6:46 my man doesn’t think twice before changing the wheels and tires, bumpers, suspension, drive shaft, axels… but is too skeptical about changing the Gas cap. 😅 I love the off-roader community. ❤
@jim Well, I was talking more about Brad and his wife. Understanding her reasons for yellow I respect that. But wouldn't be my personal choice. I prefer something that blends into the nature you're exploring. Yellow associates me with school busses, taxi cabs and Ryder rental trucks. Lol.
@jim It is true. But in many states they require headlights on during rain and low viz situations. Most modern vehicles have full time day time running lights. I don't think safety is a real issue when choosing a color. We've had several yellow vehicles in the family. Nothing wrong with that. Just personal choice.
When My mom passed, I adopted her 2000 Yellow Wrangler. Mom's nickname in High School was Wacky Mackey, SOOOOO.... since the hood was blank, I scanned in her hand writing and made some stickers to put on the side of the hood. The 2000 is the Wackey Mackey.. It had 50K miles on it when I got it. I have put 20K since owning it. I'd forgotten how much I love Jeeps. I just wish she would have bought a standard. ;-) My first car was a Jeep I bought out of a junk yard for $400 bucks. With some elbow grease I got that straight six humming. I still am mad that I sold it. GGGreat job on your videos!!!!
I really like that your wife is getting more involved with the channel. She’s a natural. It gives me hope that my wife will come around to enjoying adventures a bit more.
I love seing couples and families all wheeling together. Jeeps are so good about naturally encouraging togetherness and doing things as groups. My wife and daughter are both Jeep girls, and while my daughter loves her white 2 door hardtop Wrangler, my wife prefers her 5.7L Hemi Powered Grand Cherokee TrailHawk. It's the vehicle she traded the minivan for, and the first vehicle she has owned that she is passionate about. She built an emotional connection with the TrailHawk, and being a car guy, that makes me very happy. I myself am beyond happy with my 2018 JLUR, and It has it's share of Ocala National Forest Pinstripes and rock rash on the rock rails, steel fenders, and beadlocks. I also have around 63,000ish miles on mine with the 3.6, and I agree. Its a solid and trouble free motor, and mated to the 8 speed auto and 5.13 gears, turns my 38's very very well. I also have a 99 C5 Corvette, but I prefer the Jeep for daily driving and weekend adventures.
I love the name of your Jeep and especially the history behind the name! Thank you for your service and for keeping alive the name of another strong, accomplished service woman!!
I think you made a great choice in buying your yellow 2018 Rubicon Jeep. I love it and it's color. I have owned four canary yellow vehicles including a Porsche 124 and a Camaro Z28. Yellow is bright, cheerful and pretty much announces your presence. Also, the name FFLORA is an awesome name. From one veteran to you both, thank you for your service to our nation. I truly enjoy all of your adventures.
I've been driving my 2-door 2013 Jk Rubicon since 2013. I love it. Repairs made are a starter and lifters. It has a 2.5" lift, 35s, Warren 8274 winch. It goes anywhere that I'm dumb enough to go. I removed the back seat right after I bought it so I could have more room for cargo
Loved the 4-yr review. We just traded in my wife's 7 passenger vehicle (similar reasons) and added another Jeep to the fleet, this time a Gladiator Rubicon. Love it! We hope to add an Alu Cab Camper, with fireplace - a little Klamping.
Sweet Jeep, Regina! You can still add the Mopar LED headlights and LED Bulbs for the front turn signals, DRLs and fogs like I did, replacing those front JL candles, easy upgrade, and probably my favorite mod on my channel. I had to use a tazer to turn LEDs on to avoid flickering and enable halos but you might already have one for tires, or Jeep dealer can also enable all LED front lights. I spent around 1k for all front LED lights, and tazer, installed all myself. THANK YOU for being so awesome you two! Both Jeeps need the Mopar Gorilla Glass windshield, no more replacements, one and done. Rugged Ridge snorkel paired with KNN Air Filter helped my mpg by 3-4 on V6. Brad’s 392 is already good to go. TTYL amigos!
Since you bought that beautiful Jeep I love it and I’m really happy to hear that you are happy with it. Thanks Regina and Brad for another great video.
