Hi everyone...today I tested even MORE Instagram art hacks. Some of the worst art hacks I could find. Are they good, bad, or brilliant?! Some worked...some...not so much. These are some of my favorite artist hacks so far! Have you found any that work?

By the way for the first “hack” it needs to be done on a high gloss/no porous surface (hence the ceramic heart bowl).... you could even use the package the tombow markers came in... it’ll work with the alcohol based markers that way better as well but it’s really best for water based markers... another awesome and entertaining video!

True. But, I feel that some of those art supplies could have been utilized to make it more aesthetically pleasing, Maybe that's just me though. I am always looking for ways to repurpose amazon boxes and organize my extensive...ly messy art cupboards, so I may actually use that one.

The hilgihter should be rubbed against a plate or something ceramic not paper
THANK YOU! It drives me crazy when RUclipsrs review items or try something they saw online, then they don't do it the way they are supposed to and they turn their nose up at it. "Oh I just knew it wouldn't work," "I told you you can't trust these things," blah, blah, blah. I feel like this one should have been obvious too. She is an artist. She should know that paper or the back of storage bin lid, or whatever she was using is absorbant and for that hack to work you need to be able to pick up the color, not draw another color on top of it. Lol.

@Rebster yeah but it's the back of a Tupperware tub lid and those are like a weird texture that would definitely soak up the highlighter instead of it being slippery on top. Works nice when you have to write on the tub what it is because it doesn't smear off

@@DrevikkDrevik your comment reminded me of art classes at school (hated those, didn't see the point in them) and we had to draw a circle. I lent my compass to a classmate after several unsuccessful attempts drawing a circle so we were using the same tool, he drew a perfect circle in a matter of seconds. I almost had a breakdown. (Did in fact for another reason related to this hateful class)

The first time I saw the circle one, my mind was blown. Someone just came uo while I was struggling to draw a circle in school, and showed it, making a circle more perfect than many circles I’ve seen made with a compass. If you master it, it makes perfect circles every time.

The box on the cupboard door is pretty clever! All it needed was a little time spent covering it with something more attractive... and actually collaging paper over cardboard makes it much sturdier! :D

My sister used to do one kinda like the drill one when we were younger and still burned CDs. When she would make CDs, to decorate the blank label on the CD, she would put the CD in a portable CD player and rig it so that it would turn on and spin the cd while the cover is open, and she’d turn it on so the disc would spin and she would do those same types of designs on the burned CD labels. I was so amazed with her creativity at such a young age

The "flimsy cardboard thing" was a magazine holder. Magazine holders actually come in different materials (cardboard, plastic, even metal) and can be useful for organizing things besides magazines.

I am really happy to see the outcome of this channel. Last time I went here (which were a couple months ago) she only had 1K subscribers. I just checked out her channel now, I see that she has more than 400K subscribers, I am really happy to see such a great youtuber getting the attention she deserves.

Since I had them on hand for shipping things I was selling, I used free boxes from the post office (they're pretty sturdy), angle cut them like magazine holders and covered them in plain white paper (so I could doodle on if I wanted). I use them to organize manuals, magazines and mail on my desk. It didn't take long to put them together and they've lasted pretty well. I get two organizers from one of the medium-sized rectangular boxes. They could be hung, lined up on a shelf or used in a drawer or cabinet to keep things tidy.
