Love Alter Bridge. Back in the 90's, they were known as Creed with a different singer. Then Myles Kennedy joined them and the rest is history. This song is about Myles good friend who sold him his first guitar and sadly passed away to something apparently very painful. His friend is now the Blackbird flying away to wherever it is we go and Myles does not want him to be broken anymore and one day will fly and meet him again. Awesome song.
This is the song that really hooked me on the band. Still one of my all-time favorite hard rock/metal songs. "Metalingus" is another favorite of my mine; highly recommend. And better late than never, I say! 😁 I'd recommend all studio reactions mostly, except for one: "Words Darker Than Their Wings" from The Royal Albert Hall. That's one I'd be willing to say is better than the studio version of the song (you'll see why). Looking forward to more AB!

A true masterpiece. So beautiful and emotional. And that guitar solo...🤩 They have many amazing songs, you could try something heavier as Isolation, Ties that bind, Metalingus. Great video, glad you like them.

Very nice vocals! Myles amazing breath and vocal control - holds an extended note near the end that lasts around 35 seconds on one breath! Killer double lead solo by both Myles then Mark! Yes they have many numerous faster and heavier songs, as well as softer numbers as well. Always epic 💪
wanna go heavier go for White Knuckles, Bleed it Dry, Symphoney of agoney, slip to the void I like all those heavier stuff but the slower stuff is what I like more