Thank you! I think she's pretty cute too! For me, having the roof and the fenders the same color as the body (in my case, all a happy yellow), makes the two-doors look so good!
Regena, I remember seeing the 1st video of your yellow "Fllora". I thought man that is one of the best Jeeps I have ever seen....... my 1st jeep was a Yellow '04 TJ, I did not have it long...... and for me looking through the used Jeep ads i came across a Orange '15 JKR (his name is OJ). My 1st car was a Yellow '75 Bug...... next came a Yellow '67-1/2 Mustang....... Yea, I like YELLOW.
Same for me. I had a 99 TJ 2 door lifted in my 20s, had a family and sold it for a 4 door ram. Drove that ram for 16 years! Now in my 40s and kids all grown up, special ordered a 21 rubicon 2 door 6 speed ragtop 3.6!!! I hope to drive this jeep until it no longer drives!
I have a '22 2dr Rubicon and I have been modding it for offroading/camping while as a toad behind my small Class C RV. As such it is a performance/weight/capability challenge. Outfitting so it can easily morph between a mall crawler, rock crawler, overlander depending on my next adventure is my endeavor. I am excited to hear you might hopefully focus a bit more on your wife's ride as she seems to be in the same boat as me. Keep up the great channel, Brad!!! Hope to see you on the trail sometime.
Recognized the '73 right away. Had one myself (not a super) in L13 Texas Yellow as well. Still at my dad's place, in pieces unfortunately. Learned to drive in his Karmann Ghia. Fun times! For the rest of my comment: Summary: we have a Chrysler Town & Country and we've had good luck but with several small issues and a few not so small, and one I know is a big one but it's so far only putting metal shavings in the oil filter and drain, seen with the last change. 4 years is NOT enough time to be impressed at "how well it's holding up" when other makes and models are easily going 150,000 miles plus with no issues. I'd be impressed with a *Chrysler* making it to 100,000 with no issues, but I'd *EXPECT* that from any other make and model built after 2015. Now the long version (sorry for the book): Our Chrysler Town & Country had a little over 70, maybe 75 thousand miles on it when the little plastic "Y" on the coolant line literally split its seam. Correct replacement was ridiculously priced for all that it is, I forget what it cost, but instead I got a generic aluminum tee. Works just fine for a fraction of the cost. That said, the van was 3 years old when we bought it, and had 36,000 miles then. So we'd had it about 4 or maybe 5 years before that happened, and now it's turning 90,000. The last oil change, there were ferric shavings in the filter and in the drain pan. Not sure what's grinding away but it's only a matter of time before we find out, hopefully as we pull into the driveway some Friday evening when I have the weekend to tear into it. Around 50 or 60k miles, we had to replace the shocks, which shouldn't have been necessary. In the van's defense, the GMC Terrain that backed into it should not have. But we shouldn't have needed shocks from that minor fender bender. Around the same time as the coolant line issue, we also had to take the transmission in to be rebuilt at 70,000ish. Going up a small hill not far from the house, the transmission gave way and dropped into 2nd gear "limp" mode. I forget what all the mechanic found (I'm just not equipped, nor do I have time with preteen kids, to DIY that crap today). I seem to recall the valve body needing replacement. We've had fair to good luck with this Chrysler powertrain but we've known a lot of people who have not. Let's not start on the ridiculous stuff like the TPMS sensors mysteriously being bad ever since the first tire change, the passenger airbag light occasionally indicating a warning, or the fact that once every month SiriusXM wipes out the presets my wife sets in the radio. I'm a Chrysler guy, but I have to admit. I've been driving my wife's 2004 Pontiac for 12 years ever since I ran my Daytona into a Passat's tail end, and it has had **ZERO** powertrain issues in that time, now approaching 80,000 miles. Granted, it's not hauling a fully occupied minivan with luggage cross country like we did with the van, but I'm not the easiest on the car. The Pontiac does have a bad volume control in the radio and the A/C makes a repetitive "clack clack clack" sound when I have it set anywhere other than halfway between recirc and regular chill modes, and much of the plastic in the cabin is deteriorating (and the vinyl/pleather of the dash is all warped and ugly), but mechanically the car is an easy 7 or 8 out of ten, at eighteen years of age, with not even the recommended amount of preventive maintenance that should be done. Hardly taking care of anything outside oil and tires, that little car just keeps on giving. I'm the last person to praise on GM products but in my limited experience, as much as I want a Gladiator, it's mainly for its looks and reputation of capability borrowed from the Wrangler line. I'm not looking forward to the problems Chrysler's 3.6L and whatever they're calling that 8-speed have in store for me. I'm hoping the manual isn't too rough to drive. I really miss rowing my own. Honestly though, I might just find me a nice late 60s sedan to daily drive. None of this added points of failure with each electronic component nonsense. My beetle from '73 got 25 miles per gallon and the only time it failed it was mechanical. Points, aftermarket fuel filter, generator belt. That engine just never quit if you maintained it even a little. Sorry for the book. Really like your channel, thanks for the vids, knowledge, and entertainment!
