First time watching better call saul (reaction) Развлечения
You guys really keeping me going atm I hope you are enjoying these. Gonna be doing a s5 and Christmas stream this weekend can't wait to see you there.
I CANT WAIT, I love your streams ❤
Then the pandemic happened and it was 2 years before we found out the rest of the story.
You're lucky to be watching this now. People who watched the series as it aired had to wait two-days short of two years between S5 & S6.
That kitchen! Are you telling me that a pan just happens to catch fire like that? No! He orchestrated it! Jim-- I mean Nacho!
Lalo is scary af, what a top tier villain and perfect casting. Cant wait for season 6!
The more I rewatch these scenes, the more Kim defending Jimmy sounds like an addict rationalizing her habit. But a really articulate one who happens to be an excellent lawyer.
That last moment between Kim and Jimmy mirrors the end of season 4, but now it's Kim with the finger guns followed by the slow pull away from a stunned Jimmy. I get that she has her reasons for despising Howard, but obviously I still can't condone pulling a career hit job on him. And she's the kind of person who when pushed will push back twice as hard, we've seen that when people speak ill of Jimmy to her. Howard did slip up when he (incorrectly) concluded that Jimmy was involved in her decision to quit her job and go her own way, but he was on the nose about everything else. He might have been able to convince her that Jimmy needed help if he hadn't fumbled on that one point.
Kim's double guns before her shower scared me more than Lalo marching towards revenge at the end.
She tuned totally during the episode.
35:37 I don't think Jimmy likes mint chip ice cream anymore after he had to drop that cone to get into Nacho's car
That last dude should've just said they failed and just save everyone any stress 😂
Because of Covid, we had to wait two years between S5 and 6. It was rough.
This episode was released when the pandemic started, and filming stopped shortly afterwards. So those of us watching it live had to wait a looooooong time to see how this cliffhanger was resolved.
Also, if you notice anything odd about certain scenes from here onwards (without spoiling anything), it’s because they had to adhere to certain covid-protocols while filming. You might also notice certain actors suddenly looking a little bit older, and also sicker. Specifically Bob Odenkirk who suffered a heart attack and fell unconscious while filming a specific scene (Better Call Saul almost had a premature end).
Covid also might’ve prevented the producers from filming certain scenes they had planned. The delay in filming caused a certain actor to be replaced (which confused a lot of people) because the updated filming schedule clashed with this actor’s prior commitments.
it's been a treat to share with you this BCS journey thus far, mate
Pleasure mate
The scene at 24:12 I do think Jimmy was about to break up with her but changed his mind, or at least decided to wait. Kim then caught that impression and then tried all the harder to appeal to Jimmy’s interests
Vindictive, malicious Kim is scary as fuck because we know that she's probably smart enough to achieve her end. Jimmy's bewildered, frightened face is just precious: finally staring the results of his bad influence in the face and realizing that he has no control over where it goes.
Elie, You got a titans fan here so good luck this weekend! Also prepare yourself for a monster season here bruv. The season to close the Breaking Bad world, its so wonderful in every way. Much love Elie #TeamHoward
As a Howard fan since before the twist in Season One who kept arguing that he was a main character on the show and so he wouldn't exit each time people thought he was done; despite the dread at Kim and Jimmy's plan I was excited that this meant a central role in Season 6 alongside Lalo's revenge tour.
brother you're killing it
When Lalo, in the end of episode, looked at the bottle, they were drinkin, he knew that Nacho is involved.
It's crazy because the whole point of thr show is showing how Jimmy becomes Saul and very quickly it shifts from that.
Kim was never gonna be thig big or huge, she didn't even existed when BB aired but somehow, they made her work inside the universe and she's as important (if not more important) as Jimmy.
