tysm 🙏🙏 Most filmings we're left limping out of because there's never enough time to film things in a way that's safe and looks good. Tbh I get a bit jealous when seeing other MK fights/skits where the team has literally days to film. Things would be much different if we had time instead of having to rush through 20-30 minute improvised skits as just the two of us in a single day that includes 5 hours of driving and some packing.

It wasn't too bad, just a headache for the rest of the night including the drive back till 4am.
Since the beginning we've been doing these stunts without pads or much protection hoping fans will respect the realness and passion, similiar to legends like Jackie Chan that we grew up admiring and inspired by. Unfortunately most don't notice or consider the pains/damage that come with. Getting kicked in the eye was months of setback, the same filming my foot was crushed and I couldn't walk on it painlessly for years. This led to a deterioration of my health as I could no longer put weight on it through lifting weights or cardio. So when the MK11 fight came along I was rail thin with no meat to protect from falls, as a result I started experiencing my back clicking out with intense pain for hours, laying on the ground flat falling straight down was the only way it went away. After that fight the soreness from falls took over a month to recover from, and it hardly even paid for itself despite all the time and damage that went in. It's because of this and more that I cannot comfortably say I can keep doing these 16+ hour filming days.

Before this I got hit hard in the family jewels by a rake and scraped my arm on a telescope falling on it. Those pains went away real quick when this happened lol