Brad, Regina is a star on this channel and compliments you beautifully. Rigina is gorgeous and I love seeing the two of you working side by side, a truly great partnership. It really works. Now we need more content with the yellow Jeep to top it off.
Should really consider the oracle oculus headlights. They are full plug and play and look factory if you dont wire the halo (I think they look better without the halo), they are made in USA, and they are so much cheaper than the factory ones. I put them in my jeep and couldnt be happier with them.
I really enjoyed this video content. I just owned my first 2 door JL Jeep Wrangler Sport. I totally agree with the pro and con, but for me i have a 4I 2.0L. No complaint, it does the job when i need to add a little pep and still gets an average of 20 mpg. Knowing that after 4 yrs and the honeymoon isn’t over sure give me joy and hope that I will feel the same with my 2-dr Jeep. I never thought of off-roading but lately been having the itch to join a off-roading group. After watching the video, looks like I will hold off on the wrench and save that cash for something useful in the near future. Thanks for the update.
That’s so cool my wife has a 2018 jeep JL 2 door and she absolutely loves it we live in central pennsylvania and every weekend we are trail riding we have a few modifications done to it but we love it and our dog is named flora
You talked about your windshield getting rock chips and having to replace it several times. Google windshield protection film. It works like PPF (paint protection film) only for windshields. This worked great on my Rengrade. I got my first rock chip before I got home from the dealer. Because the windshield had to come from Italy I waited 7 months. I put the film on it before I drove it. Because you guys go out in the sandy desert all the time you will have to be careful when you use your wipers so as not to scratch the film. Many detailers in your area can install it for you. I think if you were to do a review of the film a lot of Jeep owners would love you for it. You guys have a great channel, keep up the good work.
Hi there Mrs Trail Recon. I'm also another woman owned Hella Yella 2 door wrangler rubicon jl. I didn't want the full yellow (I have the black hard top and fenders) but I still love mine. Because I work from home mine ends up sitting in the garage for months at a time. I still haven't cracked 10,000 miles on it but I manage to get it out in the summer. I remove the top and doors for the summer time. I have used the winch on mine but not for vehicle recovery, I've used it mainly to recover my zero turn mower when it gets stuck in my very hilly yard. For mine I chose the oh so original name of Ruby. The day I brought my Jeep home I removed the rear seat and never put it back, so it's also a 2 seater for me with a brand new never sat in rear seat. The back area is the cargo area (recovery gear, air compressor, etc). For me I love shore driving in the summer time with the top and doors off. I have folded my windshield down several times and did buy the windshield tie down kit and that gets pretty breezy. Maybe some day you will make it out to the east coast.
Thank you for sharing! We're heading east for Overland Expo in Arrington, Virginia next week but we're heading back home as soon as it's over. We hope to get to the East Coast to do some exploring in the future!
Rock magnets for sure! When I ran into you guys at big bear my three month old 392 windshield was absolutely destroyed lol. My first jeep when I join the Marine Corps is a two-door TJ and I absolutely loved it! Once the babies came along it was hard to load a stroller and car seats in the backseat lol. Great video guys!
When our first son was born in Okinawa, I was driving a Honda Prelude and Brad was driving a CRX. It didn't take us long to trade in my Prelude for a Toyota Town Ace (minivan)...although, now that I think about it...why did I have to give up my fun car and not Brad?! 😂
I guess I’ve been super lucky in the windshield dept. i e owned 5 Wranglers and I can only remember replacing 1 windshield. I’ve had my current JLUR for 2.5 years and still on the OEM.
