Ah, Led Zeppelin. Greatest rock band in history. Page, Plant and Jones with Bonham's son, Jason, sitting in on drums. Great performance! They broke the world record for concert ticket requests at 20 million for a concert hall that only held 20K people. Lots of disappointed fans, me being one of them. lol Edit: When you have the time, I recommend watching the entire concert. They were on fire!
Been a Zeppelin fan for 50 years!! They still kill it, at an older age also! That wouldn't fly today with all machines doing it for you.. Back in the day especially the 70's musicians they had raw talent! They actually had too have a voice or play an instrument to make it big!! Not today's music they won't be heard in 50 years from now! In my opinion! Keep great music 🎶🎵 alive ❤❤
The GOATS…THIS IS AFTER 25 years since they disbanded after their Drummer Bonzo passed, it’s his son on the drums! They are all there! Plant, Paul, and Page! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 THE GOATS OF GOATS!
The greatest band to ever grace the stage. The way music should be performed. Not for the money but for the true love of mastering their craft to perfection. 4 of the best that have ever done it. Long live the mighty ZEP 🤘🤘🤘
Yes they made more money then I imagine they were expecting, as great as they were/it should have been much more. But it was because music is a part of their souls, I’m so glad they shared it with the world.
Many of their live songs are so amazing, two of my favorites are, Madison Square Gardens (1973) Since I’ve Been Loving You. The other is Earls Court (1975), In My Time Of Dying. Everything from MSG (1973) was great, since their movie The Song Remains The Same was filmed at those 3 nights of concerts. Yes both Plant & Page improv at live performances, which makes every concert unique. The bass of Pages solos are the same, but he also adds to them, making them longer. Of course Plants vocals, whatever his lungs & mouth want to produce, but it always is amazing. Thanks for your reaction, the more Led Zeppelin, the happier we will be. This song at Knebworth (1979) is also amazing.
Robert Plant is the quintessential rock singer. He set the bar for all who followed. I saw Led Zeppelin in concert twice but I never saw the do this song. Robert Plant is 33 days younger than me. 😊
Grew up listening to Led Zeppelin. I'm the youngest in my family (and I'm 57) my older brother and sisters loved Led Zeppelin, and so I was exposed to their music as it was being released. Their Music Stands The Test of Time! ❤❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🔥
That concert was a triumph of epic proportions. The previous reunions with the three were mostly unfortunate. This one was a fitting ending to Led Zeppelin. One that both the fans and the band deserved.
Oh, let the sun beat down upon my face And stars fill my dream I'm a traveler of both time and space To be where I have been To sit with elders of the gentle race This world has seldom seen They talk of days for which they sit and wait All will be revealed Talk in song from tongues of lilting grace Sounds caress my ear And not a word I heard could I relate The story was quite clear Oh, baby, I been blind Oh, yeah, mama, there ain't no denyin' Oh, ooh yes, I been blind Mama, mama, ain't no denyin', no denyin' All I see turns to brown As the sun burns the ground And my eyes fill with sand As I scan this wasted land Try to find, try to find the way I feel Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace Like sorts inside a dream Leave the path that led me to that place Yellow desert stream My shangri la beneath the summer moon I will return again As the dust that floats high in June We're moving through Kashmir Oh, father of the four winds fill my sails Cross the sea of years With no provision but an open face Along the straits of fear Oh, when I want, when I'm on my way, yeah And my feet wear my fickle way to stay Ooh, yeah yeah, oh, yeah yeah, But I'm down oh, yeah yeah, oh, yeah Yeah, but I'm down, so down Ooh, my baby, oh, my baby Let me take you there Come on, oh let me take you there Let me take you there
Welcome to the 70s music. The greatest decade for the creation of music. Enjoy your journey with bands like Led , Floyd, Yes, Genesis, Deep Purple, ELO, ELP , Jethro Tull, Queen...
Like most people, when I heard "Stairway to Heaven" the first time in '71, it was my favorite. Then, in '75 when "Physical Graffiti" came out and I heard this, all bets were off. I heard Robert say he'd rather be remembered for this song than "Stairway", I agree wholeheartedly.
Original Page, Plant AND John Paul Jones! And Bonzo’s son Jason, playing his dad’s kit and using his dad’s sticks. Jason is an excellent drummer in his own right…has his own Zeppelin tribute band and also tours in Sammy Hagar’s band . He was also in a supergroup called Black Country Communion with virtuoso guitarist Joe Bonamass and bassist and vocalist Glenn Hughes of Deep Purple. Great classic rock. He’s a Great drummer, but he would be the first to tell you that he’s not in the same league as his dad. His dad was a generational talent There’s a clip on RUclips of Jason playing “with” his dad (from an old clip). He plays with him up to a point , and then he just has to stop and let his dad carry on.
Out of the park! Jason Bonham's father, John, would be proud of him. Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were outstanding. At their age. Like fine wine.
Nice reaction to the goats of rock with son. I wore out all their albums. You might love the goats of prog, a band called YES, and a song called Roundabout off the Fragile album. The live version from Yessongs is best. Been dancing to Roundabout for 53yrs ✨️🎶✨️
Date of this performance December 10, 2007. Studio version originally released on their 1975 double album "Physical Graffiti". en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kashmir_(song)
This is the original Led Zeppelin all the same members except the drummer because John Bonham passed away back in 1980 but that's Jason Bonham on drums John Bonham's son! So yes this is the original Led Zeppelin Jason Bonham was channeling his father in honor of his father!
Phil Collins doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as Zeppelin and Floyd! The 2 greatest rock bands of all-time. Only the Beatles were bigger.
All of the names are still there, but Jason is taking his dads seat on the drums ! ( R.I.P Bonzo ) Greatest Band EVER ! All of them are exceptional at their craft ( Yes... Jason is no Bonzo, but he gets the job done )
It is the original led Zeppelin! Accept the drummer who is Jason Bonham John Bonham's son! So to me it's still the original Zeppelin! Jason was channeling his dad Bonzo!
That was technically the original members. The three old guys are the original band members and the drummer is the son of the original drummers. Three members ...Plant ..Page....Jones......and son of John Bonham Jason Bonham

