Six gets kidnapped by the tall man and after mono comes to rescue her and she catches him when he leaps she sees his face up close for the first time. Since he threw his facemask off. She realised he is the thin man. That he will become him if she saved him and they are trapped in a loop. She drops him thinking he would die and that this would end said loop. But in reality he becomes the thin man no matter what. She didn't betray him and he understood that even when he became the thin man. Thin man never kills her, he locks her away but gives her toys and her music box back. When the thin man catches mono he litteraly the only one who doesn't eat us. He just trying to stop his younger self.
I agreed with 8 Bit Ryan here, a very special character indeed. This scene symbolized Six's past. When she worn the Rain Coat in memory of the Little Girl In The Yellow Raincoat from the Mobile game. But what makes this sad and interesting... Is that Six was the Mascot we got to know from the first game. Her mysterious, and dark self to be seen in her true colors. This part right here, with what's been over looked. This subtle music, tell more about this character...This shows you, that she returned. With it's sadness behind it, you remember it. Also, with yellow. Yellow the color representing "Uplifting" "Bright" "Friendship." With things that happened here makes it sad.

What I find so interesting about that scene is that six's theme does technically play here, but it sounds closer to room with a view from the first game's dlc, especially the notes that play as it trails off
Here’s to clear up the sequel/prequel issue: This whole universe is stuck in a loop. So after the events of the first game it loops back again. This means the content of this game is a prequel. However, this game itself is a sequel because it is a loop after the first game. There are still some little confusion with this, like how the 6 in from first game would have to fight 6 from the second game but it is the best solution I could come up with
something interesting if you are paying attention, when Six starts putting on the raincoat the lights start flickering, giving us a hint to her powers and true nature, much like the end of Little Nightmares 1 where she basically become Darth Nihlus and sucked the souls out as the lights exploded above her

Knowing that this is raincoat belonged to the little girl in very little nightmares, and 6 is the little girl that accidentally gets her killed, make this scene all the more crazy. She sees the raincoat, realizes who it belonged to, and wears it like her armor.
this part legitimately made me cry so much when i played it, and it makes me even more sad now that i've played it through and know the ending :(
