I had one of these as a kid, made it myself from some pictures in the encyclopedia. The device is actually called a pantograph and has been around since about 1600. Originally used to duplicate drawings and later in drafting. There are modern versions used for sculpting and milling.
Do you ever just just scroll down the comments section and think, damn I wish i said that Edit: Wow ive never got this many likes before, even though its only 60
In elementary school there was this sheet that had us right down how much we read each day. Sometimes I didn't wanna read and so I wrote 39 minutes down in the slot and forged my dad's signiture, luckly I stopped once my parent saw and told me it was illegal but still, I was a criminal under the age of 10.
Fun fact, I was first introduced to the theory of this technique when I watched a docu about am american gold dollar. They showed this massive sculpture that had been made as the base and used a similar, but automated technique to make the mold in which the die would be made. This is a very analogue technique that can have impressive results, assuming the device isn't made out of plastic.

I had one of these as a kid, made it myself from some pictures in the encyclopedia. The device is actually called a pantograph and has been around since about 1600. Originally used to duplicate drawings and later in drafting. There are modern versions used for sculpting and milling.
No one:
Jazza: Now 👏 Lets try and use this gadget for forgery!!!!
Does anybody just scroll through the comments when a video just comes out

Making your own would probably make it more stable and able to do more things. Worth a go!

There are so many “ that’s what she said” jokes lmfao
Sitting here yelling at the TV "It's in upside down!!!" Thank goodness you worked it out - now we can sleep tonight!

Great comment
Hahaha love the intro!!! 😂
Bruh you are so funny, could probably make it in the comedic world
Fun fact, I was first introduced to the theory of this technique when I watched a docu about am american gold dollar. They showed this massive sculpture that had been made as the base and used a similar, but automated technique to make the mold in which the die would be made. This is a very analogue technique that can have impressive results, assuming the device isn't made out of plastic.
