I can't believe some of the comments on this video! It is blasphemy to insult Tommy Igoe! This guy is one of the great fundamental and technical geniuses of the art of percussion! He is the showcase, that's why he is showcasing! The people paid to come and hear him do actually what he's doing; play the hell and hater out of those drums!

@GreenEggsAndSam9 Yeah green, drumsforpete is obviously not a drummer nor is he related to anything muscial. If he is, then it's simple, he's a hater! T.I. is one of the most musically gifted drummers I have ever had the blessing of hearing. He is absolutely amazing.
You realize there is no other musicians on stage? wut makes you think it would be easier being the only one having to keep time playing along with a sound track?
You must not be a musician as if you think this is self absorption . you have NEVER listen to some of the greatest players ever who CLEARLY show their talent with the company of other great musicians.I give you props if you can play half as good or even a fraction as good as this with a live band or a recording.

It takes youtubeless wannabes to want to bite at the ankles of a drumming giant such as Tommy . On hes instructional dvd he talks about not overplaying.So this is purely a simple demo of having fun.He is deliberately over playing for the crowd and fun of it.

The whole point of this is to showcase his skill in timing and band drummer completeness, not self-absorbtion.
