I mean the only reason he’s not in smash is because he doesn’t have his own game and hasn’t been in any of Warios games which is stupid
I don’t think we can confidently say that’s the only reason, can we? How many of the sword characters have their own games as opposed to just appearing in them? Waluigi was the final boss in DDR Mario Mix I believe, so he does have that under his belt! Meta Knight doesn’t have his own game does he? A lot of the characters don’t “have their own game”, it seems like the problem, if anything, is his lack of appearance in a mainline game. Which is a shame! You’d think he’d be in a Wario game by now.

Does anyone even remember the original game? That was like 20% of my childhood
The original was the only one I liked, it was awesome! I’ve never heard anyone talk about this, which is strange (though I haven’t listened to much discussion of this game), but in Charged, Toad had the ability to jump. With only a little practice, my brother and I could reliably just walk up to the goalie as Toad, and literally jump right in. Totally broke and ruined the game for us.
