I've followed mom and dad's journey since Yoyo was about 2 years old. What an incredible Journey. My so started of playing drums at a very early age. Thing is..She was actually good. But my son and I also had a Magical Journey as well. Great Moments..Great Memories.

Never buy or rent a house before thoroughly checking that everything is in working order.

But on a more serious note it deeply saddens me to see how people in a difficult situation like yours are taken advantage of. Such an uphill battle.. And then realizing there are so many people like you fighting the same upbattle in 'the land of the free'. All the love and support for the family!!!!
Wonderful that you got to, play Burn at the Whiskey-A-Go Go, and later, see Glenn Hughes live, doing Burn!! And Yngwie also (who I once saw do Burn, in Oakland at the Fox Theater, with Generation Axe about 5 years ago!). Hope the home situation gets better and better and better!

For some reason, I have noticed that the smile you always had when you played the drums as a child has disappeared ever since you became a teenager and moved the United States from Japan. May be it is because of all the struggle your family has experienced due to your housing problems; but I hope you recover your smile and joy for drumming.
Jacob Collier should hire you as his new drummer! You could most probably even improve his band! (I saw him last year in Munich: he is incredible in so many ways!)
I hope your family - after suffering through all those setbacks and hardships - will come out the other side strong and prosperous!

Lots of good music as usual, but I missed the visit to the Guitar Center. A lot of issues with that house and the management company. Hope where you are now is much better than that. I can relate to the gas leak and so could everybody else in the elevator.

I was involved with a band in the 80 but the drummer would get louder than the rest of the band it was distarous with a sound master controlling the volume that can be fixed
All that time it was a simple hose to the back of the cooker that was leaking, and he wanted to charge HOW MUCH to replace it? $55 for a $2 rubber hose? Insane! And then more problems with the new house? Oh, no! I hope all of these problems disappear soon and you can all start living normally. Anyway, congratulations for the many collaborations you contributed to, and for all of your performances. Whenever it seems impossible to get any better you still manage to progress even further, proving there are no limits for where your talent and hard work can take you. Cheers!

海外で家を借りると日本との違いに愕然としますよね。しかも対応、修理が本当に遅い。住居が落ち着かないととってもストレスだと思います。よよかちゃんもしどう君も明るいのが救いですが、お母さんお父さんは相当大変だと思います。どうか日本に一時帰国してる間は思う存分美味しモノ食べて、ゆっくりお風呂に入ってユックリしてくださいね。いつも日本からご家族を応援してます👍
ありがとうございます！この後ももっと大変なことがたくさん起こりました。一時帰国は短い期間でライブやイベントもたくさんあったのでゆっくりできず忙しい日々を過ごしていました。またアメリカで挑戦を頑張ります！
If I was a lawyer I would have helped them with their awful landlords FREE OF CHARGE. Such a shame that they were having so much bad luck with greedy landlords.
With you going around and seeing and playing with bands. Have you come across The Linda Lindas ? They're a all girl band from some where in LA. They are right in your age group. It's sad that Yoyoka's family has to endure the horror of America's pathetic housing difficulties....landlords that expect you to have a high income from day one, blame you for all the pre-existing problems that were created by the previous tenants but the landlord, in addition to charging that previous tenant for the damages, decided to make double on it by not fixing it and then blaming the next tenant...yeah, you know the game. It's a shame Yoyoka is getting a front row seat and learning how much better of a country Japan is compared to America. I hope she doesn't also get a front row seat for America's biggest masterpieces of failure... gun violence and poor healthcare.
I agree much is wrong in the world, whether it be in the US or any other country, but the cause of this is not from individuals who hold elected office, but the people who control the monetary system, large corporations and hold sway over governments. I have studied them for 17 years and do not see much hope of escaping their intentions, because they have much power, and the people will readily ignore them as long as they think they can avoid being a nail in the land of hammers.
The fact that LA has the largest homeless population in the country exemplifies how criminal the housing bubble has become. I couldn't even get an apartment when I lived there due to my taxi job just because I didn't have a pay stub.

I feel sorry for all the good people of the world who have faced atrocities because of these Evil Rulers.
