Omigosh this has helped me so much, by being one of the only videos out there having this workaround/latest news. Thanks a lot. You're awesome
Thank you for a great video.
I totaly agree and hope this gets to the desktop clients in a hurry as I'm no fan of working i the web client.
Note that you need to dubble click on the cell for the date picker to appear.
Love your vids! thank you. Would really like to see some Excel Data analysis using AI/ Copilot.
Thanks heaps.
I've been looking into Copilot a bit myself. I just need to find enough ideas to make videos for to justify the expense. 😸👍 Hopefully soon.
I added the date picker to my spreadsheet and changed the date column to be in short date format. but when i click in one of those cells the date picker doesnt appear nearby for date selection
Just confirming that you are doing this in the Web version of Excel? This feature is presently only available in the Web client and not the desktop or mobile apps.
I have a separate video that walks through the current option for those on the Desktop clients -- ruclips.net/video/P80GyhLaqoI/видео.html
desktop version sucks
thats an add in...
No. It isn't. This is just part of the web version of Excel.
You do still currently require an add in for Excel desktop, but not on the web.
