This OKC team is the biggest what-if team in NBA history. This team was stupid young too like wtf Westbrook and KD were both 23 while Harden and Ibaka were 22 during this run and made it to the NBA finals to lose to a prime Lebron, D Wade, Chris Bosh, Battier and Chalmers. MasterGaming // MG Westbrook and harden are back together. I wonder would KD had went to Brooklyn if he knew westbrook and harden would be united. Although there’s still a chance KD could come back. He’s on a 3 year deal +1. He’d be at least 33-35 by the time his deal is up in Brooklyn. Westbrook seems to still be an athletic freak in his 30s and hardens game doesn’t depend on athleticism. So they could still be a dangerous team in their mid-30’s. As long as Father Time doesn’t take a big toll

Next time OKC when you have a core with the dynamic like they did the chemistry they did the childhood background that Harden and Westbrook had, DON'T THINK ABOUT MONEY JUST GIVE THEM EVERYTHING YOU HAVE IN YOUR BANK ACOUNTS CAUSE CHAMPIONSHIPS AREN'T WON WITHOUT SACRIFICES and sacrifices aren't only meant to be made by players in order to win, the James Harden departure ended their chance to creating perhaps a 2010s dynasty like the Warriors did.
In the end they you lost all 3 of them with nothing to show for that's a shame and one of the biggest what if's in nba history.

It honestly more than that if we’re being realistic. Given how the KD-Westbrook-Harden relationship has turned out to be, this team may have not meshed out enough to get a ring. They would be more skilled, but you can’t have a team of stars that don’t have chemistry.

@@narrow3601 People tend to forget that Harden didn’t play good in the Finals and Perkins-Ibaka were solid big men, which is why the money went the way it went. I believe that Harden would have not turned into the player that we know today, because being by himself blossomed his game. Had he still been a sixth man, you got Russ and KD who were continually growing apart but still had to be the main two players. Their trio isn’t like the Heat where they all had strengths that helped one another.
It’s one of the best what-if scenarios in modern NBA history. If I were OKC, I would’ve built a team with KD and Harden and left Russ. Now that team, with a good supporting cast and playmaking guard, would produce the Harden and KD we see today.
