanted to visit where I was born for years. My best friend now lives there, so now I really need to visit !!
Oh yes Japan is also on my bucket list. To experience a traditional tea ceremony and see the cherry blossom in full bloom. A little breezy. Thanks for the mooch around trying new things. Enjoy the remainder of your week. Thanks Hannah.
A big applause 👏 🎉for Hannah ❤. She made 200 thousand subscribers 🎉🎉🎉. Great vlog. You make me lol 😂. Love this channel ❤
I am so happy for you reaching 200k Hannah!! Cheers to you and your amazing RUclips channel!! 🥂🤍
Congratulations on reaching 200,000 subscribers. Your love of London and personable personality makes the channel sucessful. You are the tour guide I wish I had when I was in London.🥰💞
Congratulations on 200+ subs Hannah lots of hard work gone into reaching that so well done.loved this vlog & you’ve given me another idea for a day out for myself & my friend ❤. Chuckled at the ‘choosing wine by its font’ comment I choose red wine for my partner(I don’t drink it) by the picture on the bottle 😂
Hi Hannah,i want to thank you for bringing so much joy n smile into my life.Am Rookian from Montreal Canada n i love love watching your vlogs over and over again.Like you always say, it's like you bring us with you and i do feel that I am with you ❤
The markup is out landish! In Japan those little figurines would be around 3 to 4 quid! You should go to Japan,it is very safe, wonderful foods and the hotels are so cheap!
Lovely trip to Japan, Hannah! And WOW, 201K subscribers! Well done, and well deserved, too! ❤
Congratulations Hannah and well deserved! You come across as a very genuine person and we all love you for it! Your videos are so watchable! 😁👍
Congratulations on 200k subscribers! I am blessed to live in a city with a large Asian population (mostly Korean and Vietnamese) and I LOVE Korean grocery stores. We have Assi and Hmart. I love to "visit" Korea vicariously by going to those.
Huge congratulations on reaching 200K subs Hannah. By the way, when you check out the Japan Store it’s also worth paying a visit to the Yokocho restaurant around the corner. Love the interior decoration.
Congratulations on reaching 201K Subscriptions Hannah! Well deserved! Thank you for working so hard to film and edit your vlogs every week for us. You always take us to such beautiful and interesting places! The Japanese Gardens were beautiful - so peaceful. I think I would gravitate more towards the savoury snacks you were looking at. I love a good shrimp cracker. It looked like a lovely day that you filmed this. See you Friday!
Hey Hannah, happy Tuesday! I love the title of this vlog. I’m also living in an Irish city, WITHOUT Leaving Washington, DC. Hope you’re having a great Tuesday evening and wishing you an awesome rest of the week. See you on Friday! 😂💐🇬🇧❤🇺🇸💐
Well, this was fun. Japan without the flight.
Awww YES - Nikka Whisky! Hannah, there's a really interesting back story to Nikki Whisky - it's 'roots' are Scotland. Nikka was founded in 1934 by Masataka Taketsuru, who studied whisky-making techniques in Scotland while attending the University of Glasgow in 1918. Nikka's first whisky was released in 1940 and helped establish Japanese whisky's reputation for quality. Taketsuru chose the Yoichi distillery in Hokkaido because of its similar climate and environment to Scotland, and even planted heather on the site for authenticity. Nikka's whisky is made using traditional Scottish distillery techniques, such as small onion-shaped stills heated by coal fires, which gives it a spicy flavor with smoky notes.
While in Scotland, Masataka Taketsuru met Jessie Roberta [Rita] Cowan and they married. After moving back to Japan, Rita Taketsuru eventually was called "The Mother" of Japanese whisky because Rita supported her husband's whisky making endeavors through thick and thin. The Japanese are so enamered wth Rita that a 'mini series' for TV was made - it was a big hit. Many Japanese tourists do a pilgrimage to Scotland to see Rita's birth place. Before going to Japan, research the aforementioned - here's why. You will be treated 'spectacularly' - maybe with celebrity status - at the mention of Nikka Whisky's history.
And OMG...I about peed in my pants from laughing so hard at the 13:26 mark - THANKS - I needed that! Nice park tour. If after your Japan visit, consider going to South Korea, a really great country with super friendly people. Oh...CONGRATS on the 201K subs - you deserve the one million level! Cheers...
Really interesting Ross. Thanks for that. 😊 I’ve got an Edinburgh spring break booked for next year and my daughter is taking my 11 year old grandson to Japan for a fortnight next Monday, so in the next wee while the family is straddling both sides of the story 😂
@@jackieoconnor4926 ENJOY!!!
200k subscribers, congratulations 🎉🎉🎉 👏🏽 💐
Your off the cuff comments are gold! Congratulations on the 200K milestone! More power to you!
How exciting, looking forward to another informative video thank you Miss Ricketts.
