I like these game overs a lot lol thanks for this. Recently played both Hotel Dusk and Last Window, idk how I slept on these games for so long. I wish I knew they existed a long time ago
I find it hilarious that Kyle gets beaten way much more than his previous game despite being an ex-cop in front line. Not to mention he used to dress like a salesman but snooped around in Hotel Dusk without selling a single thing, but this time dress neatly but desperately try to sell anything to anyone. It's really the funniest chapter.
Man, the game over where the lady says she's going to kill herself and then says that you're overreacting for panicking before leaving sure is... a thing.
I really appreciate the time and effort you have put into these videos! These games are so underrated, but they are some of my all time favorites. Good work!
They're like the same quality to me. The mystery is much more interesting in Last Window imo but it doesn't have as good character moments. However I really loved what it carried over from the previous game and learning about Kyle's past. Was rewarding for him as a main character. Shame we didn't get a 3rd part because I really think we would've gotten the most satisfying game out of all of them (Kyle would've taken out Nile for good most likely)
If you're a character cast guy you'll like HD more. If you're a mystery/protagonist lore guy you'll enjoy LW more. I finished both this month and while I was playing LW I couldn't decide if I liked it more or less than HD because while the music, setting, art were all better, the neighbors weren't as fleshed out as the clients were in the previous game. Feels like it lacked 1 or 2 hours of content to connect with the characters more. However I liked the premise of Last Window more and the final act was really satisfying compared to HD's, so in the end I personally have to say Last Window was the better game.
man, forget being a musician, Tony would get far in boxing considering he knocks out Kyle in one hit...XD
Dylan could also do the same. Sometimes I wonder how Kyle could survive until now despite being front line ex-detective.
These are so unhinged compared to the Hotel Dusk game overs goddamn
Mags just forcing Kyle and Dylan to help the residents move out 😂😂

This game does not have much marketing, and I'm not sure how I would describe the game in an enticing way. It is so well made though.
Kyle should be in the next Punch Out game, because he’s turned into Glass Joe out here 😅

I've never seen that animation before, of Kyle falling over. There's a lot of content of him failing.
ultimate test of social skills
also no idea why i expected a game over where will or dylan unloads their gun at kyle

Fascinating to see all these variations.

I've never understood why some people say Last Window is better than Hotel Dusk, but I appreciate your doing this video regardless!

they're about the same its not like last window is vastly worse than hotel dusk