My TJ never had a cracked windshield in 12 years. I've had my JK for 6 and it's on number 7 or 8. One of them my wife was driving all alone. My guess is the tire spit a rock forward right into the path of the windshield.
If you've ever had a Jeep in the past then you understand the adventure feeling it always delivers. The new ones retain that feeling, but they're so much nicer now.
I bought a yellow 2006 Rubicon LJ new lifted it run 33’s,poison spider corners, sliders, root rack, up graded front bushings and control arms, and looking forward to a fridge/freezer and tailgate table! Daily driver, running strong!
It’s a beautiful Jeep Regina. You guys have tastefully modified it. I love the yellow as well. Please keep bringing us great content and Happy Jeeping!!
Great video, I always go back and forth about getting a 2 door, I've had a XJ, JKU, JLU, the only other vehicle a 2 door '93 Toyota Pickup. It's just my wife and I, but.......I like the option to sleep in my JLU on a DeepSleep mattress, at least for now. My JL is my daily driver and I take it on surf trips (boards go up top, I sleep inside), and off-roading/hiking weekend trips. I always debate if the pros (smaller footprint, more fun to drive (I think), etc.) would outweigh the cons (lack of storage/board space). If I got a 2 door, Hella Yella is what I would want, great looking Jeep, hopefully they will bring that color back.
my first car was a yellow 1972 superbeetle, had it since 1986..just recently sold it to my neighbor, so i still get to see it drive around the neighborhood..my 2021 glad rubi is Dozer yellow to carry on the 'yellow car tradition"..
This is awesome been following Brads journey for a while and now Regina joining the journey as well hits home. Me and my wife have had a 2010 2 door wrangler which is my everyday drive which I have changed everything I can, yes I’ve taken this little thing to Moap 4X and had so much fun with it without any problems besides my wallet 😂. My wife have her 4Runner and now 2 little boys that loves the outdoors and my wife finally agreed that’s time for us to upgrade so I took full advantage of it and ordered a all black 392 XR about a month ago looking at 3-6 months for delivery and I’m still in shock that I’m getting a 392 . Love the videos and keep it coming love from Colorado.
i am 17 and i have been in love with jeeps sense i was 5 years old i have been working and saving up hopefully can get it soon! i love off roading total dream and love watching your videos !!!
Oh my goodness, so grateful to you for the mention of the steering gear box replacement. Being utterly new to Wranglers I assumed the unsettling feeling at speed (both hands on the steering well, free play, wandering) was a "Jeep" thing, but now happily have uncovered the TSB and will be contacting my dealership tomorrow. IN other words your cheery video has both solved an issue I had and increased my safety while being a great video to watch PS-also have a Hella Yella which practically shouted at me to bring it home! Many thanks!
I have had 5 windshields replaced in my 2011 Wrangler until the glass guys modified the last install and did something with the gasket similar to newer Jeeps. From that time forward I had no issues with rocks/cracks. Now I have had a 2021 and plenty of rocks fly up on it and still no chips/cracks… knock on wood.
We just bought our first Jeep, We got the 2021 Gladiator Willys because we need a truck to haul stuff to the dump sometimes but also wanted a Jeep. We have another vehicle as well that will probably get traded in for a 2 door Wrangler. My last comment on this channel had to do with me getting bit by the Jeep bug, well I’m definitely hooked now! Thanks for all the great content!
I bought a yellow 2019 Wrangler JL Rubicon with the 2.0L engine (just like this one!) and matching top and fenders after seeing this Jeep. Now it has 30k miles. I am glad that Regena's Jeep is still doing well since maybe that means I will be just as lucky. Since the Jeep is parked in the garage, there is no plastic fading. I really love the maneuverability of 2 door jeeps. It is not good at carrying a lot of stuff, but removing the back seat made traveling a lot easier. It is still not good for carrying long objects.