I watched this as it aired and many of us, for some years complained because the show was extremely slow and we thought it was gonna be this funny transformation instead of full drama. By the time S4 aired NO ONE wanted Saul anymore because you grew attached to he and Kim so there was panic about Kim's fate and pretty much everyone pretended thst BB didn't happened😂
OMG you are so close to the finish line :) Just binge the rest and release them in whatever pace you want imho :D i'm concerned that people might accidentally spoil things for you, even innocent questions during the live stream could potentially contain spoilers. I hate leading questions. 🙃
Nacho can't really turn on Gus. The blackmail that Gus is using is that he swapped out Hector's pills. The Salamancas would never back him once they knew that. Plus the physical threat to Nacho's father. Nacho and his father would be stuck between Gus and the Salamancas with both of them going after him (and probably each other). Even the best case scenario is that the Salamancas/cartel try to use him against Gus, which really isn't any better than his current situation.
It's possible there's something I'm missing, but I don't see any way it could work.
LALO is probally my 4th fav character in bcs now❤ rewatching it shows alot more to me
After seeing how many cases have just been sitting around and ignored for who knows how long, the file room was supposed to show how disillusioned Kim is with her profession now, thus pushing her more and more over to Jimmy's side of doing things.
A reverse from the end of last season with Kim giving Jimmy the finger guns this time.
Kim in Lady Macbeth mode is scary.
😁👏💜

I've watched this episode a few times and have come to one conclusion. I believe Varga should have sided with the cartel and stayed in Mexico. Clearly Fring was not going to let him go. To him, Varga was just a pawn. But Lalo respected him and brought him in as family. He had an opportunity to warn Lalo about the hit tonight. Instead, he remained loyal to Gustavo. That was his mistake. Of course, the only problem with that plan was Varga's father and keeping him safe. Perhaps with the help of the cartel, he could have stopped Fring right then and there. There are so many complexities to this show, which is why it is the best show made. Enjoy season 6.
In that scenario, Gus makes sure the cartel finds out about the pills and that he tried to kill Hector and they off him on the spot. And his father dies. Can't really stay in Mexico. But yeah, IF Gus didn't know what he knows, and IF Nacho didn't want out, his chances for a better life would be with the cartel at this point.
@@nth_to_see_here First, Gus wouldn't know why the attack on Lalo failed. Varga could play a double agent just long enough for the cartel to kill Gus. Second, Gus has no proof that Varga did what he did to Hector. He only has a strong suspicion. Varga gave the actual medication back to the EMTs. The point is that once Varga realized that Gus would never let him go, his loyalty should have switched. Just my opinion.
@@TampaCEOyou think he has loyalty to Gus? He has a gun to his father’s head. You think that’s something he’ll try to risk.
If only Gus had chosen the 2 best hitmen West of the Mississippi Lalo would have been dead for real...
Lalo wouldn't stand a chance
Step one: flash the laser pointer in his eyes, temporarily blinding him.
Step two: helicopter bitch!
Have you seen the planet of the apes trilogy?
The new ones? Yea own them all on 4K i actually recently watched them! I really enjoy them.
hell yeah@@eliemoses
i haaaaaaaated kim for laughing at howard like that. like, HATED that reaction. when she KNOWSSSSS jimmy is responsible, and she AGAIN flips everything onto the other person and makes it seem like it's about her "not making her own decisions" when it wasn't about that at all. she's just selfish and blinded by the thrill of it. kim is a "great person" tho amirite
It finally hit me, watching this reaction -- when Elie said Kim was treating Howard as if he rocked up and threatened to kill her, like Lalo -- I think I get why Kim acted this way towards Howard (and the scheming with Jimmy to ruin him) ... this is something & someone Kim has the power to get revenge on, to hurt ... and she knows she has no power over Lalo, or the cartels. Howard represents a convenient avenue or alternative for Kim to lash out on and regain control. With Lalo able to just waltz in at any moment and neutralize them, she NEEDED to have control, vindictive control over something, or someone. It's a deflection.. and as we know, Kim plays high reputational stakes (Mesa Verde, Chuck) -- just not cartel stakes, where life and limb are at risk. So her aim is high, her range is far, and she has a convenient target in Howard, who has been (unintentionally) condescending to her.
yea good observation@@jmgonzalez4
It's easy to forget how awful Howard was to Kim early on, so there's no reason for her to give him any consideration now.
yea he was a prick, but a lot has happened since, and he has proven to be making more efforts to not be a prick. so there's also no reason for her to justify targeting him with juvenile and dangerous pranks
