I really wish other reaction channels would do what you do. Concentrate on the show they are reacting to and put out several episodes per week. Putting out shows once per week is so out of date.
Hoping your channel continues to grow, you deserve it 🎉🎉🎉

      You're welcome 😊
I think a lot of reactors haven't realised times have changed. They still think like network TV stations and put out shows once a week. But the rise of streaming services means people are used to binging shows, and they're starting to expect reaction channels to follow suit

This series is absolutely amazing right out of the gate starting in season 1. You are in for some incredible twists and turns that will leave you speechless. The brilliance of this series is that it completely fills in all of the "back stories" to the people who make up Breaking Bad. You will understand why these characters are the way they are. This is why I love BCS!

Yes, Johnathan Banks was nominated for an Emmy for this episode, no he didn’t win, he lost out to Peter Dinklage in a year when Game of Thrones was at it’s peak both popularly & creatively, although even Dinklage has said that Banks should have won it.
Goddam, that “I broke my boy” speech, I’ll never be able to hear that without choking up.

This show is definitely has been Emmy snubbed. But they are up for more this year but with the competition, I don’t think they snag any this year. 😢

    • @briangonigal3974
      @briangonigal3974 11 месяцев назад +1

@@notoriouslybratty it’s only a fluke of timing that they were even eligible for this year’s awards, the show’s last episodes aired right at the beginning of the eligibility period for this year, but at this point BCS has been over & done for a year, more awards now would literally promote nothing and the industry mostly wants to reward shows that people are at least still talking about, so no, I really don’t see it happening either.

Jonathan Banks is a freakin pickpocket! If you rewatch the coffee spilling scene you see him lift the notebook out of the jacket pocket and put it into his back pocket. Can’t believe they pulled that shot off.

Banks came up with Mikes backstory himself during Breaking Bad... he told Vince and Peter "thats not my daughter, thats my daughter in law"... then laid out the story about his son. The liked it so much they decided to finally use it here.
2 other Banks roles to look out for... GREMLINS, where he plays the deputy, and THE ADVENTURES OF BUCKAROO BANZAI where hes a mental hospital attendant who gets killed by John Lithgow.

We open here with Mike and his daughter-in-law Stacey Ehrmantraut, good to see a Tipperary girl do such a great job with the American accent. Mike sees the dodgy Vet to see to his wound, who adds a bit a comedy when he says 'I can give you a cone for that'. Interestingly enough the character of Stacey made one appearance in Breaking Bad episode Full Measure played by and unknown actress with no dialogue. Painful for Mike to go over the circumstances of Matt, his son's death as the Philly cops question him. Jimmy spills the coffee as Mike suggested but why? When Mike storms around the Stacey's house he is so angry with Stacey, but she tells him she found the cash. Mike insisting Matt wasn't a dirty cop. Great scene with Mike on the back of cop car accusing Fensky and Hoffman of killing Matt. Super scene when Mike pulls out the gun on the two cops who were plotting to kill him as well. Very telling when Mike says to Stacey 'Matt wasn't dirty, I was, everyone was in that precinct'. Terrific final scene when Mike says to Stacey 'can you live with it' with the camera panning away. Jonathan Banks does a brilliant job here in his own episode, again this Series enabled the characters from Breaking Bad to be so much more developed with amazing back stories built around them.

The only time Mike loses his cool in the entire canon. Is when Stacey implies his son was dirty.
The thing a father fears most isn’t burying his son. It’s watching his kids make the same mistakes he did.
Not only did Mike watch it, he contributed to it.
Almost nothing could push Mike to his breaking point. But his culpability in his son’s loss of innocence weighs on him far more than Mattys death does.

Mike is too much in control to ever allow himself to sink into drinking. Making people believe he was "drinking himself to death" was his undercover to get the M.F.s who murdered his son, and he knew he'd find them hanging out in a cop bar. Good shirt choice, Elie. Go Raptors! 🇨🇦

I’d like to offer some polite critique. I really don’t like when reactors try to predict the story. I prefer when y’all comment on the events on screen. Predictions, to me, are always cheap and lazy, even if you’re right. It’s distracting. That said, I do enjoy your happy personality
