Watch the Air Force Thunderbirds fly over the Indianapolis Motor Speedway before "The Greatest Spectacle in Racing" with a fully interactive 360° view.
I thought this was cool the first time I watched it. Then I realized I could "click and drag" to change the camera's point of view. What a time to be alive!

Make sure you gents try it on your phone too, so you can just tilt & turn the view right there in your hands. Very cool.
You can also zoom in too.
I've watched this incredible display a number of times and not only does it NEVER get old but two things always come to mind; #1 Awesome just Awesome and #2 An enormous sense of pride that I live in a country where we have men of this Calibre flying over the United States of America watching over us and safeguarding our freedom!!! Fantastic!!!

After these two fly-overs at IMS, the Thunderbirds returned to IND/KIND and landed on 5L. From where I was at I was able to see them make left traffic and I watched the six make their approach, with, I am assuming #1 and #2 landed first while #s 3 through 6 continued around for another lap around the pattern and landed in a staggered pattern, also on 5L. Super cool. Good work. I took a few pictures. It would have nice to hear the squadron radio or ATC synchronously with these maneuvers, but the video gets an A for certain.
Thanks very much for posting this, and for the Thunderbirds for shooting the video! My wife and I were outside the main gate of IMS for the two fly-bys before the 500, so it's fun to see it from the pilot's perspective. Also a nice view of Eagle Creek Reservoir at the end! I was at Eagle Creek Airpark when they flew by on Saturday- what a treat!
Being able to swing the Camera View is something I've never seen. Upper left corner of the screen control gives you an amazing way to watch
This was so cool -- I love these types of videos!!! Plus, it was filmed over one of the most magical places on earth.
I almost gave this a thumbs down as I didn't care to watch the pilot, until I saw the Arrows in the upper left corner that allowed me to change the view. Very nice.
It's even more exciting when you're part of the racing team standing on the speedway as the jets come flying over. I got to do this twice back in the 2002 IRL Season at Texas Motor Speedway. Thank you Conquest Racing!

The 2nd Fly over was AWESOME
They flew over my house about 4 times while going out to the 500 track and back again to I think is what used to be call Mt. Comfort airport this past weekend and the race was delayed so they had to fly out to the track a few more times than usual.
Just another great example of things great things to come from Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Thanks Mr. Penseke. That was awesome. I really doubt we would ever have seen that from a race facility owned by the Hulman-George Family. No disrespect to the Hulman-George Legacy, but they did the right thing by selling to the perfect buyer. So if this pandemic ever comes to a livable "normal", great things will come to IMS. Thanks Roger!!!

After we saw the USAF Thunderbirds flyover at the Indy 500, we went to Fort Wayne Indiana for their Air Show! Amazing!!!

😳HOW IN HEAVENS NAME was I able to move my iPad around to various angles & see everything as if the Pilot were turning his head ❓❓❓ I watched most of the video just sitting still in my lap... But then when I moved i noticed it was like I was the Pilot, and started moving it around to see various thing’s, if i stopped i stayed on one view😧HOW THE - - - - OH WHATEVER... OH, & just in case, I unplugged the headphones and took it over to show the wife... WHEWW😥 Thank goodness, it did it showing her too... Just wanted to make sure i wasn’t going crazy🤪❗️❗️❗️

You can hear the jets which makes it more entertaining to hear the real noise

The Indy 500? No thanks. If I want to watch people go left all day on Sunday, I'll watch "Meet The Press".
The turns are only banked 9° and they are going into the turns at 225 mph. Anything less than precise driving and your car is in pieces sliding down the straight all the way to the next corner.
@@thejman3489 Impressive. But not nearly the degree of difficulty required to craft a double entendre as precise as mine.