Don't let the video fool you...we filmed in the garage for lighting and to avoid the street noises, but that is not where my poor Jeep permanently resides. She's usually in the driveway. 😔
I love it....Ive had all yellow cars...you get the weirdest attention people either LOVE them or someone will walk across the street just to tell you how much they hate the yellow...I love this jeep so much I want an exact copy
I can relate. My last two Jeeps have been black but I’d love a yellow one. I turned 16 on 11/05/1987 and my parents bought me a yellow 1974 Super Beetle. I tracked it down in 2000 bought it back and restored it.
My wife and I had stopped at some little convenience store and I saw a guy that looked familiar and realized it was the guy I sold my bug to. My parents had bought from a lady who was a nurse and the original owner. Her husband bought it back from the guy I sold it to. So when I saw the guy I sold it to he told me where he sold it and I called them. Apparently they were getting a divorce and looking to unload the bug. I swooped in and bought it.
I own a 2018 jlu rubicon and absolutely love it. Speaking of little sound, it has a 2.0 turbo. So, we can enjoy the sounds of nature a bit more. Your baby is awsome. Good name
I have my first Jeep ever. A 2 door, and my story is similar to yours. I drove mom cars and now my kids are all grown up so I am ready to have some fun! Thank you for making this video. I feel more confident that I will be ok learning to off-road.
You've got this! Just be patient with yourself and, while you definitely don't want to do anything that makes you feel unsafe or that's beyond your skill level, don't forget to challenge yourself once in a while. Getting outside and driving off-road is so much fun! ☺
I think I've had people in my backseat three times (maybe) in the past four years, which is why I am thinking about taking it out to see if I like not having it. We shall see!
Great video, as always… I just love hearing about Regena's perspective (I hope that I got the spelling correct this time) in regards to Jeeps, modifications and overlanding. From trails to tires to toilets… what a wonderful team you make.
Thank you so much! I always tell Brad that no one wants to hear what I have to say, so I truly appreciate your kind words. ☺ And yes, you spelled my name correctly. 😉
I loved my 2009 2 door! It was a blast to drive but wasn’t totally practical as I had two young girls and it can be a pain getting them into their car seats. Now they are almost grown adults, I could rethink about another 2 door.
I loved Bugs too.! When I was in high school (80’s) I tried to find one. Every one I looked at the struts had rusted through the fenders. Bugs were so fun to drive as my dad had a 70s Blue one.
We're currently on our 11th Jeep. (6th Wrangler) its a 02 TJ. Love it! Had 2 YJs, 2 JKUs (1 a Rubicon), and a 2000 TJ. TJs seem to be my favorite so far. To be fair though, I have yet to own a 2 door JK. I don't see a future without a Jeep!
I bought the first year model of a first year vehicle from a startup company and I love it, even with it's flaws and problems which in fairness haven't been that bad.
I ordered a two door Willys with manual trans. I’m retired, so I don’t have to do a bunch of commuting. My only concern will be getting my larger dog in and out of the back.
Yes to all those pro and cons! We love our 2 door yellow 2021 JL too! And kudos to you for driving those trails! I love being in the outdoors but I haven’t been brave enough to drive the more technical trails (other than fire roads). Next time my husband suggests I drive the trails, I’ll remember Regena and her bravery! ☺️ Thanks for another great video!
I really debated on getting a 2 door, yellow JK. I love the color but after test driving both two door and four door the JKU is just much more comfortable to daily drive
There is a difference in ride quality between a 2 door and 4 door for sure, but the suspension modification we've done really make this Jeep ride great down the road.
Good review! I, too, have a 2-door Wrangler. I think it's a classic look as well as nimble and fun to drive. I have the soft-top with half-doors which means I usually drive it topless unless it's raining or I'm on a dirt road. Cheers-
Enjoying my stock 2-door 2020 3.6L Rubicon in white. However, 21 Sep 2022, put in an order for a 2023 2.7L 2-door Bronco Badlands w/Sasquatch, Lux, tow + some other goodies. As with 6(?) previous rides, will probably sell it to CarMax. I like getting a no hassle check, plus CarMax always offered more than dealer trade-in offers. Have considered keeping both my Jeep and a Bronco, will see when I get the Bronco. If Brad can do it...
I love your VW Bug story! My first car was a white 1969 VW Beetle and it was a blast to drive. Fast forward to today and I am driving a 2021 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon JLU with the Extreme Recon package and I love it. It surprises me with how capable it is on the trails. My wife is also interested in driving on the trails. Maybe a Jeep Gladiator is in our future? Who knows.
