I'm sure someone will find a way to root the S7+ to get higher versions of android once that time runs out. There's a zero percent chance the hardware won't be able to handle it, it's just an artificial push to get people to buy their newer products anyway.
The Green tint issue on Tab S7+ in dark scenes or at lower brightness level is a big bummer and i despise it every time i watch movie e.g Thirteen Lives cave scenes. I thought my unit is bad but i guess this problem is across all Tab S7+ devices !!!. I'm so relieved and eclectic that other people also encounter this Green tint issue I was going nuts pulling my hair, I did lot of research and come to conclusion that the above issue is called color bending and maybedownload data bandwidth compression causing it but YOU nailed it , it is Green Tint anamoly, Thank you Thank you so much for your effort in this video comparision. As a matter of fact its 12:41 am my time and i'm comparing just bought Tab S8+ with Tab S7+ and it's fact i don't see any green tint on Tab S8+ more over colors are also very accurate on Tab S8+, only thing i'm noticing is that at same brightness level Tab S7+ is more brighter then Tab S8+ on all kind of viewing be it gallery pics or videos or wallpaper !!! I don't know if it's a good thing or bad please let me know if you notice this difference too. Yeah i'm trading in my Tab S7+ for Tab S8+ after one week of testing and comparing,Samsung is giving $500+ off on Tab S8+ this holiday season .
When comparing tablets, I find it hard to understand which tablet you are referring to because you don't emphasize the number 7 or 8 only tab. Like I have to listen harder to your fast-talking to differentiate between the two. But I got the drift. (I still gave a thumbs up.)
Yeah I need to work on my comparisons in general. I have a habit of saying “this one” vs “this one” and I end up covering it with b-roll so it makes it even harder to understand which device I am talking about
Nah, it'll still be a powerful device. Battery I think will be its weakest point moving forward but I still think it should be more than powerful enough to last a while longer.
Is the S7+ still a good option in 2023?? I am getting it at a much cheaper price than s8+. My main concern is S-pen latency. Should I get the S8+ or S7+?
In 2023 I think you're better off getting the Tab S8+. Battery life, performance, and software support is going to be much better on the Tab S8+. How much cheaper are we talking?
Do not buy it. I just bought a 128gb 7+ and can't stand the green tint. Got refurbished excellent for $306 and now I really want to spend the extra 200 to get the 8+
Your video is simple and understandable except for the "this one... that one," but I understood it. Nice work. I am having confusion on which to choose between the S7 Plus for 399 USD and the S8 for 480 USD. I am a student, and I'm probably going to use it for a long time. but my only concern is the software update with s7plus. From the point of view of the student for daily usage, is it going to be okay without the updates? The only things that come to mind when thinking of the S8 are the new updates, the new model, and, of course, the processor. Can you help me choose?
I personally would go for the Tab S7 plus, it’s slightly bigger so a bigger canvas and it’s oled. I think you’ll be fine with the currently updates on the tab s7 plus. Unless you desire the latest specs and features. But Samsung notes will but what matters most as far as updates if you decide to use Samsung notes (which I highly recommend you do)
I would but I honestly don't think i am competent enough and qualified to give you a good test with a good analysis. But if I have time I'll consider it!
I own the iPad mini 4 that came out 7 yrs ago. It still got the last ios update. I purchased the Samsung tab s8 and loved it but kept hearing about the poor update support from samsung. So I returned it for an iPad pro. Support and resell value are very important and if Samsung can't see it or doesn't care then I think for tablets ipads are for me.
the mini 4 has become unsable under iPadOS 14 and 15... If I knew I would have stopped updating at 13... Samsung is guaranteing 5 years of security and 4 upgrades (so from 12, to 13, to 14 to 15 to 16), if that's not caring when others like Lenovo have never given more that 1 upgrade to any of their Android tablets I don't know what is.... And Apple guarantees nothing, they could easily cut the 2017 iPad with A9 together with the older ones and the iPhone 6S and SE (both with A9) in a few months (and they are rumored to do just that)
Apple updates don’t get you all the new features with updates and they have been know to sabotage (slow down or cripple) older products with updates to try to force users to buy new hardware. I’m not convinced that all those updates are worth having if they are used to degrade your product.
Honestly tab S8, the plus side of the S7+ is only an oled display and slightly bigger display and if you absolutely need that, which is nice for watching content don’t get me wrong. But the tab s8’s display is more than good enough. You’ll be getting a newer processor more ram and the biggest thing for me, longer software support. Until 2026 vs 2023

Will the tab s7+ become slow and poor performance due to lack of updates? Or will it continue to provide the same speed and performance?

@TacoTechTalk $200 difference?

@@TacoTechTalk Thank you for your answer☺
The s8plus will continue to get updates, the s7plus will not
How is netflix hdr content viewing experience.
It has 500 nits brightness.
Does that really make a difference in watching hdr content ?
Please reply me
Which tab lasts more (battery) s7 plus or s8 plus ?
As I no longer have the Tab S7 plus its hard to say but I would probably say they are roughly the same especially depending on your usage.
2:57 which of them has a green screen? 7 or 8
The tab S7+, it's very subtle, and you only really notice it when you have the brightness low, dark environment, and are on a dark/black background.
敗北より死 = failure is not an option -- LOL -- anyway, strange here in Sweden, a 7+ costs as much as a 8+.
Can we use Tab s8 S-pen on tab s7?
I was able to use the tab S7 plus pen on the tab S8 series of tablets and vice versa. So I'd assume yes.
Unless it 5 years don't bother. My tab A 10.5 was fine. But slow so I invested in this s8. And thats good enough for me.
Please do a gaming test between s7+ and s8+ using fps meter on game's like Genshin Impact.
I would but I honestly don't think i am competent enough and qualified to give you a good test with a good analysis. But if I have time I'll consider it!
Summary: Don't bother to upgrade because it isn't one that's worthy. I picked an 'as new' Tab S7 Plus 5G for £336 at Amazon and could not be happier.
Great comparison review

S8+ will get 4 yrs of guaranteed os update.

Just wanna add this to my earlier text is that it's not Green tint on my ta let it's more like Grey blob in blacks of the scen.e
S8+ processor is an upgrade. SD gen 1 from SD 865+
Tab s7 tablecloth please🙏🙏
Please differentiate in future videos. Are you referring to the 7+...8+???
Sorry about that, i have a terrible habit of saying this one, that one, instead of saying the name of the device.
Drain test, please
I would, but i unfortunately traded in my s7+
@@TacoTechTalk which one is a better deal, S7+ or S8(not plus) ?

@@TacoTechTalk I agree with you. In addition, S8 has an adaptive display, and surprisingly has better battery than S8+. Thank you 😇
Oh yeah very true almost forgot about that! No problem!
I cant understand you when you say 7 or 8
Yeah Sorry about that, trying to get better at presenting and speaking

Keep up the good work. I will also try to listen harder.
Hahaha nah you good, I tend to mumble a lot. Appreciate it tho
La traducción no sirve para nada.
Your voice is not good use a better mic
Any recommendations?
@@TacoTechTalk you sounded just fine lol
Haha thanks mate
