Eloquent, funny, and thoughtful. They even did a better job at describing the joys of driving than some motor journalists.

Why limit the podcast to 2 hours? i think ~3 hours is a standard limit, but why not see where the conversations go? The last 20 minutes seemed rushed and there was a lot of good topics to dig into with these guys. Still a great podcast, thanks :)

The KIA EV6 GT has some decent sounds, the cyber one was cool to have in the background. My kid loved it which I loved to see, but speaks to how much of a gimmick it is. But at the end of the day, it was fun to have.

Loved this episode. I had no idea Johnny Lieberman was a metal fan and loved Opeth. Also, as an S2000 owner currently having an S2000 turned into a full on time attack car, I love that he was impressed by a modified S2000.

Love the discussion about creativity and AI. I’ll note that when we talk about it, we’re thinking of AI individually, but in reality it is a collective of any information across time that it can access or has been programmed. If we pivot and think of humans in the same way, we are amazingly creative and intelligent, from the diversity in building structures over time, to car design, to art and music as well. Pop music is tonal, yes, but there are countless albums of atonal, arhythmic, experimental musics out there that are appreciated. Where AI falls short is in visceral experience. It can describe the feel and sound of a car or engine, but it hasn’t felt the gravitational pull in a tight corner, smelled the exhaust, or seen the looks of people as you pass by. That is the exclusive human experience.

Very fun interview to watch. I appreciate you and guests keeping it clean. So many automotive podcasts use such foul language.