The seat back adjuster. I'm buying my first Wrangler this week and when I was test driving them I could not for the life of me figure out how to adjust the back. "How do people drive these thigs?" I've had economy cars most of my driving life and was looking for a handle or something. Until i finally tugged on that weird handstrap. "Oh. That's weird."
I havre a 2 door 2016 JK Sport S and the #1 Con for me is the back seat not latching when up. It's good to see they added the strap on yours but I've had to use a tight bungie cord to keep it up. But that's the only thing I'd change about mine. Great video!
Nice Jeep! Regina’s old yellow beetle reminded me of my yellow 68 convertible beetle that I bought in San Diego, while in the Navy. It still runs around Tiffin Ohio to this day. I look forward to seeing her progression driving Flora! Anchors Aweigh!
Congrats on keeping the Jeep still looking it just came off the showroom floor. I'm also a bug fan and I think the Jeep covets the similar unexplainable adorable character of the bug. :)
I totally dig the Yellow. It's just different and looks good ... easy to see you in a crowd, I'm sure. ... HA! I totally dig that name!!. I'll go finish watching now
I've had MJs,XJs,ZJs & CJs...i have a TJ now & she's right...jeeps aren't for anyone worried about fuel mileage...I get around 12mpg (on a good day)... but it's worth it to be able to jump in and take off out in the woods anytime I feel like doing so... only ever had one other style 4x4 vehicle I liked more and it was my 86 tin top Sammy jx...I could follow the side by sides & 4wheelers wherever they went cus it was so small 🤠👍
Thanks for the review. I couldn’t decide between the four door or the two door. I ended up with the four door, no regrets…..my wife bought a two door with the 2.0T! Cheers.
You can do the Rubicon with your Jeep as it is now. I did it in a 1970 CJ5 with a detroit locker in the rear and an open diff in the front on 31" A/Ts.
Griots Ceramic 3 in one wax works great for a budget paint sealant. Only around $20 for a bottle. They also make a ceramic trim wipe with Cerakote that is guaranteed to last for 2 years or 200 washes. Will keep it looking great.
6:46 my man doesn’t think twice before changing the wheels and tires, bumpers, suspension, drive shaft, axels… but is too skeptical about changing the Gas cap. 😅
I love the off-roader community. ❤
Still looking forward to more 2 door content. I've had mine for 4 years 4 months and it's still bringing smiles.
You two are made for this. The passion for overlanding and the fact that you're both so well spoken.
@jim
Well, I was talking more about Brad and his wife.
Understanding her reasons for yellow I respect that. But wouldn't be my personal choice.
I prefer something that blends into the nature you're exploring.
Yellow associates me with school busses, taxi cabs and Ryder rental trucks. Lol.
@jim
Hahahaha. Pessimist.
Thank you so much! Glad we can share what we love with others. 😊
@jim Thank you! 😊
@jim
It is true.
I still am mad that I sold it. GGGreat job on your videos!!!!
I really like that your wife is getting more involved with the channel. She’s a natural. It gives me hope that my wife will come around to enjoying adventures a bit more.
Thank you! And hopefully you can get your wife out with you too!
Steven enjoy your freedom that's what Jeeps are all about 😛😅👍
I love seing couples and families all wheeling together. That's awesome! It's great to find things to do as a family that don't involve electronics! (Other than what makes modern vehicles go!)☺
I love my jeep. Interior ergonomics feel like it was literally made for me. Perfect fit
Exactly!
I like how clean the little Jeep is. Not loaded up with too much stuff.
Brad's vehicles have plenty of stuff! Mine is just fine without it all! 😂
I love the 4.56 gears in my Rubicon!
P.S. Thank you, your wife and your son for your service to our country!
Thank you for watching!
Thank you so much! And thank you for your service too!
I sold my Wrangler because I needed a truck. I miss that Jeep every day. Can't wait to order another one.
Man I've been hanging on for years just to see where this 2 dr is going. Can't wait to see more. cheers
Me too! I keep telling Brad he totally neglects my poor Jeep but that's going to change!
