I like Mark Carney. Smart. Genuine. Pragmatic. Unlike PP who only say “Axe the Tax” over and over again and has not come up with a plan to manage climate change, Carney actually has a comprehensive plan. Substance policies over simple slogans. Also to those saying that industries like the oil and gas will just pass on the added cost or price to consumers, my view is that these companies are more likely to make their production cleaner and more environmentally friendly as they do not want to be penalized in the long run. So it’s also an incentive for companies to make changes now to lower their carbon footprint.

Not if one chooses a cleaner more environmentally friendly option - as Carney mentioned, it’s a carrot approach. 🥕 Consumers are given a choice and are incentivized to make the better choice for the environment. Companies who do not lower their carbon footprint or make improvements to lower their emissions will not stay competitive and will pay a “carbon” tax so it is also in the best interest of these companies to change and improve.

I went and spent the evening a couple nights back looking at fentanyl seizures along the U.S./Canada border on the U.S. Border website (the official one) and Trump is clearly lying...there is no massive influx of fentanyl across the border to the U.S. Across the southern border? YES Across the northern one, NO. It even breaks it down month by month on that site. One month the seizures were as low as $44 worth.... But don't go on what I'm saying, go to their site and look it up yourself. Just make sure you choose only Fentanyl and only the Northern border. I went by value but you can also look by dosage or # of events.

Not if one chooses a cleaner more environmentally friendly option - as Carney mentioned, it’s a carrot approach. 🥕 Consumers are given a choice and are incentivized to make the better choice for the environment. Companies who do not lower their carbon footprint or make improvements to lower their emissions will not stay competitive and will pay a “carbon” tax so it is also in the best interest of these companies to change and improve.

YES Across the northern one, NO. It even breaks it down month by month on that site. One month the seizures were as low as $44 worth.... But don't go on what I'm saying, go to their site and look it up yourself. Just make sure you choose only Fentanyl and only the Northern border. I went by value but you can also look by dosage or # of events.
