Same here I now am on my ten gr, next week and my 1/10 platinum Britannia’s plus five ounces of silver. That my monthly spending sometimes if I’m working more hrs I’ll do it every two weeks. Just lost a shipment in the mail for the first time but it’s covered.
I'm a silver stacker looking to delve into gold in 2024. I love Brittanias and Maple Leafs, and will probably start there with 1/4oz as recommended. Thanks, and Merry Christmas to you!
I know authenticity can be an issue with bars in assays, but there's something about Lady Fortuna that is very special. 5g bars are a decent investment as are 10g bars. Something to consider for 2024. Thanks for a great thought provoking video once again FI
5gram bars are just as stacking efficient as Sovereigns or 20 Francs, at a more affordable price. Authenticity is a concern, so I prefer Kinebars, which are bars with a hologram technology (actually more secure than holograms) that can be verified with the naked eye, no machines needed.
0:00 🤔 Gold bars, particularly 5 g gold bars, are often underrated but can be a great investment. 1:42 📈 Gold bars, like this 5 g Pamp Swiss gold bar, can appreciate in value over time, offering a potential return on investment. 4:25 🔒 Gold coins often have security features like intricate designs, while gold bars may lack these features but can still be authenticated through reputable dealers. 6:02 💰 While gold bars may not be exempt from capital gains tax like legal tender coins, the tax is applied only on the profit above the threshold limit. 8:52 📊 Investing in 5 g gold bars offers a middle ground between preserving wealth and avoiding high premiums, making it a wise choice for diversification.
I disagree that any gold bar in the UK for consumers is the "best investment " and if you are buying purely for investment it should be better than alternatives. 5g bars are a good size to see the designs clearly and so are perfect for a collection. Local gold legal tender coins are far more liquid and don't attract cgt . The CGT allowance is being eroded at an alarming rate and set to get worse .
a "full" 5 gram. think about what you are saying. that is a tiny bit of gold. just because a 1 gram is a worse way to buy, does not mean it is smart to buy a 5 gram.
Not mine! I’m in a suburb outside of Chicago and my LCS pays over spot for any gold bars I’ve previously sold. This is the exception rather than the rule, depending on where you are in the States.

Aww, Thankyou Scots. Really appreciate that mate.
I try to buy 2.5 and 5 gram gold bars as well as 1/10th , 1/4 oz gold rounds and coins! My goal is to have a tube of each!
Wow Gary. A great diverse stack. A tube of each sounds brilliant 🔥
You and I buy exactly the same thing sir, the same weights as well, glad to see. Respect n blessings your way!
Have two one gram bars … just gave a friend a one gram Britannia bar as a holiday gift because she loves all things British.
Wow, Very Generous of you.
The 5g Lady Fortuna is the next bar I'll be picking up. Already got the 1g and 2.5
She’s a beauty! I’m sure glad I have one!!
@@FutureInvestmentsBullion She sure is. She's why I bought gold in the first place

That’s a very good point about Kinebars.
i dont understand how you can afford high premiums. please explain
@@DrSchor Because it doesn't matter how good is the premium of full ounce of gold, if you cannot afford to pay for it in one go.

Aww! I love to hear that! Thankyou.
Can you talks about if someone want to sell their precious metal it’s good to sell online or it’s good to go direct to the shop?
Good question. I've done a few videos on this in the past which you can find on my channel : )

Im a fan of 5g and up Gold....better value than silver...my goal is 311 grams all sizes
Awesome Goal. Anything also above 5G’s is a great buy.
Where do you get those green packaged royal mint bars?
They're old school. The Royal Mint don't sell them anymore. Try eBay or The Silver Forum.

i always see people reviwing the bars with the package on, is it bad ro remove it from the case ?
Personally I would NOT remove it
@@FutureInvestmentsBullion what if I wanted to stack them in a safe
@@vztrapzy Taking them out the packaging could her the value but golds what’s important so it will always be worth its weight. It’s up to you.

Britannias are the favourite for me too.
I was gonna buy multiple 1g since it's easier to spend less but I figured waiting and buying a full 5g was way more profitable, less premium!
Good thinking. I agree. Better to wait for 5G's.
