I get it!!!! I finally get it!🎉 I had no idea it was that straightforward. Thank you, Daisy.
As an artist I've always been a Micron guy or other similar drawing pens. This past year I started experimenting with dip pens, which of course led to fountain pens. My first buy was a bunch of cheap Temu fountain pens. They were hit and miss. So then I got a Safari, then a Aluminum Safari....then Jinhao, then Metropolitan, a Noodler...after that a Parker Jotter, a Majohn A2 retractable, a Picasso 606, Kaweco Al Sport, a vintage Sheaffer.... but last night I went on Yoseka and got the pen I've wanted since I started this journey...A SAILOR 1911!!! I can't wait to write and draw with it.
such a gorgeous video, I love it ☺☺☺
TYSM for making this vid!!! 🩵
This is right on time! I stopped in and got a Sailor 1911 earlier this week and am already figuring out which Pro Gear is next.
Pro Gear starts to feel a bit too wide/fat for my grip after a while. PGS feels like a comfortable width for me, and if it's feeling a bit short I just post the cap. Posting doesn't make it noticeably back-weighted for me. Thanks Daisy!
These were such useful informations. Thank you! I'm still only planning to buy my first gold nib sailor pen. A pro gear slim, probably. Maybe one of Yoseka's collaboration pens. Hopefully, this year.
This was awesome! Can you all do a video comparing Sailor and Nagasawa?
Another point to talk about is converter vs piston filling systems.
Tks! great video! Best regards. ;)
Хорошо всё объяснила, спасибо.
Very helpful
Thank you for the video! How does the King of Pen fit in?
when I heard you start to talk about the difference between the gold nibs I was dying to hear you explain the differences. But you didn’t! Please, I want to learn about the difference in nibs!
What family does have steel nib options?
Hi I have a Shikoku 1911 5th Anniversary Minori ball point Pen. I would like to ask how to replace the refill ? Maybe you can let me know or feature this in your video. Thank you
Is there any difference between sailor 1911 21 K nib and sailor profit 21 K nib, please?
Hi she explained the difference in this video there is no difference Japan and USA are using different words to speak about the same pen it’s explained in this video ruclips.net/video/qpOR_JDhATg/видео.htmlsi=bhOJDITwG0Qj7WC9
Is there ever a 21k nib on the pro gear slim?
The sound of rain PGS has 21K nibs
wish you mentioned the king of pen in with this bunch. thanks either way :)
nevermind, I found the answer I was looking for ruclips.net/video/qpOR_JDhATg/видео.html
Ah yes! This video was meant to focus on the more popular models, but for KOP explanation, we have a separate video that can be found here if you're interested: ruclips.net/video/fPPTUIGBaFc/видео.html
Oh great! Glad you found it haha
Nicely dine and clearly explained! Where does the King of Pen fit in?Thank you, Daisy!
Best way to decide is go to Yoseka and try them out!
Great video! I am planning on buying my first sailor fountain pen. I am new to fountain pens. Can you please make a video going over the differences in these 2 nib sailor sizes? 🫶
Do you have the king of pen ebonite?
Pro Gears just look better, in my most humble opinion.
This is slightly misleading. There are others parts of the Sailor "family" meaning the Shikiori which looks like a Pro Gear, but it's not. Also the lower level Junior and Profit, which look like the 1911 line.
the sailor profit is a 1911 though
it's just what the Japanese call the 1911 pens
