Plymouth Fury - 383 Mopar sound - Take off - Burnout

1966 Plymouth Fury project. Car has a mild 383, 727, and now 4.11 gears. I’m currently running into an issue where I can’t manually shift from 1-2 without letting off (even with kickdown adjusted perfectly) and the secondaries not reopening at high rpms. So that limits me here. Still fun none the less!!
Exhaust is HP manifolds,2.5 system, x-pipe, and magnaflow style mufflers.

Luv it reminds me when I was back in high school doing burnouts in the parking lot with my duster 340 wedge a four speed out of the factory., that car hooked up.
