I found the beginning was the most fun because you improve noticeably every day. Then after a month or so you kind of peak and you have to work harder.

Try with your right hand sliding into the notes and starting the next note with your left whole the right is still going. It creates a really sweet non stop type of sound like there's no gaps in it at all. It sounds like everything is blended together.

I just want to say thank you so much for making these videos. I know you must work very hard on this and they are very inspiring and helpful. To see someone put in this effort for the betterment of others is amazing.
Thanks again for this video, i learned a lot, the exercise 2 made me crazy, so beautifull with the backing track, i'm beginner into tapping, know nothing about it, can i still approach those licks ?

Be carefull not to be too generous. It's a little disapoiting when you buy a course and you can find a half of it on youtube. That being said awesome video.
hey bro, there's the Indian scale in Key of C, and it's like C, C#,F, G, G#, C, could you pretty pretty please do something about it, cause I don't know how to work with that scale
Dude how do you do it. The past two vids have read my mind. The day you made the whammy bar vid I had just got a whammy bar. Today I just made a tapping lick. What the heck.
There's a lick in exercise 3 that sounds like it's influenced by Johnson's Cliffs of Dover. It's really great! Does Johnson use voicings and taps in Cliffs like the ones you're using, or are my ears still developing?
you should always be muting the strings with both your hands. The fretting hand should mute the higher strings while the strumming hand mutes the lower strings. It takes practice but you'll get it.
Hey Tyler, I was wondering how long your course Guitar Super System will be on sale. I really want to take it! Thanks in advance, I love your videos and you are an amazing guitarist! :D
I've seen non guitarist attempt the last one. Some dude at Guitar center say's "I remember that trick" the guy on guitar says, it's not a trick It's E minor tappin the (A) and (B flat note) with my pick lol.I went from E minor to F# dominant7.Whaaat?
the concept is similar to the songs 'midnight' by joe satriani and the intro of 'building the church' by steve vai its like a tapping an entire chord using at least 2 fingers from both hands, check out those songs

Lick 2 has to be my favorite, it sounds great it's not super hard and it gives a great incentive to learn your scales better and practice them

Broooo the second lick was incredible!!! And number 4 was better at the "fast" tempo more than "light speed" overall amazing!!

what do i need to get to make my guitar sound like the tapping excersise 2 light speed ?
start very slow and try hit every note perfect without any wrong string ringing. Then build up the speed slowly. Use a metronome.
And practice. Alot.

I love that guitar, late to the vid obviously, but that red and the dove?? Inlays ughhh
Awesome examples! I am definitely into buying the course. If I can't see the road ahead...someone shall show it then :)
“Finding your own voice for the guitar.”
Im gunna borrow that for future reference. Couldn’t have been said better.
I created some tapping melody by myself. Would love to hear your thoughts on it.
great video i learned the two of them so far

Totally hear you. The course is about 3 hours of video, only about 5 minutes total is up online. ;)
Nice video, but there is a difference in exersice one slow and fast. There is some extra taping on the B and G string when played fast.
I came to this video looking for the example 3. Thanks man!
When it goes to "light speed" it sounds like something straight outta rainbow road Lol
5:31 After practicing for many weeks I now have the ability to communicate with aliens. Thank you, Tyler.
Can u make full set tap melodic no repetitive... i want hear wonderfull 2mins music of this style thanks y enjoy all
How can I make my tapping sound louder ? Should I use a compressor ? I read it somewhere. Keep up with the great vídeos.
mario rodriguez turn volume up. tap notes harder
+African Child Thanks, i'll keep on trykinh
mario rodriguez hey, yes some compression would even out the volume of the notes. A little amount of gain would help too
+Ahmed Diab Thanks, I had thought about it a while ago, but wasnt really sure about it.
+Rayene Boussetta That might be The problem xd
Very good! amazing lesson
Im going to practice those thanks you! 👍

Cool licks! Not bad at all
More excercises like these would be great!
I think you're missing the point, I'd like more excercises BY HIM, because he's a good teacher.
have you heard Vernon reids tapping riff for the living colour song behind the sun. it's amazing.
the second exercise just blew my mind
where are tabs?

What's the name of the backing track of the second tapping lick please ?
Can you do a video that gives tips for harmonizing
I like using my Ring finger instead of my pinky on the E string, Is it fine???
These are awesome tapping licks. :O
Do you do some vibrato techniques in that course? I d love to learn the Myles Kennedy style of vibrato

Does the guitar gauge matters when tapping & in which way (are heavier strings lauder, etc)?
How to mute while tapping and where to place pick?
Is what I learn in the course applicable to guitars that arent electric? Say classical guitar?
Mega Regenerator ye
This course is geared toward electric guitar.
Where do I find the Curriculum Bar???? I want to print these out!
Mega Regenerator i van tap so fucking Good on my acoustic you can too ir just takes a bit more of practice
WiryW - classical guitarists.
its starting to make sense its like a hammer on chord
The problem I have is my strumming hand always buzzes the strings. Any tips to stop that
you should always be muting the strings with both your hands. The fretting hand should mute the higher strings while the strumming hand mutes the lower strings. It takes practice but you'll get it.
the 3rd one got me in heaven
I've been doing that last technique for over a year now

How is Eruption not in this video and all the ones that I ain't never heard of before. (The last one was cool tho)
Where can I get the backing tracks?
great stuff
And to think that all these are pentatonic licks and they each have their own identity.

The #4 lick sounds so familiar but I can lay my finger on it. Does anyone know?
I'm starting with the tapping, do you recommend using the distortion or is maybe is better with the guitar disconnected?
WITH DISTORTION, if u play without, u won't hear the little mistakes the amp can pickup on a metal channel
Love the prs
