I think catios are the most wonderful idea. It's a win win solution for everyone. But I think your catio home is up there in the top five (in my personal list) because you had the space to create something great. Never tire of looking at it and your beautiful garden. Thank you.
cant wait to see more! im not at the point where i can have a catio myself, but your beautiful catio gives me so many ideas! thanks for sharing these videos :)
I love the landscaping on the yard side, too. Do you close up the catio at bedtime and keep the kitties indoors for the night? I'm a little surprised that a coyote hasn't tried to dig under the fencing, but happy for that!
I wish there was a video of how to make your catio. I bought a small on for my apartment yard cause there's a tree in the middle of the yard so I can't close it up. And there's plants that need the sun so yeah
@OurCatioHome I plan to remake the one I bought so I can add the litter box room cause the one I bought the wood is very thin and I also don't know what litter to get for outside
I've been watching your videos a lot the last couple weeks trying to get ideas on how to build one for my two cats. We'll be staying long term in our rv though so everything we build will have to be temporary and we're not able to dig into the site so we're limited on what we can do.. any suggestions on what you'd do for two cats that don't get along at all? I'm trying to plan it out so that the one that gets picked on has escape routes from the bully.. it's difficult too since she can't really jump and doesn't climb all that well either. The bully is very active and can run and jump very well.
Hello Cheryl, you have a set of unique challenges' indeed. Not sure how but perhaps you could build a small enclosure behind a window and use posts sitting on a 12x12 pavers for support. If possible make is so that it can be removed and re assembled. That's the best I can come up with???????
Those are some big coyotes! Thanks for showing your amazing catio. We need to keep kitties safe : )
Yes, thanks, we appreciate you!

Awe, your words mean a great deal. We are honored by your kindness. We are thinking of doing one showing the changes after 5 years. Whew.
Seriously beautiful 👏👏👏 a true enriching (safe !) fun outdoor space for your cats. So glad I found your content.

Beautiful space for your kitties to roam free. I’ve always loved your catio.

Hello Andiea, yep, we bring them in a nighttime for extra safety. So far no coyote in the yard, but they do run directly behind the 6' fence.