The held a lottery for those 20,000 tickets, which was really a cool & great idea.
I didn't get a ticket 😢
@@sicotshit7068 Over 20 million entrants within hours, crashed the system.
@@juliemanarin4127I had a ticket as I found out later and thought it was a hoax :(
The bassist and keyboards is the original John Paul Jones. The only nonmember is the drummer. It's Jason Bonham, the original drummer's son.
The next best thing to the original band in my opinion, & Jason made his dad very proud.
Yes!
BY FAR, the best live version of ANY song. EVER .
Average age of the three original members in this performance is 61 ! Rock & Roll keeps you young !
20 million ticket requests. 20,000 lucky lucky people to see that live. ❤

They killed it and walked away .... A one off performance.

He and Greg Allman.....Greg's best blues singer in rock history but Robert Plant has a range that's beyond anyone's.

One of my favorite pieces of theirs. A beautiful composition and a great touch of the Orient. Pure orgasm! All the best to you too!
Oh, let the sun beat down upon my face
And stars fill my dream
I'm a traveler of both time and space
To be where I have been
To sit with elders of the gentle race
This world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait

Talk in song from tongues of lilting grace
Sounds caress my ear
And not a word I heard could I relate
The story was quite clear
Oh, baby, I been blind
Oh, yeah, mama, there ain't no denyin'
Oh, ooh yes, I been blind
Mama, mama, ain't no denyin', no denyin'
All I see turns to brown
As the sun burns the ground
And my eyes fill with sand
As I scan this wasted land
Try to find, try to find the way I feel
Oh, pilot of the storm who leaves no trace
Like sorts inside a dream
Leave the path that led me to that place
Yellow desert stream
My shangri la beneath the summer moon
I will return again
As the dust that floats high in June
We're moving through Kashmir
Oh, father of the four winds fill my sails
Cross the sea of years
With no provision but an open face
Along the straits of fear
Oh, when I want, when I'm on my way, yeah
And my feet wear my fickle way to stay
Ooh, yeah yeah, oh, yeah yeah,
But I'm down oh, yeah yeah, oh, yeah
Yeah, but I'm down, so down
Ooh, my baby, oh, my baby
Let me take you there
Come on, oh let me take you there
Let me take you there

It's the GOATS!!! Can't go wrong with these guys. Sooo many iconic songs to hear.
Jason killed the drums his dad would be proud

GOATs doing GOAT things.
My favorite Zepp masterpiece and the one that, when I close my eyes, I see it live from 1977.
Greatest rock performance of all time.
They are the greatest band of all time! 🤘😎
Still amazing after all those years
You’ve just stumbled across this amazing vocalist as I did 2 years ago! Keep on the journey. You’ll be amazed every time!
Original Page, Plant AND John Paul Jones! And Bonzo’s son Jason, playing his dad’s kit and using his dad’s sticks. Three of the four are original members at the time of this recording, the dude on drums is John Bonham's son
Out of the park! Jason Bonham's father, John, would be proud of him. Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones were outstanding. At their age. Like fine wine.
As old as they were here...in their 60s...STILL the greatest! Jason Bonham did his daddy proud! This was in 2007.
THAK YOU!!!!!

Rock Gods and my favorite band since 1969😊
They aren’t one of the best, they are the GREATEST EVER, & Plant is the Greatest front man ever.
literally! Every member considered top tier best of the best. RIP, Bonzo.

Ji.my Robert and JPJ with Jason Bonham on his daddy's drums! The 3 original members!

Greatest Band EVER !
All of them are exceptional at their craft ( Yes... Jason is no Bonzo, but he gets the job done )
Robert plant said kasmine was their signature song notstairway to heaven
One of the best live performances ever, right up there with Frank Zappa.
........................G.O.A.T...................G.O.A.T.........................G.O.A.T...........................G.O.A.T................G.O.A.T......................................
Same band jimmy Roberto John paul, drummer is son of orig drummer Jason
It is the original led Zeppelin! Accept the drummer who is Jason Bonham John Bonham's son! So to me it's still the original Zeppelin! Jason was channeling his dad Bonzo!
Jimmy Page playing his #3 Les Paul gave the song a harder edge, as opposed to his Danelectro.
The only member not there is Bonham
But his son was, so close enough.
Umm, these are the same guys with the exception of the drummer who is the son of the original who passed in 1980
Very very very slight correction... You said "Rock Stars".... I think you meant "ROCK GODS" 😂
NOT LED ZEPPELIN !!!!!
it's Jimmy Page, Robert Plant , John Paul Jones and son of the late and original drummer Jason Bonham ( john Bonham d. )
ROCK LEGENDS 🔥🔥🔥🎙🔉🌟
There are cut above rock stars. They're rock gods and that's a rap