More Regina!
Always a pleasure to see you 2 doing videos together.
Always my favorite jeep on the channel. Love the yellow, if I could make my black jeep that yellow I would in a heart beat. Love it.
I have a 2018 JLU , I Love Love Love it also. Your channel has helped me with my upgrades. THANK YOU from this 60 something year old single lady.
Flora - great name. You can’t just name your Jeeps on the first day; those names never stick.
Right! It has to fit! 😊
Three of you, all in the same family, Navy corpsmen! Thank you all very much for your service. And Semper Fidelis, too!
Since you bought that beautiful Jeep I love it and I’m really happy to hear that you are happy with it. Thanks Regina and Brad for another great video.
Thank you!😊
I’ve never been a fan of the look of a 2 door Jeep, but yours is so adorable and has me giving it a second thought.
Thank you! I think she's pretty cute too! For me, having the roof and the fenders the same color as the body (in my case, all a happy yellow), makes the two-doors look so good!
Another 2door fan. It’s where it all started.
Fun times!
For the rest of my comment:
Summary: we have a Chrysler Town & Country and we've had good luck but with several small issues and a few not so small, and one I know is a big one but it's so far only putting metal shavings in the oil filter and drain, seen with the last change.
Now the long version (sorry for the book):
Our Chrysler Town & Country had a little over 70, maybe 75 thousand miles on it when the little plastic "Y" on the coolant line literally split its seam.
I've been driving my wife's 2004 Pontiac for 12 years ever since I ran my Daytona into a Passat's tail end, and it has had
**ZERO**
powertrain issues in that time, now approaching 80,000 miles.
Excellent video for the 2door owners amongst us 👍👍
Brad, Regina is a star on this channel and compliments you beautifully. Rigina is gorgeous and I love seeing the two of you working side by side, a truly great partnership. It really works. Now we need more content with the yellow Jeep to top it off.
Literally the best and my favorite family endeavor on RUclips!
Awwwww, that's an awesome name for your pup!☺
Thank you! You 2 are the best! C 2/75 RGR. RN BSN CCRN. Now PA. I need to be on the trail with you!
bro...... she gets me. all good points. i love my 4 door, she just made me love it more.
The little Jeep is awesome! We love our 2dr. Sometimes the room in it sucks. But that’s not what it’s for. The 392 wheels look perfect.
Thank you! I sure love mine!
It’s a beautiful Jeep Regina. You guys have tastefully modified it. I love the yellow as well. Please keep bringing us great content and Happy Jeeping!!
Thank you so much!
It was such a pleasure to meet you and Brad at Overland Expo East!!!!!!
So glad we got to meet!
I got some led bulbs from headlight revolution for my ram.very impressed!! Sv4 with the anti flicker
I really wish I had kept my Bug! I really miss her!
I have the same winch on my 2 door and I've used it 7 times, to pull out other people out of ditches, etc. Even saved a cliff dangler a few years ago.
My Jeep is a 2016 Willys JKU in Crystal Granite, but I absolutely love the yellow vibe of Fllora. Well done Regina!
Thank you! Jeeps are so much fun! 😄
I removed the rear seat of my 2014 2 door. Put in a Quadratec rubber mat. Couldn’t be happier, especially since the rear seat was never ever used.
Good to know! I'm definitely going to give a try and see how I like not having my backseat. Time will tell!
@@regenakowitz Since Brad is helping you now, your Jeep should be the one in the garage!
I love it....Ive had all yellow cars...you get the weirdest attention people either LOVE them or someone will walk across the street just to tell you how much they hate the yellow...I love this jeep so much I want an exact copy
Good luck finding one! It's like a unicorn! 😂
I can relate. My last two Jeeps have been black but I’d love a yellow one. I turned 16 on 11/05/1987 and my parents bought me a yellow 1974 Super Beetle. I tracked it down in 2000 bought it back and restored it.
Oh my gosh! That's awesome! I'd love to track down my bug and get her back!
Good name
Thank you!☺
My wife drove Fins N Things when we were in Moab. She loved it and did great.
It's such a fun and exhilarating trail!
@@regenakowitz Hope to see you guys at Overland Expo East.