Hey, congrats on the milestone! Your videos are the best part of my RUclips week.
Nice one, Hannah and a very big congratulations reaching 200k 🥂😉
Congratulations on your 201k subscribers Hannah!!! Well deserved! ❤❤❤❤
Congratulations on reaching 200K 🎉 💥 🥂 Next stop 300K at this rate. How you find the time to think of, film, and edit two vlogs a week of such high calibre while holding down a corporate career is beyond me. I don’t know how you do it, but an very happy that you do. My wife and I love your wanderings through the neighbourhoods of London as you meander between shops. We have already noted a number of places and neighbourhoods we will explore the next time we are in London. 🇬🇧 🇨🇦
Coming off a week without power which means no AC in Texas. What a wonderful respite this vlog was. I loved the beautiful blooms behind your bench. This garden was a soothing delight!
Hi Hannah
Great vlog.
The rising sun..shine has actually arrived!
Had one of those Nokia phones back in the day.
200k plus subscribers…..fantastic and so well deserved.
Thank you so much and trying those snacks pretty cool enjoy the rest of the week ❤❤😊😊
Great vlog. We eat all the Korean and Japanese snacks and noods, my daughter won't eat anything else. We have been to Japan House a couple of times, very stylish, but pricey. There are some great supermarkets in Chinatown, we always buy loads when we go. Try the Turtle chips, seaweed tempura and sweetcorn puffs. And the green melon ice lollies.
I am just realizing that when we visited London and stayed at a flat on Dukes Lane right up the street from Kensington High Street we walked past that Japanese store (the first one you went inside) at least a dozen or more times heading to the tube! I clearly remember glancing in the windows as we passed by it and thinking what a fancy store ... we never went inside. haha Now after watching your wonderful video I wish we had taken a look inside. Our oldest son will be taking a trip to Japan (for the first time) next year with several friends ... I'm so excited for him! 😊 Congratulations on your 200K subscribers achievement .. that is FANTASTIC and very well deserved!!! 🥳
Hannah, Everything was just Beautiful. Take Care 😎👍
This is another fantastic video with a nice look at Kensington and the Japan House is a great but expensive looking store and as always
another great video thank you awesome Hannah.🇬🇧🏰🇬🇧
Hoepfully I will visit london and see hannah on the street and ask her out and then maybe someday I will invit her for vaccation in japan, spain mallorca and greece and maybe some italy and enjoying food and her nice smile and kind attitude. Perfect dream women she is.
Happy Tuesday, Hannah! Great vlog today. The snacks you chose at Japan House looked delicious. Sorry they weren’t up to scratch. The snack selection at LA Mart looked interesting. Thanks for the fun walk around today. Have a lovely week! See you Friday!
🎉 congrats on the subs. Thanks for the foodie trip to Japan, always wanted to go there 😊

What remarkable stores in London ❤Congrats 🎉on topping 200,000 which you well deserve with your fabulous videos Hannah 😊
hi hannah, I'm going to put on my sunnies, and a smile and take a walk. You have set the good example of the love and joy of life.I went to Japan in 1977 for one week vacation in tokyo. I was studying Buddhism at the time in school.I went to a Buddhist temple and stayed with a Japanese family. I'm glad you like japan. They are nice people and were always friendly to me. beautiful park Holland park, Kyoto garden. This video trip is a winner, one of your best.
Hannah, you are so much fun to watch !!!

What a fun video Hannah thanks very much! Always nice seeing you happy and light hearted exploring around. Thanks for taking us along and congratulations on 200k! I will miss two videos a week come August but certainly understand.
Good for us all to see something new and different. Thank you, Hannah! ❤️🌏❤️
I absolutely love love love all your videos I love all the Japanese snacks and well done on getting 200k on RUclips xxx
Massive congrats to you for that amazing videos that you upload every Friday
Ooh Hannah. Another entertaining and informative vlog. I was up and down Kensington High St last year but didn't notice the Japanese shop. Now I cannot wait to visit London again as seeing Ken High St through your eyes is so refresing. I do love your vlogs and you are so real and unaffected and amusing that I hope you never stop! I'll really look forward to the return of 2 vlogs after your well deserved holiday.
Hi Hannah!! The green tea kitkats are really good. Also some of those noodles were from Liziqi. I love her channel too. She does fun crafty things around her hobby farm and has beautiful photography.
Dear Hannah - You never fail to make me smile. So happy you’re enjoying the lovely weather (and congrats on the
200K!) ❤ I hope the pigeons enjoyed the crab snacks!!😉
You should have tried the matcha Kit Kat. They are a popular snack in Japan. In fact there are a huge variety of Kit Kat flavors in Japan, compared to UK and USA. Thanks for venturing out with some new stores and snacks. It was also fun to see you sit on the grass while sampling your treats.
