idk for some reason, i was very attracted to the light blue pen. i have the same one. it's probably my fav sailor that i have. i have a pro gear and another pro gear slim but the blue pro gear slim is my fav.
This was helpful. I have one Sailor pen (the Pro Gear) and I love it but I don't feel I need too many more, the Ecos work just fine for me. That Sailor Haha ink looks so pretty, I have Troublemaker Milky Ocean which is similar (and also quite dry) and I need more of these types of inks!
I love the look of the Troublemaker inks! I only just discovered them and it appears that they are currently out of stock everywhere. I will definitely keep an eye out for them in the future. Glad you found the video helpful.
I love my ProGear Slim. I have a zoom nib. I have other Sailors too. I plan to get a king one day. I’ve held it at FP shows and love it. The one I want is $1000! The 1911 comes in King, L, And S, The ProGear comes in King, regular (just called ProGear), Realo and slim. There’s also the Maki-e, Kabazaiku, Profit, LeCoule, Shikiori and I think I’m missing some of the others... The Four Season’s came in a Medium-Fine which is sort of in the middle of the two.
I've been wanting to try the zoom nib--how do you like it? I feel like once you get over roughly $300 you are just paying for aesthetics rather than better materials, but then aesthetics can be nice:). The King looks a little too big for my small hands, but I think the regular might be a good fit--maybe some day.
T Sherbs on mine, there is a very thin visible line on the grip section (I never noticed it until I looked for it), but there are no lines on the barrel or anywhere else on the pen.
Sailor labels their nib sizes along the left side edge. I love my Sailors but they are quite an investment!
Oh I see! The writing on the side of the nib was so tiny, I didn't see it until you pointed it out. Thank you!

The blue is a Sailor Pro Gear slim and only comes in a medium fine nib.

Excellent comparison, thank you.
I am toying with purchasing a Promenade. Is there a visible seam in the plastic of the barrel or section anywhere? (I really don't like that!)

@@MysteryArts Yeah, I figured as much. Thx for checking and replying.
The Promenade is actually cheaper than the 1911 in the Asian Market 🙂🙂🙂