My last Jeep was a two door. It was dark grey. I was almost always dirty. So I named it SUSUSUCIO.
i have a 2 door jl willys, its great. i prefer the look over the 4 doors but now thinking about removing rear seats since no one uses them lol
I think I've had people in my backseat three times (maybe) in the past four years, which is why I am thinking about taking it out to see if I like not having it. We shall see!
Jeep = Happy….all you need to know. Great video and great to hear Regina’s perspective. Still surprised Brad didn’t have a cup of coffee in his hand!
That was me! After the boys came along, it was so long Honda Prelude, hello minivans and giant SUVs. Now that they're grown, I've downsized!
Love it. I ordered my 2-door JLR on 9/21 and I can't wait to get it!
Wow! Regina you’ve gone from reluctant camera dodger to a real pro! Amazing! Can’t wait for y’all next adventure!
Love the Jeep and those wheels, the color is just perfect!
Yes, it is isn't it? 😊
Love it! Jeeps rule! You either get it or you don’t. Will always have a Jeep❤️
I loved Bugs too.! When I was in high school (80’s) I tried to find one. Every one I looked at the struts had rusted through the fenders. Bugs were so fun to drive as my dad had a 70s Blue one.
VWs are the best! I really wish I'd kept mine because she was in pristine condition!
Thank you both for your service!
Flora is a beauty! I just bought a 2 door in June, and I'm loving it. So glad I found your channel - so much knowledge and inspiration here. 💛
Thank you and congrats on the new Jeep!
Hope all is well with you and your family - have a great weekend!
Thank you! You too!
Thank you!
Great review! I really enjoy the videos with you guys together. What a team!!
Thanks! 😊
This channel is amazing. Convinced us to get a 4xe.
Thank you!
I still own and love my 2018 2-door JL too!
Who knows.
VWs and Jeeps are the best! 😄
Ugh! If that were the case with the 2018s, my backseat probably would have been gone long ago!
Nice Jeep! Regina’s old yellow beetle reminded me of my yellow 68 convertible beetle that I bought in San Diego, while in the Navy. It still runs around Tiffin Ohio to this day. I look forward to seeing her progression driving Flora! Anchors Aweigh!
Thank you! And I really miss my little Bug!
Congrats on keeping the Jeep still looking it just came off the showroom floor. I'm also a bug fan and I think the Jeep covets the similar unexplainable adorable character of the bug. :)
Especially the two-door Jeep and that's why I was so particular about what I wanted. ☺
Yesss more 2 door Jeep content!!
That's what I've been saying! 😉
I totally dig the Yellow. It's just different and looks good ... easy to see you in a crowd, I'm sure. ... HA! I totally dig that name!!. I'll go finish watching now
Love the tribute in the name, love from a air force brother
I've had MJs,XJs,ZJs & CJs...i have a TJ now & she's right...jeeps aren't for anyone worried about fuel mileage...I get around 12mpg (on a good day)... but it's worth it to be able to jump in and take off out in the woods anytime I feel like doing so... only ever had one other style 4x4 vehicle I liked more and it was my 86 tin top Sammy jx...I could follow the side by sides & 4wheelers wherever they went cus it was so small
🤠👍
Thanks for the review. I couldn’t decide between the four door or the two door. I ended up with the four door, no regrets…..my wife bought a two door with the 2.0T! Cheers.
Love my JL Rubicon 2 door... first thing I did was remove the back seat. Great review!!!
Thank you!
Sweet couple..... Brad make her Happy. Your Fortunate!!!!!!!
Thank you!😊
Man, your videos are super helpful. And, now I know, NAVY IS IN THE HOUSE! Ex tin-can sailor from Pearl Harbor back in the 80's...
Thank you!
You can do the Rubicon with your Jeep as it is now. I did it in a 1970 CJ5 with a detroit locker in the rear and an open diff in the front on 31" A/Ts.
Good to know!
Griots Ceramic 3 in one wax works great for a budget paint sealant. Only around $20 for a bottle. They also make a ceramic trim wipe with Cerakote that is guaranteed to last for 2 years or 200 washes. Will keep it looking great.
We picked up a 2dr Wrangler Sport in June and my wife loves it. Glad you are still enjoying it. Great video and content as always. Thanks.
Thank you!
