Questions for the owner:
Favorite modification you have done?
- The Teraflex sway bar disconnect system. I just have to turn a knob to disconnect. I get full articulation up front. When it is connected it acts like a giant sway bar actually improving how the jeep handles on the road.
What is your next modification?
- I am looking at doing an Atlas 4.3:1 T-case this year. With it being a sport it only has the 2.72:1 low range ratio. It has been great with the 4.88 gears, but I’m looking for a little more control with the manual transmission.
Favorite off road adventure you have been?
- We have done Moab with SDJC twice already. It is by far our favorite place to adventure. The people are nice there. There is so much to see, and we don’t have to do the crazy trails all the time. My wife and I tend to enjoy the scenic trails over the gnarly steep obstacles. With that being said we got some great pictures on Top of the World this last year.
Scariest situation in your rig?
- My first time off road. It doesn’t seem so scary now looking back. My jeep was only 7 days off the lot; brand spankin’ new. I still had my paper plates on it. We were at the 50th TDS Desert Safari. I had no idea what 4Lo was or how to use it. My jeep has a manual gear box, and I had little control going up or down the hills and obstacles that the TDS club had set up for the green, easy run. I was super nervous and literally scared sick that I was going to wreck my new toy.
What trail is on top of your bucket list?
- I have to do the Rubicon, but I think that the trails up in Ouray, Colorado are going to take precedence. Авто/Мото
LOVE 2 doors!! This is one beautiful build.
Very nice build for sure!
Jim Fancher I
Not only a two door, but also a manual. Lovely haha
*FINALLY* a 2 Door. :)
Everyone and their mother owns a 4 Door.
I'll get a 2 door when I have other cars lol.
Nice to see a 2 door It seems like everyone has a 4 door...
Will have to line up some more in the future! Lot's more types of rigs to come!
TrailRecon 🤙
Dan Hambrick I wish people drove more tires
A 2 door is a Jeep.. the 4 door jeeps are the new mini vans..not a Jeep ...
This is a very sharp Jk. 2 door Jeeps are the best. Won't drive anything else. I understand why the 4 doors are popular but for me it has to be the original MB look which is why the doors come off when weather allows.
2 doors have the great classic look and this one is built well!
Hahahaha I was one of the ones who requested the 2 doors awesome video!
Keep the request coming! Thanks!
That superchips tune is so awesome. I use the 87 tune in my Jeep and the additional power and lack of throttle delay is awesome!
Love seeing the 2 door.
Team Hybrids always doing it right . Great job
Love that Jeep!
liking that modular bumper, stinger looks good on it!
Great walk around, great rig. It was nice to see a 2 door.
Thank you!
Very nice rig! Awesome video!
It is very nice! Thank you!
Great lookin jeep. Got some goals for my 2 door now.
So many nice upgrades to choose from!
Lookin' Good Lando!
Awesome Jeep! Great choice for your 2 door rig walk around Brad. Orlando's Jeep has always been one of my favorites!
Thanks! Your Jeep has got some great mods folks would love to see as well... hint, hint!
That's means I'd have to clean her..... lol.
that's a bad ass jeep there. love the video. thanks.
It is really a well built rig! Thanks!
S/O to the two doors man I have a 2 door jk love it
Does this guy have a RUclips channel
Damn Team Hybrid still getting it done. Been seeing that sticker in Socal since the 90s
Jeep is a mother to all 4x4
freaking beefy! love those fender flares I got some bushwacker flat fender flares on my Cherokee
Right on!
Right on! Yeah more two doors!
Good looking jeep
nice rig!
Sure I would do some things different but to each his own. But I will say that interior set-up is sick!!! Nice jeep.
His interior is very nice for sure! Thanks for the comments!
Love it
very Nice 2 door
Agree!
awesome vid !
Thank you!
The light bar and lights what set up is that? It looks good.
What antenna mount are you running for the Yaesu 7900 ?
Nice!
What about that stinger!!?? What are they used for versus a shorter grill guard?
Sweet 2 door JK
Agree!
You should upload more xj videos they seem to get great response keep up the great work
Coming soon!
What a nice dude and a lot of terraflex disconnects for the favorites
What exhaust do u have
+TrailRecon Is the XJ gunna be ready for tierra del sol? I am wanting to go out there for the event and this will be my first event. I don't know really how to start, what i should bring and stuff like that?
We hope to be taking it out on some easy runs soon, so should be out and about for TDS. TDS is as easy or as hard as you want to me make it. Last year, we just camped, hit a few easy trails, enjoyed the TDS event and spent some time with good friends!
Nice jeep....what's the key? You can lock your hood??.....that's pretty cool...
Can you do an interview with someone that has Poison Spyder Gear. I've seen some Jeeps on your expeditions that do have Poison Spyder. Thanks.
I'll keep my eye out! Thanks!
I got a 2 door and I keep going back and forth on whether I should get 35' tires or 37'
37s take a lot more mods to properly work. Brad has a good video on how to run 37s.
How do I get on the show??? I love your vids! I have a pretty built up 14 JK! And would be awesome to go wheelin with you guys!
Shoot me a message with some info about your rig: www.trailrecon.net/contact-us.html Check out the San Diego Jeep Club for upcoming trail events: sdjc.rocks/events.html
👍
8:10 what does he mean?
That Jeep is sick! If you know, why didn't he get the Rubicon? Especially since he put all that money into it, why not get the electronic sway bar disconnect and the Dana axles it comes with? I'm just curious.
Yung Boolio That make sense then. It's definitely nice. I have a four door Rubicon and want to set mine up similar, especially the Alpine stereo and back up camera.
Can someone explain the lockers on the rubicon. I'm new and looking to buy my 1st jeep I don't plan on being a heavy trail rider just the medium hard stuff, I guess. I live in the Appalachian. Retired army vet need something to do to get out and meet people.
Thanks for your service! Lockers lock up both wheels so one wheel isn't spinning independently of the other. This is helpful when in soft terrain or when off-camber and one wheel comes off the ground.
TrailRecon if I was to get a Sahara or a sport is a locker system hard to install
shack tha man not really it’d be tedious , but since you’re not doing anything crazy.....they won’t be needed
Hi Can you send me the purchase link address of your rear camera?
🤤🤤 that is one bad jeep for as i got a 2 door
idk which is better 2 doors or 4 doors!
That debate will go on forever!
It’s easy 2 doors of course
That's any easy $18K in extras on that rig. Nice
The location of this shoot looks familiar.
It's a great spot! Thank you!!
cool walk around but you don't have to smack all that things you talk about. I know jeeps take a knocking but it would piss me off if someone started knocking against my headlights.
Did you just say nice to that pentatrash
So is he a millionaire
Nice jeep ugly rims and front bumper. besides that nice work to jeep
Clip on's don't make ya a builder lol. Rookies. The whole build is weak man yea there are MANY worse but that shouldn't be your bar ya know? Fabricate more and don't look to other's for your parts if they are weak. I can see the fckn disappointment on your own face as you describe this shit wagon. That's a good sighn though, means that you know it's not up to par and aren't satisfied with it either. Don't settle for clip on trash and best of luck man.
Joe Smith I just looked to see if you had videos of your builds......nope.
Ever heard the phrase “put up or shut up?” I’m guessing you have....
Nice!
Very nice!