Congrats Hannah!! We’ve loved the faces you’ve made in the last couple vlogs ratting some unusual foods. We also like the comments at the end of your videos too and are going miss seeing you only once a week, but understand you might need a bit of a break 😊
That was fun. Thank you beautiful Hannah.
Yes, you are right. You need two weeks in Japan.
So classy Hannah. You are a true gift. Happy for you and your continually growing base of followers.
Am not surprised you hate editing your videos, they are so full of different things and the music fits. That must be wearing, finding the right music, but you do. Also glad to hear you will tone it down for a bit and have a life again. A guy called Samuel was determined to put a video a day up. I said to him slow down will you, it is so time consuming especially if you have a job as well. This was approx three years ago, havent heard from him since. A lovely bloke who always gave us details of how buildings were geometrically aligned, he was a satanic observer of the upper crust. God Bless you Sam. I must say your camera is absolutely stunning, I bet it has a zoom function as well, so clear. I love my GoPro 5 Black though, it pops out of my pocket during walks through parks, but I never put them up on here though. You were snacking hard in this one, with a sugar overload, trying different Japanese products. Making me laugh at avoiding feeding the Pigeons too :) Nuther cracker Hannah, thanks :)
Loved your trip to Japan lol.The crisps looked good.Hannah it is now 32 degree Celsius in New York City,NY.
Dear Hannah, thank you for your expertise. If you cannot manage to get to Japan, try Düsseldorf, they have a big Japanese community. Or go to a Sushi place, if you are into it. A friend of mine has Japanese background and invented a Japanese inspector (Takeda) operating in Hamburg. He's very successful. Always lovely to see you, cheers and keep up the good spirit.
Omg I loved your park comment Dont Breath , No Fun, that did make me laugh , Go to Japan I went in 2016 you will love it . Everyone will be taking your picture,
Huge Congratulations Hannah 🎉🍾🥂200k thank you for taking us a long on your adventures
Really enjoying where you take us ,Plus seeing Nat too 🥰 😂The pigeon hannah thank you for the Giggles as well 😜. What a lovely store 😊
Watching this at midnight makes me crave snacks! Lovely vlog as always❤
Im learning Japanese at a London uni...keep meaning to go to Japan Store.
I’d need a guide to help me pick anything in those stores so bravo to you for trying on your own. Always enjoy your videos
Congrats on the 200k!!
Congratulations on 200k! My daughter loves all things to do with Japan. She has wanted to go there since she was 10, she’s now 25 and still would like to go. She likes the Matcha Kit-Kats.
Interesting vlog! I like to watch a day later so I can read the posted comments😀. Never knew there were so many American produced products for the Japan consumer (Oreos, pringles etc)
Congratulations on your viewership👍
Congratulations Hannah, here’s to another 100,000 real soon, your videos are always so interesting and entertaining. You did a vlog way back at the Cotswold, will you be doing anymore vlogs outside London?
Congrats on 200k! 🎉🎉 Those lay flavours are insane - you can find some at the China Pavilion in Epcot. Like wise interesting kitkat flavours in the Japan pavilion - they have some amazing variations we don’t get here
Loving your content & style, dear Hannah! Keep up your great work!!! 🙂🙂🙂
Congratulations on 200k brilliant well deserved . I would love to visit Japan especially the area's with the bears .
Talking to a pigeon… so adorable 😄
Congrats on hitting 200K, Hannah!!! I think I would have avoided trying those jellies. You never know what the consistency will be like.
Those Holland Park houses were beautiful. Maybe if I win the lottery one day I'll buy one.😁
Nice to see your lovely weather! It has been hot and humid for weeks and I'm completely over summer right now.
I'm convinced. I'll try something entirely new. Another beautiful vlog Hannah. I love the Japanese aesthetic. In some ways it seems to me to resemble or intersect with modern Scandinavian design sensibility. The yakimono(crockery) is right up my street. Shojii Hamada had a very special historical connection with your Bernard Leach! I have a few pieces from Mashiko. Way to go Hannah! Your subscriber/view ratio has been absolutely off the charts. I'm so happy for your rising numbers. It's nice to see you're enjoying some fair weather. The air looks so fresh and wonderful! Jikai made girl! For some reason my emojis aren't operational.
Hi Hannah! Congratulations ❤ on 200K! Well deserved. This video was particularly resonant to me as a Yank who at the turn of the millennium moved from Tokyo to London! I don’t remember The House of Japan on Ken High Street, I’m sure I would have checked it out had I known about it (I lived in Chelsea for three years ). I was in Japan for just under 2 years so only picked up a rudimentary knowledge of the language but as far as pronunciation it’s helpful to remember that most words are groups of syllables, usually a consonant and a vowel paired together. Just pronunce the syllables (ie “ sa-ku-ra “ ) with equal stress on each syllable and you’ll be close enough 95% if the time! Thanks for another fun video (btw, I can imagine exactly what your iced tea tastes like.😅)
